S_ALR_87013127 and KKBC_HOE

Hi friends,
How the following reports correspond to each other:
1. S_ALR_87013127
2. KKBC_HOE
Rgds,
Raju

Hi Raju,
S_ALR_87013127 - Order Selection
Using order selection, you can generate a list of orders with the associated data and key figures. Order selection allows you to select orders according to different criteria. The result of your selection is in the form of a list of orders containing specific master data and key figures on the orders.
You can create exceptions to specify that all orders that fulfill certain conditions are identified with colored traffic lights (red, yellow, green) in the results list. This way, you can filter out orders that should be analysed further.
The results list has a number of navigation and formatting options and can be modified by the user. From the results list in detail reports, you can branch off to single orders or to a comparison of two orders, in order to examine these orders more closely. You can also go to the master data display for characteristics from the results list. You can, for example, display the master record of the manufactured material for an order to be analysed.
Order selection is not a summarized analysis and is not based on classification. It mainly serves to answer ad-hoc questions that arise in Cost Object Controlling.
From the following screenshots, you can understand that when I selected on Product as my input parameter, system will generate the list of all Production Orders created for that material during the given periods. We will be able to see all Key Figures and compare the Orders.
KKBC_HOE - With Defined Summarization Hierarchy
The report category Summarized Analysis contains reports that show aggregated data. For example, you can do target/actual comparisons at the product group level.
In Product Cost by Order:
With an order hierarchy with classification, you are free to define the summarized structures as you wish. However, you must use classification. This reduces performance as compared to a summarization hierarchy. Therefore, you should only use classification when you need to work with user-defined characteristics.
In summarized analysis in Product Cost by Order, the data updated on production orders and product cost collectors is summarized at higher levels.
The Information System for Cost Object Controlling provides a number of different procedures for analyzing the costs of a material or order at a summarized level. Data is summarized with the following methods:
u2022     Product drilldowns
u2022     Summarization hierarchies
The following presents short examples of the different reports for summarized analysis. These examples serve to illustrate the differences between the individual summarization methods.
Product Drilldowns
A product drilldown is an interactive tool for evaluation and presentation of data in Cost Object Controlling. The data is summarized according to predefined structures. You can expand this summarized dataset using different criteria to access the lower levels.
You have a report that summarizes the data by the characteristics plant and material.
Suppose you manufacture materials M1 and M2 in plants A and B (i.e., each material is manufactured in both plants). With product drilldown you can analyze them from different perspectives:
Which materials accounted for which production costs in plant A?
Plant A
u2013 Material M1 USD 1000
u2013 Material M2 USD 3000
What were the production costs for material M1 in the two plants?
Material M1
u2013 Plant A USD 1000
u2013 Plant B USD 6000
Summarization Hierarchies
In the summarization hierarchy, the data is also summarized upwards according to a predefined structure that you can define yourself. In contrast to product drilldowns, you can only expand this summarized dataset in accordance with the predefined structure from the top downwards. The summarization is by original cost element.
Suppose you manufacture materials M1 and M2 in plants A and B (i.e., each material is manufactured in both plants). You define an order hierarchy (structure) in the following sequence:
1.     Plant
2.     Material
You then have the following analysis options in the report:
Plant A
Material M1     USD 100
Material M2     USD 200
Plant B
Material M1     USD 300
Material M2     USD 120
In contrast to product drilldowns, it is not possible to dynamically reverse the order of the characteristics plant and material.

    Hi,
         We are facing a big issues at the end of the perio 2 of 2009. Our KE24 and KKBC_HOE balance does not match. We have ccompared/hecked all our previous months balance and there it was matching accurately. But for period 2, there is a mismatch.
    Could anybody pls suggest why there is a difference. Is it becuse that KE24 will show only the itmes which are settled and KKBC_HOC inclues both Settled and not settled items..
    Pls help on this......

    hi
    as you said check whether some transcation has happend but which are not settled.

  • KKBC_HOE, KKBC_ORD explanation needed

    Hi,
    I would like to use KKBC_HOE summarization report to analyze my production cost centers to compare plan/target actual costs for activity confirmations used by production orders.  I think I can achieve that, as from KKBC_HOE I can gather cost center, activity type, planned quantity of hours, target quantity of hours, actual quantity of hours, planned costs, target costs and actual costs of activities confirmed.
    I have only some doubts about these key figures. If I select only one particular period for analysis:
    - will plan quantity and plan costs of activity confirmation refer to total planned costs of the order (even if order lasts more than one period) or only plan quantity and costs that should be used in the selected period
    - will target quantity and target costs of activity confirmation be calculated only after final delivery from order to warehouse or will they be calculated with every partial delivery which happens during the period.
    I think these questions refer both to KKBC_ORD and KKBC_HOE as these reports work in the same way.
    Thank you for help,
    Karol

    Hi Ajay,
    Thanks for your reply.
    When I run KKBC_ORD for REL and PDLV order, while generating the report in the low left corner there is information 'Target costs being calculated'. Then it shows in KKBC_ORD the target quantity and costs for the partially delivered quantity to the stock. However, when I run KKS2 for this order I get information that Variances cannot be calculated as no DLV or TECO status is set.
    I think that KKBC_HOE shows target only for DLV and TECO from the table populated by KKS1 in the monthend. Please check KKBC_ORD for a REL and PDLV order and I think you will get target for it.
    I have a hierarchy for KKRC which captures orders with REL and not DLV status. Target for such KKBC_HOE is zero. This makes me think that KKBC_HOE differs from KKBC_ORD in terms of Target data.
    Thanks,

  • Looking For Standard SAP Report - Production Orders - Hours

    Is anyone aware of a standard report in SAP's PP module that shows labor hours in a planned vs. actual fashion?  The report that resides in a single production order via the menu path Goto -> Costs -> Analysis is great.  Our Plant Managers though need a report that allows people to view orders in summary across their plant.
    Thanks.

    All -
    I appreciate the suggestions.  I did try transactions S_ALR_87013127 and KRMI.  Here's what I found:
    - S_ALR_87013127 is good transaction our Plant Managers already use to see their performance on Plan vs. Actual for costs.  Unfortunately, hours are not included on the report.
    - KRMI is a transaction I had not used before.  I unfortunately couldn't get any actual line items to appear.

  • Production order cost report

    Hi Murari
    This report can take you to each single order at one go...
    If you want to download all the Prod orders in excel with detailed itemization (i.e. Each BOM Component, Activity Qty, etc), I doubt any report in SAP would help you.... You can take help of your ABAPer and develop a new report

  • Mismatch of WIP report total and GL Trial balance

    Per requirement, I am expected to see that the "WIP" reported in GL trial balance and the
    Total WIP we get from the Report “S_ALR_87013127”  (Path-Easy access-CO- Prod.cost Controlling—cost obj controlling—prod cost by period—info system—Object list)" – matches per plant.
    I run the CO43, KKAO, KKS1, CO88 jobs every weekend. I take the spool request from the CO88(Prod settlement) then I  also remove scrap variances for a production orders which error and then run the Variance and Prod settlement(CO88) jobs again.
    I still don't see a match yet. What could be the reason?
    What can I do to correct the WIP from Period 1, 2008?
    I have period 1 open in OB52.However executed MMPV o February 1(priod 2)?
    Thanks.

    suggest to create customize TB report.

  • How to compare the variances of production order type and get report

    Hello All,
    I want to compare the variances of production order type wise.
    for ex. i want variances of order type PP 01 and PP 02 in a single report.

    Hi Sachin,
    You have to maintain summarization hierarchies to achieve this.
    1. Maintain summarization hierachies with hierarchy level - order type in the t.code.KKR0
    2. Generate the hierarchy in KKRC
    3. Run the report KKBC_HOE

  • How does the KKBC_HOE work?

    I've been having discussions regarding the KKBC_HOE.  In particular how does the varient work.  We have a choice to chose several different variants and order statuses.  My question is if we are to capture the true target detail for the month what Order Statues are best suited to make that report.
    For example what happens if we just choose DLV - Delvered and TECO - Technically complate orders?
    If we choose PDLV - Partially delivered does it update the Target hours.
    I've searched all over the internet and cannot find a complete descriptive explanation of how exactly this report works.  I'm hoping someone can provide me with some guideance. I do know you have ro run the summarization job KKRV or KKRC as well as WIP and variance calcualtion before executing the KKBC_HOE.
    I look forward to your input and help.
    Dan Goodhart

    Thanks for the replies.  What I have been able to determine from how we run our KKBC_HOE is that we run KKRC just for the current month.  Then we run KKBC_HOE for the current month.  The KKBC_HOE picks up all activity for the "actual" column that has occurred during that month.  But the Target column only get poppulated if the order is marked DLV or TECO.
    To measure overall performance you really would need to run this report over several months.  Also, does anyone know if the target is taking the standard cost per unit X Planned order quantity or does it take Standard Cost X Actuall Quantity received?
    Although there is a Target line based on the actual number of cases received it seems like the rest of the report is based on the Order Planned amount.  I'm trying to figure out if we have all our switches set right for this report.
    Thanks for your feedback.

  • KKBC_HOE Summarized object does not exist:

    I've set up a new Hierarchy for CO Summarization using KKR0.
    Before doing that I created a new status profile with BS42
    In the Hierarchy I've liinked the status profile which tells the hierarchy to only summarize DLV - Delivered orders.
    After executing KKRC I attempt to run KKBC_HOE and I get the following error:
    Summarized object does not exist: CO ZDLV
    Message no. KN 020
    Diagnosis
    You have not carried out summarization for this order hierarchy or cost object hierarchy. For this reason it is not possible to display any information on node CO ZDLV .
    Procedure
    Carry out order summarization or cost object summarization. Then call up the function again.
    I've tired re-running KKRC a couple times but I still get this error. When I review ZDLV configuration the "summarized" box is checked.
    Does anyone have any ideas why I am getting this error.
    Dan

    We are on 4.6C and have not been keeping it up to date.  We are something like 30 update packets behind.  I started with this company back in Novemeber.  As a result I think some weird things happen to us because the system isnot up to date.  after the first month of using the new hierarchy now when I run KKRC and KKRV I am able to execute KKBC_HOE.  All is right with the world, well for this problem anyway.
    Take care,
    Dan

  • Cost object Controlling - Transaction KKBC_HOE

    Hello CO experts
    Can anyone let me know or provide me the documentation for CO summarization report.
    I defined hierarchy in the customization (SPRO) but it seems that it is not complete in all respects.
    I always get "Hierarchy does not exist".
    Thanks and Regards
    Subbu

    Hello Jayaraman,
    It seems that you are just missing the data collection step ( summarisation step), which is a prerequisite, before executing the summarised analysis report KKBC_HOE.
    Till the time , data is not collected in the defined hierarchy, we keep on getting the message as   "  Summarized object does not exist :"
    The steps are
    1.  Define / Create summarisation hierarchy - KKR0 - I believe, you have already done this step.
    2.  Data Collection for the above summarisation - KKRC -  for required hierarchy / subhierarchy / period -  ( Menu path - Controlling - Product Cost Controlling - Cost Object Controlling  - Product Cost by Period  - Information System  - Tools  - Data Collection  - KKRC - For Summarization Hierarchy )
    Request to test this for a specific material / period / order type initially , to avoid long run times, and once satisfied / successful, collect the full data by executing the job in background.
    3. Execute report KKBC_HOE
    Hope this helps.
    Please do not forget to award full points, if satisfied and successful.
    Cheers

  • Kkbc_hoe - Authorisation check required

    Hi,
    We have an audit observation in our project.
    There is a concern from auditors that KKBC_HOE enables user to access other companies information. Is there away to prevent this? Is there a problem if we create a hierarchy for every company code? And is there a replacement report to provide the same information without exposing other companies info.
    Regards,
    KRV

    You can give an authority check in user exit at the beginning of your given object (SAPLCATS). There in the object part you will have to give the condition what you have stated.

  • KKBC_HOE Display Summarization Hierarchy

    Hello experts,
    TA KKBC_HOE displays summarized data Plan/Actual Comparison. We can display Actual cost credit and Actual cost debit. If I select the icon 'Hierarchy Summarization Display' than the report display data for the summarization hierarchy levels. The list of the fields for the layout offers only Actual a Plan cost debit. How can I display Plan and Actual cost credit? I didn't find these fields (columms) in the list of fields for the layout.
    Thank you for your help.

    Zaneta,
    It is there in the layout selection layout,see my layout selection option

  • A problem with Threads and loops.

    Hi, I have some code that needs to be constantly running, like while(true)
          //code here
    }However, the code just checks to see if the user has input anything (and then if the user has, it goes to do some other stuff) so I don't need it constantly running and hogging up 98% of the CPU. So I made my class (which has the method that needs to be looped, call it ClassA) implement Runnable. Then I just added the method which needed to be looped into the public void run()
    I have another class which creates an instance of the above class (call it ClassB), and the main(String[] args) is in there.
    public static void main(String[] args)
              ClassA test = new ClassA();
              Thread thread = new Thread(test.getInstanceOfClassA());
              thread.start();
              while(true)
                           //I do not know what to put here
                   try
                        thread.sleep(100);
                   catch(InterruptedException iex)
         }However, the thread only calls run() once,(duh...) but I can't think of away to get it to run - sleep - run -sleep forever. Can someone help me?

    Hi, I have some code that needs to be constantly
    running, like while(true)
    //code here
    }However, the code just checks to see if the user has
    input anything (and then if the user has, it goes to
    do some other stuff) so I don't need it constantly
    running and hogging up 98% of the CPU. Where does the user input come from. Are you reading from an InputStream? If so, then your loop will be blocked anyway when reading from the InputStream until data is available. During that time, the loop will not consume processor cycles.
    public static void main(String[] args)
              ClassA test = new ClassA();
    Thread thread = new Thread(test.getInstanceOfClassA());I have never seen this idiom. If ClassA instanceof Runnable, you simply write new Thread(test).
              thread.start();
              while(true)
    //I do not know what to put
    do not know what to put here
                   try
                        thread.sleep(100);
                   catch(InterruptedException iex)
         }However, the thread only calls run() once,(duh...)Yeah, why would you want to call it more than once given that you have an infinite loop in ClassA.run()?
