S.O.S : problems packages!!!!!

Hi everybody:
I have a problem creating packges. When doing portlets, with HTML informtaion (I do not want to use Built-in portlets, I want to create a new one, a database portlet to practise)I do not know how to create a link which goes to next pages (in another procedure but in the same package).
Can anybody help me?

Problems Packaging/Copying Links..

I have a huge file, 50 pages chock full of high res art that is being pulled from all different folders on my machine. There are 300+ pieces of art, the InDesign file itself is 75MB. When I try to package it, OR go to the LINKS panel and choose Copy Links, and try to gather the art that way, it works for a while and eventually gives me a message that just says Cannot copy linked files.. or something like that.. sometimes it copies nothing.. Other times when I try: when I go and look it DID copy many of them but not all, can't figure out the rhyme or reason what went wrong or why it chose some but not others..
It should not be a memory issue on my machine, and all my links are up to date, etc..
Any ideas why this won't work?

I don't think a space should be a problem, but I usually use an underscore for the same thing.
As far as how deep, I don't know if there's a hard limit, but the total number of characters in the path is a factor. Not sure what the limit is on that, either.

Problems packaging epub file

Hello, i hava a problem when i am packaging a epub file. it pass epubcheck with " no errors"
When i try to package the file i put: java -Xmx1024M -jar uploadtest-1_2.jar [URL] file.epub -pass X -xml -jpg
I don´t know what it is happened...

I hope this isn't a silly question, but when I viewed the help for the "open/create/replace file" tool it said this for the file path:
"file path is the path name of the file. If file path is empty (default) or is (not a path), the VI displays a dialog box from which you can select a file. Error 43 occurs if you cancel the dialog box."
That is different from what your help says. The help I read for mine implies that the dialog box pops up only if you don't wire a path to it, leading me to think if you wire a path to the file name it will automatically use that file without bringing up a dialog box. It says nothing about the file path input being used only to specify the initial path for the dialog box - which is what your help says.
I'm using LabView 7.1, is there a difference in help dialogues between versions of LabView?

Problem: package javax.servlet.jsp does not exist

I am a novice JSP programmer. My projects that use any javax.servlet classes are not seeing those at all. I am working with a group of folks using Java SE 1.5. (Note: I'm using Windows so the directory separator is "\")
What Used to work:
1. Nearly all my projects were working using Java version 1.6. These projects were developed as examples from Wrox and Apress books about JSP and Struts.
What has changed:
1. I un-installed the version 1.6 of JDK and JRE, as well as tomcat, netbeans, and all the associated libraries/jars.
2. I installed version 1.5 of JDK and JRE, as well as tomcat, netbeans, and all the associated libraries/jars.
3. I updated my JAVA_HOME, CATALINA_HOME, CLASSPATH, and PATH environmental variables. I made sure that the path to servlet-api.jar (in the tomcat common\lib) is included in the classpath.
What is wrong:
1. References to javax.servlet.* are not satisfied--they are flagged in the source code in NetBeans and I get compiler errors with any project containing those references. For example:

Oh. I got some over-the-shoulder debug help.
My error was in the classpath specification:
The path: %JAVA_HOME%\lib\jsp-api.jar
Should be: %CATALINA_HOME%\lib\jsp-api.jar
That contains the javax.servlet.jsp.*

UTL_SMTP Installation Problem, Package Created with errors

Hi Forum Friend!
I tried to Install UTL_SMTP Package in my Oracle8 Release 8.0.6.1.0. A friend of mine sent me the UtLSMTP.SQL Script and I run from SQL+ connected as SYS. When I check the Package by the Oracle Schema Manager I Notice that UTL_SMTP has errors so the package will not run successfully. The Errors are the following:
PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "CONNECTION" when expecting one of the following:
:= . ) , @ % default character
The symbol ":=" was substituted for "CONNECTION" to continue.
I have no Idea how to handle this error. I tried to install the Package in my Developing Database But the Production Database is in HPUX(Unix). Could you please send me some recommendation to solve this issue and start executing the package!

Problem packaging AIR app with NativeProcess support!?

My AIR packaged AIR app doent work with NativeProcess
when I package it like
<supportedProfiles>extendedDesktop desktop<supportedProfiles>
or
<supportedProfiles>desktop extendedDesktop<supportedProfiles>
But when I use just <supportedProfiles>extendedDesktop<supportedProfiles>
Packager complains with Error 306!!
What is that suppose to mean?

Are you packaging your application as a native application (.exe or .dmg)? I believe applications with extendedDesktop support (and nativeprocesses) can only be packaged as native applications.

Problem packaging epubs - Invalid UUID

Hi All,
We have some epubs that will not package. There are various messages but the epubs seem valid when checked on epub validators.

The string that ACS is complaining about is the ISBN of the book. This could possibly be coming from the file name which is <ISBN>.epub.
What does the Invalid UUID mean?
If we change from epub to pdf the file works fine which suggests its something to do with the epub.
Any help appreciated.

Problems packaging assignments for incopy

After the recent updates I can't seem able to package the assignments for inCopy anymore.
Any clue?
If I right click on the assignment all I get is "open package" or "add to assignment" but the option "package for inCopy" has disappeared

Is there any way to control the zoom factor so that when my SSIS Package is opened, it is entirely visible within Visual Studio?

I have formatted my SSIS Package beautifully, if I do say so myself, so that all my tasks are visible at 50% zoom. However, when I close my project and then re-open it in Visual Studio, it defaults back to 100%...YUK!
I did find this post which didn't seem to work...even to the point that no where within my xml could I even find the "PersistedZoom" Parameter. I even tried manually adding it, I couldn't find the exact syntax on it, and that didn't even work.
1. In BIDS (Visual Studio) first close all open SSIS packages / xml files to avoid confusion ...
2. Right click on the SSIS package and select the "View Code" menu item. (to open the actual xml)
3. Search for all instances of "PersistedZoom" and change the value directly to the right of it to 100 (mine
was 80 or 90 ...)
4. Now save and close the XML file.
5. Now open the SSIS package in the designer, you will notice that it is still scrolled to the bottom right!
6. Now make any small change (I scrolled to the top-left and just slightly moved a task)
7. Now save and close the designer
8. Re-open the SSIS package in the designer! and what do you know it does not start scrolled down to the bottom right anymore!
Let me know if you still have issues - but as I said I followed this same process on all my problem packages and they ALL now open correctly.
I noticed that after doing all this the PersistedZoom property disappeared from the xml, which leads me to believe that if I zoom in and out of my packages again it will probably get stuck by opening to the bottom right again ...
Can anyone help me out with this?

There is no way to preserve view preferences.Just remember or annotate the zoom % used in the package.
You may want to open an MS Connect item asking to add such a feature.
I can tell you it may not be implemented because a package may be opened on different size monitors.

Problem with binding sequences to attributes

Hello everyone.
[you may directly jump to the question at the bottom of this post and if you don't understand what the heck I'm asking, feel free to read the whole post ;)]
I wanted to crate a table node where several attributes are for rows only.
Because i want it to be a CustomNode, the table should be created dynamically (one should at least be able to define different amounts of rows and columns at the initialization).
My problem is a combination of "creating dynamically" and binding attributes.
To create an arbitrary amount of rows i use a "while(i < x) CustomNode{}" loop.
To store the value of an attribute for a row i use sequences. So during the loop i do the following:
someValue: bind sequenceValue[i]
After quite some frustration i finally discovered that all the attributes will be bound to sequenceValue[last value of i].
I don't find the right words right now, so here's some code to demonstrate the problem:

First method: i add b1 thee times to the scene and set the attribute

2nd method: i use a loop (its index to bind the corresponding sequence entries to the attributes)
finally i added a key listener, which changes the value of the last sequence value if an arbitrary key has been hit.
output for using the "this works" block (1st method) after pressing some keys:

In the end all attributes will be bound to the same entry. So messing around with the index, so it doesn't get beyond the sequence size, won't help.
So to finally bring this post to an end ;P, here's my question:
How do you create an arbitrary amount of Nodes containing attributes which are bound to a list entries?

May be you can fetch the data from the table with looping the table size and catching the
index of the elements . To be more clear .
1 . get the size of the table .

Java Reflection API problem... Please HELP!

It's really odd, becuase there were rare times when it works although I don't change the program...
I tried changing the problem line to stuff like:
            Class classDefinition = Class.forName(className + ".java");or
   Class classDefinition = Class.forName(className);but with no use. Same error. Can someone please pinpoint the problem?
I'm sure the program does get to the Server, because it can print out the file name.
PS: Sometimes it works when I use the same PC as the client/server, sometimes it doesn't.... Help :-(

What's this dot-java stuff? Are you sending a source file? If so, that isn't going to work. You need to compile the file and send the dot-class file.
I'll try that. However, can I make the Client program complie the .java file? For example. something like Class2.compile()? Is this feature available, or do I have to open Class2.java and compile it from there?
And in the server you need to either store that somewhere in the server's classpath....
Isn't it automatically stored there? If not, how do I make it stored in the same file as the Server source file (I assume that's what you mean by classpath)?

InDesign CS6 won't package fonts or package anything after installing OSx mavericks - Client is waiting

Pre-Mavericks I had zero problems packaging my INDD files in Adobe InDesign CS6 with all fonts and links intact. Now, when I go to package the same files I successfully packaged last year under Lion, InDesign tells me the fonts can't be packaged (and doesn't package anything else either). My client is becoming very frustrated so I would really appreciate some help from Adobe in solving this problem as soon as possible.

Which fonts are affected? - I'm assuming all of the fonts are affected since no fonts are able to be packaged.
Are all used fonts installed? - Yes
Did you have your fonts in a Document Fonts folder beside your old file and saved your new document on a different place? - Before I upgraded to Mavericks I was able to package everything for this exact same file so I do have fonts in the packaged folder (referring to my 2013 file) so even though the fonts aren't in a Documents folder (they are inside the package "Fonts" folder) so I think the answer to your question is yes.
Does your font folder have the same permession as the folder before? - I believe so because I never changed the permissions for the fonts
Do you use CS6 as part of the Creative Cloud and are you using TypeKit fonts? Or are you using the boxed version? - I am trying to avoid using Creative Cloud since I already have CS6 that I have already paid for. What I am reading on the internet, however, is that Adobe is forcing people to move over to CC when they upgrade to Mavericks due to problems like I am having now. I am not sure if this is true/untrue but I am definitely concerned. I can not afford right now to start paying a monthly fee (especially after I have already paid for CS6). I am using a boxed version of CS6 and I am not using TypeKit fonts.

here you can see that URL contains substring "monthes_=200206&monthes_=200205&monthes_=200204" but in "parameters" section there's only one "monthes_".
This procedure is part of a package. I tried to create empty package with this procedure alone. And it works. But the original package doesn't work.
Similar things has happened in some other packages. It seems that the problem is somehow connected with IDENT_ARRs.
I can send you configuration files for app server and the problem package.

Check for procedure name overloading for the procedure you
are trying to run
If you still have problems, please provide a simple testcase
which shows the procedure signature and how you are attempting
to call it
