S video with Flash Encoder 3.2

We stream a great number of events for clients around the country.  We have just transitioned from Windows Media Encoder to Flash Encoder 3.2.  Is there any work around for those clients of ours that use S video out of their cameras.   Flash Encoder does not seem to work when the video output is through an S video plug.  In Windows Media Encoder you could configure the encoder for eitehr composite or S video.  I do not see this option available in Flash Encoder 3.2   Am I missing something?  Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank You

The option for using s-video or composite should be done on the grabber-card in youre computer.
widthout more information about youre setup, my only tip for you would be to start FMLE, select youre grabber card, and click on the button to the right, with an wrench on it to change settings on the card.

  • Need help with coding for HTML5 Video with Flash fallback

    Hello, need help with my coding in Dreamweaver CS5.5 for HTML5 video with Flash fallback. Not sure if the coding is correct. Do I need anything else Javascipt etc?

    The reason you see a blank page is because it's trying to load the file that is pretty humungous and there is no preloader. So, you see a white screen till it complets loading.
    Also, the reason why its loading a SWF file and not any of HTML5 type video is because your doctype declaration is XHTML1.0 and not HTML5.
    Change the 1st line in your .html file from:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    to:
    <!DOCTYPE html>
    Then see if your HTML5 video types load with <video> tag.

  • Hi I want to broadcast recorded video using flash encoder?

    Hi I want to broadcast recorded video using flash encoder, or their is any other way for broadcating recorded media files as live tv?

    Hi,
    You can do server side play of the recorded media file. After that once any one connects to that application, that file will be played as live. Following is the code to do this:
    var streamname="stream_name.flv"; //Name of the recorded media file
    application.onAppStart=function(){
              application.onNCA();
    application.onConnect=function(clientObj){
              application.acceptConnection(clientObj);
              trace("***Connected : "+isConnected);
    application.onNCA=function(){
              trace("onCA "+streamname);
              streamObj=Stream.get("foo");  // foo will be the live stream name
                        streamObj.onStatus = onStreamStatus;
                        trace("here "+streamname.split(".")[1]);
                        switch(streamname.split(".")[1]){
                                  case "mp4":
                                  case "3gp":
                                  case "f4v":
                                            streamPlayName="mp4:"+streamname;
                                            break;
                                  case "mp3":
                                            streamPlayName="mp3:"+streamname.split(".")[0];
                                            break;
                                  case "flv":
                                            streamPlayName=streamname.split(".")[0];
                                            break;
                        trace(streamPlayName);
                        streamObj.play(streamPlayName);
    function onStreamStatus(info){
              trace("Stream "+info.code);
    application.onDisconnect=function(clientObj){
              application.shutdown();
    Anyone connecting to above app will be able to play "foo" as livestream name.

  • Exporting video with Flash CC

    How do I adjust settings to Flash CC for exporting video? A Quicktime video that was once about 50MB from Flash CS6 is now 7GB with Flash CC.

    Thank you. However, I see no setting options in Flash Pro CC prior to

  • Still can't watch videos with flash

    I am a firefox user. In some sites, the videos require flash and windows media. I have both installed . but, there are still some videos I can't view and  when I ask the site to test what software is missing, it says that I do NOT have the flash installed...
    Last time it did work, I enabled/disabled some plugins, and then it suddenly did work - I just don't rememeber what exactly I did ... and it doesn't seem to work now.
    HELP!!! thanks.

    Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox 13 are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.
    In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:
    [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems]]
    [[Flash 11.3 crashes]]

    If you've already tried all this, I'd suggest the following:
    Install Firefox 14.0.1.
    Update your graphics driver and Windows. [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
    Then test again.

  • Issue loading videos with flash.

    Hi, how are you all doing?  Maybe someone knows how to fix this .. flash sometimes (like once a day) instead of playing youtube videos or anything with flash right away (like usual) it waits until the whole video loads till playing it and the loading sing is the only thing i see. The only way I have right now to solve this issue is restarting the computer and it goes back to normal.
    what could be?
    I have flash 11,0,1,152 on windows xp sp3 and the issues goes on and every explorer (I've tried mozilla, opera, google chrome and IE.. and the same happens). but I use google chrome.

    Try running the Bunny stage video here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/stagevideo.html
    If it starts buffering, it means your graphics driver is probably not up to the job. An update might fix the problem.
    You could maybe try running the videos in HTML5 instead of Flash to see if that makes any difference. To join, click the link underneath the buttons at: http://www.youtube.com/html5 (no forms to fill in). Go to the same site to leave the trial.

  • Automating Video-to-Flash Encoding/Conversions

    Hi, I hope someone can help me with this, as numerous calls
    to Adobe have gone unanswered (no callbacks).
    I need to either find a product and/or solution that will
    enable me to convert various video formats (e.g., QuickTime, MPEG,
    Windows Media, etc.) to Flash automatically as opposed to doing it
    manually via the Macromedia Flash 8 Video Encoder or other manual
    process(es).
    A good example of the functionality I need is equivalent to
    how
    YouTube works: When you upload a
    video to YouTube, some background process/service runs that takes
    that video and converts it to Flash, and this is done
    automatically--without user/manual processing. I need to have a
    solution that does something like that.
    Any suggestions/help are/is greatly appreciated.

    In my case, this is 3 physical (not partitions) SATA II HDD's, where I spread the I/O load over all three.
    C:\ OS, programs
    D:\ Projects w/ Scratch Disks
    E:\ Media and Page File (this system)
    In the particular case above, the test Project happened to be on my E:\, along with the media, and my Page File. That is not how I normally work, but decided to leave it alone, for this timing test. It is obviously not the ideal, when it comes to "spreading the load," and is not my recommended scheme. The Export was also to that same E:\, so there should have been a bit of an I/O bottleneck there.
    I also went against my normal workflow, as I did not shut down anything, including AnitVirus, spy-sweeping and pop-up blocking, plus I had 5 tabs open and active in Chrome (my browser). Again, this should have created a bit of a CPU bottleneck.
    Still, with all those things being done in a less than ideal situation, the time was pretty good. Not sure how much I could have shaved off the Export process, had I set things up in my normal fashion, and created an ideal environment.
    Sorry to not define the terms early on.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • How can I stream video with Flash?

    Hi guys!
    I have a placeHolder MC in my main movie.
    Within the placeHolder is an external swf containing an mpg
    video.
    How can I code the preloader of the external swf to stream
    the mpg?
    Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you.
    All the best,
    Mark

    if you mean stream as in streaming video, you need the
    communication server.
    if you mean preload the file, you can do so with various
    components in flash.
    loadMovie
    Loader
    MovieClipLoader
    and more that escape my mind atm.

  • Importing Video with AC3 encoding

    Hi,
    I am completely new to FCE 4.0. For years, I've been using my Sony DVD Camcorder (DCR-DVD403) to capture my raw footage. The camcorder an onboard Dolby Digital AC3 encoder which I use all the time. I import the video to my PC since using the Sony Picture Perfect software to preserve the AC3 encoding. However, when I import it into FCE 4.0, the video plays fine but I get now audio whatsoever.
    Any ideas how to fix this?
    Thanks,
    Randy

    Thanks for the tip. I ended up using the MPEG Streamclip function "DEMUX to M2V and AC3" to divide the original video file into a discrete video (.m2v) and audio (.ac3) file. I then imported into FCE 4. I was not sure how to load the two files into the Preview window, so I instead chose to drag each file separately into the Sequence window. To get all 6 audio channels I had to add 2 more audio channels prior to loading. FCE requires that you render the entire clip first after completing the render, I was able to replay the clip with full 6 channel Dolby Digital.
    There is still one thing that I cannot figure out. Which audio channel corresponds to its respective audio output (ie. A1 = Front Left, A2 = Right Left, A3 = Centre, ...).
    Anyone know the answer?
    Thanks,
    Randy

  • No video with flash player version 11.6.602.180 in IExplorer10

    Tried to solve with given steps on http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-games-video-or.html#main_Flash_Player_ information
    Version check (step 1) doesn't show no movie , but neither any error.
    I cannot proces step 7; the settings-popup doesn't show up.
    H2 get the video's on screen again?
    Rgrds

    OK, the link showed my display driver (and other Intel software) was nu up to date:
    Graphics Driver: Product detected: Intel Processor Graphics 3000
    Current Driver installed: 8.882.2.3000
    Newer Driver available: 15.28.15.64.3062 (9.17.10.3062)
    After some time trying and retrying etc. (and stopping my antivirus program) I succeeded to update Intel Wireless Display Software to 4.0.18.0 (was 2.0….)...!?
    However the Grahpics Diver I could not update. Downloading succeeded, the update program runs, and all updating seems to be processed.
    However when the system is restarted and I've rechecked via the same link, it reports 8.882.2.3000 being the current driver.
    Also updated Flash player to 11.7.700.169.
    Still no video visible, but only Flicker and Twitter icons in bottom right corner, and after some time the tiles to start another video.
    Please what needs to be done to get Flash Player show video's?

  • Open video with Media Encoder on a mac

    This may be a super easy noob style question, but here goes.
    I'm on a MacPro running OSX 10.9.4, Adobe CC 2014. Whenever I need to convert a video file using Media Converter, I'll right click the file in finder and go to "open with", and can't get finder to recognize AME as a recommended application. It's not a huge deal, because I can select "all applications" instead of just "recommended applications", but that is just such a pain in the buns. Is there any way to get OSX to recognize AME as a "recommended application?" Like I said, not the end of the world by any means and I'm probably just derping up and being a noob, but if anybody knows I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

    As far as I know, you don't... those are Windows formats that are not available on a Mac
    Nonsense.
    Apple Compressor has been doing wmf exports for a decade. I have the Quicktime export components from Telestream and they appear as presets in Compressor. They should be available in Media Encoder or they should be importable. Adove apparently refuses to see them. Still trying to figure that out.
