S12 with the VIA Nano ULV 2250 processor splashtop 2.0

i am ready to order the s12 with the via nano does it come with splashtop 2.0,or can a older version of splashtop be updated

Hi,
Lenovo Quickstart is a system in a system... based on linux ... installed as a program at same partition where windows takes place ... but independ & installed in invisible folders ...could be activated via BIOS or in Windows ..
also known as splashtop ... thats also right...
For short ...a small system for a quick internet ....reduced to a browser, musicplayer, messenger... but not as target to take all advantage of a full system....so there is no pdf viewer or video player available....
if you want  a more full system on a system, think that better fullfilled the lost features than use Jolicloud in near same way , but without Key using QS...
You can install  Jolicloudexpress without fear on every running Windows  ... as a normal program .. if you didnt like that.. simply de-install it...
... about Quickstart  here...
sincerely KalvinKlein

  • Question about VIA Nano ULV 2250 ( 1.30GHz 800MHz 1MB ) processor on S12

I called Lenovo today to ask about the Nano Ulv 2250 and Nano Via Integrated graphic card-Chrome9 HC3 version that they are also offering in addition to the Intel Atom. What I got wasn't too informative but it was interesting. When asked about the Nano UlV processor the Sales guy from Lenovo told me that preformance wise that it performed as well as the Intel Atom processor but it drained battery a little more quicker. When asked why the Nano version of the S12 was selling for $429 on the website while Intel version was selling for $499, his response was that the name Intel was driving the price up.What exactly are the differences between these two processor and is the Intel processor worth the extra money?Does anybody know when they will ship the S12 with the Nano
I was trying to  do a review about the S12 on my website www.bestnetbooksof2009.com
    Thanks
    Tony

  • Is it possible to make photos with the Ipod nano 5G?

Is it possible to make photos with the Ipod Nano 5G?

No. But you can take a photo of the video with your Mac.
With the iPod connected to your computer, click on the iPod, open the DCIM folder & move the video file onto your desktop. Play the video & when you get to the part you want to take a picture of, put Quicktime on pause. Take a screen shot (appleshift3) or (appleshift4 for cross hair cropping) of the paused video.

  • Which of these accesories will work 100% with the iPod Nano?

title about sums it, which will work with the ipod nano:
    Radio Remote
    http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=MA0 70G/A
    AV Connection Kit
    http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=MA2 42LL/A
ALSO is the av kit overkill for the iPod Nano? The av cable looks like it would not work,no video from Ipod so what the point of a video cable? Also I am pretty sure it doesn't have an ir reciever for a wireless remote so what that part of the av kit be useless too?

The a/v kit won't work with the nano. Specifically the v part. The audio and the rest will work, though.
The radio remote works 100% with the nano.

  • What is up with the iPod nano 7th gen.  I just had a second one die. with both after only 3 weeks of useage?

what is up with the iPod nano 7th gen.  I just had a second one die.  both after only 3 weeks of useage... both dead since Jan 10th 2013.

this is an answer I just gave to someone else.
i'm going to ask you to try something I just did to fix a maybe simular problem that worked..... but I don't know why yet........make sure your iPod in plugged into your computer (mine is a Mac) and iTunes is turned on. My iPod  was  also "dead" but had been plugged into my computer for a couple of hours (but not lit up in any way).  Then (in desperation) I held down all the buttons, the on/off (on top right), the small Home botton at the bottom of the face, and the volume/pause buttons (left side).  For whatever reasons my iPod came back to life in a needs restoring mode ....and asked me to restore it in the itunes like "new'  iPod connected mode.  Since I have a Mac I also had to give permission to do a download by entering my computer password. If you have to do the same have that password ready. Then it did a restore software download.  Everything previously on the iPod was erased and had to be re-synced,  but I was just thankful to get it up and restored again.
Give this a shot and I hope it works for you.....but  why? I don't know yet, I need more questions answered.

  • What's wrong with the Zen Nano pl

I've been looking around for the MP3 player that will suit my needs.
The key features I need are...
    . Above average sound quality.
    2. Flash based.
    3. Small. Can accompany me anywhere with ease.
    4. User replaceable battery. (after few years, built-in battery will die. sending to service center for replacement is a pain in my country)
    5. The screen that let me navigate through my music files.
I've been deciding between the iPod nano and Mobiblu DAH-500i(Currently I've not enough money for the iPod nano though.). But for some reason I just want to check creative website. My last creative product was back then...... the first generation Creative Nomad Jukebox 6GB.
And I found this one, the Zen nano & Zen nano plus. This player meets all my requirements. I quickly browse CNET and PCMAG.com for the reviews of this product. Yes, they say good things about it. But the rating is somewhat low compared to other models out there. PCmag give it 3.5/5. And Cnet doesn't even have a full review for it.(only 'preview' available.)
I'm not sure if I can think this way but after reading through the 'features' page, I think this product just simply 'SHOULD BE MORE POPULAR'. It's so perfect. It fills all the holes I have in my mind about iPod nano(no drag and drop) and DAH-500i(battery life). I'm not interest in FM radio though.
So I'm starting to wonder if there's some hidden flaws about it's Forexample, is it only compatible with AAA alkaline battery but not the rechargeable AAA Ni-MH or Ni-CD battery? This thing is build of very cheap plastic? etc...
Question # Please let me know what is the 'bad' point of Zen nano/ Zen nano plus. Because I really can't find it.
Question #2 Is there a hole on the device where I can atach a lanyard?
    Thank you.

As said above, the N200 is the exact same (with some software exceptions and maybe the odd change) as the Nano Plus.
The plastic the player is made out of can be quite fragile (I've got a crack in the bottom of my player) - but it's not so fragile as the Ipod Nano seems to be (it's meant to be a magnet to scratches), it's a bit of a cheap plastic, but I'm not sure the extent of how fragile it is, though you can't literally snap it in half.
You will need to reload the firmware every so often, if you're lucky, it might be every few months, some have to do it every few weeks (It could be the luck of the draw, some people might have faulty products, but it is something that needs to be done). This usually is the fix for any random problem with the player (at least it's not always back to Creative for repair)
The Line in is pretty shoddy, don't use that. (They might have fixed it in the later versions of the firmware, not in .2)
The sound quality is well, as good as you can expect I suppose, it's not the worst thing in the world, but testing it against my cousin's Ipod Photo (I know it's not exactly a big comparrison), there's no or very little difference.
The battery is user changable, AAA batteries. There have been some cases with some rechargeables not working - that could just be the luck of the draw, or just a incompatability issue, like anything that uses batteries. However, most rechargeables should work with the player well. (I'm using rechargeables as well)
There is a hole for the laynard around the back of the player - yet I remember the hole on a user's player had broken. In Asia, the player is sold with the laynard, whereas in North America and Europe, it comes with an arm band and a rubber cover with a plastic belt clip.
The backlit buzz as mentioned above is also a problem, though on the Cnet Asia review for the N200, the claimed it wasn't audiable during music playback. Though how much it annoys you can depend on you, it's like some people can sleep with World War 3 outside, some can only sleep in perfect silence.
I'm sure there will be people with horror stories about the player, but there will always be people with horror stories about everything and anything.
Feel free to ask more questions if you want.
Although, saying that, the Samsung players are meant to be pretty good as well if you want to check them out.Message Edited by arcl on 09-26-2005 02:23 AM

  • Does the Altec Lansing IM500 work with the 2G Nano?

I can't work out from the Altec Lansing website or Apple Store (or Google) whether the IM500 will work with a 2G Nano. Does anyone here know?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

Thanks Richard, it still confuses me because when you follow the link on the icon with a big line through the 2G Nano it doesn't actually say for certain that it won't work on a 2G Nano, just that it works on a 1G Nano. Also, on the Altec website, it suggests it will work with a 1G Nano with a case on it which leads me to question whether it will work or not. I feel a visit to the Apple Store in Bluewater coming on to try things out for myself!

  • Does anyone know if the Sony JamBox RDHGTK33IP 420W is compatible with the ipod nano 7th generation?

It doesn't say so on the box, just the ipod nano 6th and earlier. I am hoping someone already tried using the 7th and has an answer.

    Hello Jay,
    Welcome to the Sony Community.
The Sony RDH-GTK33iP Home Audio Docking System is not compatible with iPod Nano 7th generation.
    Thank you for your post.

  • Help with the Korg nano key usb keyboard!

I recently bought the Kord Nano Key usb keyboard for the purpose of triggering drum sounds and sounds from the library. Will this keyboard do this?
I have very limited time with which to read manuals and experiment. Could anyone just tell me how to get going with this keyboard. I have installed the driver and can see that some sort of signal is getting into logic.
If it is possible, can you get me up and running quickly?
    Thanks

I'm assuming the Akai came with a manual, I know Logic did, you're going to have to do a little of the work yourself, your question is so vauge that no one knows what you're tried, or if you've even tried anything at all! This is professional software... you HAVE to read manuals...  have you used Garageband?  Have you plugged the Akai in, have you looked in Logic's online help systen to see how to load a software instrument?
Or job is not to hold your hand, this is a user forum, there are people here that will help but you need to to some work on your own.

  • IPhone to MacBook transfers of files like with the iPod Nano

I want to transfer Downloaded Email Attachments to my MacBook computer.
This is possible with the Nano by making space available and transferring by USB cable.
How can I do that with the iPhone? Can I buy software to do that?

I believe the only files that can be downloaded to the phone are applications and pictures. If you want the document, i would recommend emailing it to yourself.

  • Using Speakers with the ipod nano...help?!

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me. I have the ipod nano and am planning a party. The room is very long and narrow. I was wondering if I can connect speakers to the nano to reach both ends of the room (about 200 feet long). We really want it as background music. Which speakers should I get?
I also have a pretty good docking station, can I connect speakers to it? Do they make cords long enough to reach both ends of the room?
    Thanks so much!!!
    ipod   Windows XP

You can certainly attach speakers to your nano, but there are a few things to think about:
    1. If you try to run the nano off its battery during the party, you may find that you lose music when the battery runs out. Think about connecting the nano to a charger while the party is going on.
    2. Parties typically get pretty loud. The nano is designed to drive headphones, not speakers, so you are not going to get enough volume just by connecting speakers to the headphone jack. You need to either use powered speakers (less good solution) or feed the nano into an amplifier and connect the speakers to the amp (better solution).
Enjoy you party! With the "party shuffle" feature, you can enjoy a great mix.

  • Are there problems with the 5g nano and previous games?

I just got the 5g nano to replace my video and i bought two 99 cent games because well, they were only .99. Chinese Checkers and Reversi. When i play the game, the screen keeps shifting. Before you say you are rotating it and the accelerometer is detecting it, this happens when it is laying flat on the table without me touching it. I'll make my move, and then the other people will go, and then it will point to my item that i want to move, only its not in the position its pointing at. If the board were flipped it would be correct. Kinda hard to explain, but if it happens to you, you will understand.

What are the system requirements of the games you purchased? Game compatible with 5th gen nano?
Apple is not going to respond here because this is a user to user message board. If you found no help on Apple's message board, iPod PDF user manual or Apple's Knowledge Base, every iPod comes with complimentary, single-incident telephone technical support within 90 days of your iPod purchase. Take advantage of it. If you have AppleCare, call them.
