S/MIME Signed mails links behavior in OWA

Hello all, i'm currently facing a problem with the OWA.
Server: Microsoft Exchange 2010 (Version 14.3, Build 123.4)
Client: Window 7 Pro | Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.17280
Received (signed) mails containing a link will reformat the URL (http://www.google.com)to:
https://b8b17ec8-ad06-44c8-b0d1-54f3ad2ef661/?REDIRECT=x-owacid2://DE530000/jmp:https://myexchangeserver.mydomain/owa/redir.aspx?C=izUaz_SpYUCbjOtKsoTTUkqUyiITsdEIVqUJ4RdfSgu3NdgypHP4h50cXQD6XaFU97sMkfF5BII.&smime=14.3.123.2&URL=https:%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F
Received (not signed) mails will display:
https://myexchangeserver.mydomain/OWA/redir.aspx?C=izUaz_SpYUCbjOtKsoTTUkqUyiITsdEIVqUJ4RdfSgu3NdgypHP4h50cXQD6XaFU97sMkfF5BII.&URL=https:%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F
This happens only to signed mails.
Any clue?

yes,
your answer did not match my question.
as i already wrote in my first post:
"How can i configure OWA to display the content of a S/MIME signed message in an unsupported browser
(and probably display the above warning since the certificate cannot be verified)?"
I know in which browsers S/MIME is supported, but OWA does not display the content of a signed (not encrypted!)
in another browser. This behaviour was not there in exchange 2010.

  • OWA 2013 SP1 read S/MIME signed mails on other browsers

    Hi,
we have configured S/MIME on our exchange platform using set-smimeconfig. It works so far, but we have encounted a rather strange behaviour:
When trying to read a S/MIME signed email in a browser other that IE, it just displays the error "S/MIME isn't currently supported for
    your browser or platform."
How can i configure OWA to display the content of a S/MIME signed message in an unsupported browser (and probably display the above warning since the certificate cannot be verified)?
    Kind regards,
    Peter

  • Plus "+" signs appear in subject when using "Mail Link to This Page" error

When I choose File > Mail Link to This Page in Safari for Windows (all recent/current versions), Safari opens a new Outlook email message window with a link to the web page I want to send in the content area of the message as it should, however the subject line contains plus sign "+" symbols between every word in the web page's title, as shown here:
    Subject: Apple-+Support+-+Discussions+-+Post+Message:+NewTopic
Any tips on how to make those distracting plus signs go away?
    Joe

Yeah, I've posted the same inquiry. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything back yet regarding this annoying issue w/ the "+" symbols showing up in the Subject line every time we mail a link.
Hopefully we'll get some type of assistance soon.
    Good luck!

  • Send S/MIME signed email

Does anybody have experience sending S/MIME signed email with Adobe LiveCycle?

    Hi Casper,
I don't understand what do you mean by saying "multipart/signed email".
EWS managed API has already shown how to create and send email, please take a look at this link:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/exchange/jj220499(v=exchg.80).aspx
Or if you like, here is a tutorial about how to encrypt and sign mail in .net:

If the links above doesn't help, please describe your requirement clearly, and I will be glad to help you.

  • Safari Quasi-Hung - Mail Link to this Page - Power Cycle Required

Hi! The other day, I was looking at a web page in Safari, hit the "+" icon and chose to "Mail Link to this Page". I chose the person I had in mind from my contact list, but realized that there were a couple others at the same firm that I should also copy. Not seeing a way to search on the company name at that point, I hit the Home button, went into Spotlight, searched for the company name, and found the other people.
Armed with the names of the others, I went back to Safari, but I was not returned to the point of addressing my message. Instead, I returned to a partially crippled Safari. (from memory now:) I could do the back and forward arrows, but there was no response to taps on "+", Bookmark, or Tabs. Thinking maybe I should be in Mail, I tried going there, but it also showed no sign of the pending message forwarding the link.
I found no way out of this other than a full power cycle of the phone.
    I have an iPhone 3GS 32Gig.

Have not seen this problem with more recent iOS releases. Particularly, the ability to cancel an Email and save it as a Draft would seem to render this moot. Thanks for the feature add.

  • Clicking the Sign in link often leads to an error 404 page

    Hi!
This is an error that has been around (at least on my computer) for some months now:
Pressing the Sign in link on the Adobe Forum pages takes me to a non exising page error (404).
this is the page I get to:
Page is not available broken link 404.
Also there is no form to report this kind of web page errors, when clicking the "Send us an e-mail" link on this page..
Signing in from some other page or form at first seems to make no difference,
reloading the page makes no difference, but clicking "sign in" again, I get logged in (without getting to the sign in page).
Am I the only one having htese problems?
I'm on Windows, alwsay using FireFox (latest version).
    Best regards,
    Andreas Jansson

    Andreas,
A week, or so ago, there was some maintenance on the Jive end of things, and many were getting similar 404 errors. It was my understanding that those had been resolved, and that things were working fine.
As several have been having issues with Adobe's own cookies (I had a big one with Adobe Store), I would also try cleaning your browser's cache, just to make sure that it's not something specific to your browser.
As many of the "powers that be" monitor this forum, like the tireless John C./Adobe-Admin, I suspect that after the three-day weekend (for many in the US), that you will get definitive answers and advice. Look for those to come on about Tuesday.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • E-mail links from iCal event - not working in Yosemite

My workflow has always depended on dragging e-mails from Mail to iCal
This generates link in ical event "Show in mail" - giving me option to find the e-mail with one click from iCal
Since Yosemite install the links go wrong!
I can generate several events from several e-mails and all links point me to the same random e-mail. I haven't yet found clear pattern in this randomness, but it seems to link to the first mail-to-iCal created after sleep/restart, but not always...
    Anybody experiencing similar bug?
Tried "mailbox" > "rebuid" with no result.
    Any more ideas?
I'm on MB Pro 2009 using POP-accounts for mail but the random-link behavior is just same when dragging mails from my icloud account.

Well it's good news i'm not alone in this - frustrating indeed!
Searching for solutions with no result so far.
I've been migrating my user library from one opsys to other since Leopard i guess, so probably i should just do a clean install one day - this MUST help
My workaround after a week of being just unable to manage my incoming information was to use Notes
Dragging emails to notes content still works, and in a way i kind of like it - u can keep a single note with several links to different emails etc. At least for now it seems like a decent substitute. Organizing notes to folders is helpful too, but i guess you can't organize folders in iOS which is really bad.
So - still hoping to move back to my iCal

  • When opening Apple Mail links 2 Firefox Windows Open, The top one is blank and the one behind it contains the web link page???

Whether with previous version of Firefox, or new one (3.6.4), when I open an Apple Mail link, Firefox opens 2 windows. Top window is blank, window behind it contains web page for mail link that I hit. I can't find anything in preferences of mail or Firefox to resolve this issue.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened

I have discovered one solutionto my problem, which is not really convenient and is something I don't have to do with Safari 5 -- If I have Firefox open, but not a window open, then when I click on an Apple Mail link, only 1 window opens. But I don't always want to have my browser open, so this is kinda annoying. I'd rather not use Safari -- Firefox is so much better. Please fix this! Thanks.

  • I'm unable to access my yahoo email account using updated firefox browser, i keep getting error page when I use the mail link on yahoo pages

Since updating Firefox browser, i am unable to gain access to my yahoo email account. I can access the email with Interent Explorer with no trouble. Whenever I click on a mail link on the yahoo sites to check my mail, I get rerouted to an error page ..... "Sorry, we can't find "ca.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?.gx=1". Please check the spelling of the web address." is what is said at top of page whenever I click on any mail links.

This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access  "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password.  instead of the yahoo account password.

  • How can I use apple mail (linked to gmail) and get it to only do autofill on the contacts that I have in apple address book?

How can I use apple mail (linked to gmail) and get it to only do autofill on the contacts that I have in apple address book? Everytime I write an email on the Apple mail app (as well as in Gmail) it recommends a bunch of emails that are not my contacts. I want it to just autofill for the contacts that I have in my address book. Is this possible? Thank you. I have an Imac Intel version and an Iphone 5 phone.

    Thank you so much!
It was simple as you described it, and is now fixed- have a wonderful day!

  • ICal Bug: "Show in Mail" link is broken

When creating a new calendar item from within mail (Yosemite 10.10.1 (14B25)) (Mail Version 8.1 (1993)) the "Show in Maill..." link opens the incorrect email. In fact, every "Show in Mail..." link from every calendar event points to the exact same email. Using right-click "Copy Link",  EVERY calendar event with a "Show in Mail..." link has the same link: message:%[email protected]%3E
I have since deleted that email and now all the links point to a blank email: a window opens with the same menu title as the original email, but the window is entirely empty.
The problem is NOT with Mail. It is with iCal. This is because even calendar events created months before that email now have the same link.

Same problem. It does not always open the same incorrect email. I haven't figured out the pattern. It seems to find one of the most recent emails that should be linked to a DIFFERENT calendar event.
I only notice it when trying to click the "Show in mail" link.
This feature is very valuable when it works. It used to be reliable on my MacBook Pro, but on iOS it would often transfer me to an email box but not to the specific email, which was useless.
Now it seems to work on iOS, but not on my Mac. I think the problem began with my Yosemite upgrade, but not sure.
This is a problem for me because I love creating events from emails.

  • "Show in Mail" link in To-Dos - can't get rid of, like a virus

    Hello!
I use To-Dos in iCal intensively.
But strange thing started to happen - all my To-Dos magically get "Show in Mail" link in URL field.
When I enter a new To-Do - everything is fine,
but after a couple of days "Show in Mail" link sticks to it again.
(This link takes you to nowhere).
And I can't get rid of it any other way then just by deleting "infected" To-Do.
    Please help.

I think I've got it fixed....I "reset" my mail program, I deleted my mailbox then re-created it and I'm all set for now.
