S20-30 SD host adapter driver - Windws 8.1 reinstall issues

Dear All
I had to reinstall windows 8.1 on my S20-30 following a harddisk failure. I downloaded and installed all the drivers from lenovo support but
1) The Intel SD host adapter shows error with status disabled.
2) The Lenvo support software complaints that it n longer can detect warrenty information.
Any pointers is highly appreciated

SATA Host adapter issue

Hey guys, I Believe that I have found an issue with the SATA host adapter in a Pavilion p6210y desktop. I have having trouble restoring the system after a hard drive replacement and I discovered that if I have BOTH the hard drive and the CD-ROM drive unplugged then the machine will boot. If I plug in either the hard drive OR the CD-ROM then the machine will hang on the HP BIOS screen. Voltage output of the PSU is normal. I'm thinking the host adapter (motherboard) is toast.

D1000 issues - array controller or host adapter?

I have a 280R with a PCI/SCSI card installed. there are 2 scsi paths from the card to a D1000 controller. Recently I have lost 6 of the 12 D1000 disks - I have been told it is the D1000 controller that is faulty. My question is how would I know if it was the controller on the D1000 or the host adapter on the 280R? How can you diagnose the problem?

Well, if the 6 drives lost all shared the same controller number, or are all in the same "side" by scsi id of the D1000 then that is a sign it is isolated.
As a test, you could shutdown the 280R, set auto-boot? to false, reset-all, then do a probe-scsi-all. See if you get 12 drives, six in each contoller. If one side has 6 and the other none, you could swap cables and reset again, see if the problem stays with the hba or stays in one side of the array. That would confirm where the problem is.

Is the PCIe Host Adapter safe to install to a Mac pro running SnowL?

I buy them without drives, then add Seagate 7200.11 drives. The jury's still out on their 720.12 series. The 7200.11 series had a firmware issue months ago that has been resolved.

Error while installing network adapter driver on HP ML 370 G4

We have HP ML 370 G4 server. And I get an error while installing driver for embedded network adapter on Solaris 10.
I don't know what to do...

If you're sure that you have a Broadcom BCM57xx
device installed in the machine, then you should have a look at
"prtconf -pv" output, locate the Ethernet device, and check the
"vendor-id" / "device-id" property for the NIC.
If the Broadcom device is compatible with Sun's "bge" driver, you

I'm not able to install Win 8.1 Broadcom Bluetooth Adapter driver on my p7-1446 (2013-10-22 , Version12.0.0.7620 Rev. A, 8.59M).

New Host Adapter plugin for Illustrator CC 2014?

I'm seeing that the Host Adapter plugin for Illustrator CC does not work for Illustrator CC 2014. I've checked that the AIHostAdapater.aip file is installed in the correct AI CC 2014 folder. But calling AIEventAdapater.getInstance().pingPlugIn() always results in "pingTimedOut".
Is there a new AIHostAdapater plugin forthcoming for Illustrator CC 2014? Or is it available somewhere to download? It is not available as an update through Extension Builder.

Multiple host adapter framework caches in PI 7.1

When I go look at the caches in my PI system, I get multiple host adapter framework caches. That is, when I navigate to http/<host>:50000/dir, then select "Administration" in the upper right hand corner, and then select "Data Cache Overview" I see the following:
af.<sid1>.<hostname1>
af.<sid2>.<hostname2>
Integration server (ABAP) --> this is fine
Mapping Runtime Java --> points to <hostname1>
Mapping Runtime Java --> points to <hostname2>
I just did a system copy (export/import) and I changed all of the parameters. Unfortunately, not soon enough.
Any help is appreciated...

Dumb question:
Do you delete the integration server under the SLD technical systems? That is, "Integration Directory, Adapter Engine, Integration Repository, and RWB (these are all that shows up). If I delete the adapter engine there (it is assigned to the wrong domain), is that the right way?
Or do you do it in the "CIM Instances" --> Class --> XI Adapter Framework (3) entry for the wrong server domain?

Hi does anyone know where I can find an updated VGA standard graphic adapter driver.? or what make it is?My young one is trying to play Roblox but keeps getting a message that the driver needs to be updated.Also if it is possible to install an other graphics card.

You need to be running DirectX 9 at a minimum and it's not on your PC per PC image that you posted. You can try installing Directx but I suspect that you might need a video card. If you need a video card, then it's an older AGP style, 1.5v card that would be rated for Directx 9 and would work with the power supply size in your PC.

Host Adapter DOCUMENT_WRITE_PREPROCESS Event, not enough time

Dear all
I want to do some stuff before the document saves.
I use the Host Adapter with Illustrator
When I register a handler:
AIEventAdapter.getInstance().addEventListener(AIEvent.DOCUMENT_WRITE_PREPROCESS,handler);
the function gets called when saving, but the document is saved before my actions are finished. Can I get Ilustrator to wait till my function has finished?
In my case I want to write some XMP data right before the document is saved. Is this impossible? What the point of this Event if cannot finish your actions before the actual writing of the document is done?

How can I do some action before the actual saving of the document is done. How can I update the XMP data before the data is saved?
How can I make the document saving operation wait for my code to finish?
One hack could be just call the document.save() or document.saveAs() again. But when the user choose some specialised options when he saves a pdf, I don't know this options and will write a pdf with default settings.

Is anyone using the Illustrator CC host adapter on Mac?

I'm not able to successfully use the Host Adapater for Illustrator CC on Mac OS. It's working on Windows and on earlier versions of Illustrator. I'm using Illustrator CC 17.1.0 and Mac OS 10.9.1.
Is anyone else successfully using the Illustrator CC host adapter plugin on Mac OS? If so, where did you get the host adapter plug-in from, and did you have to do any special "tricks" to install it?
I created a new Extension project in Extenion Builder (licensed copy of EB 2.1), selecting the options to use the Illustrator host adapter libraries. My extension just has a button that calls the AIEventAdapter.pingPlugIn() function and a list box to show the results (i.e., "pingSucceeded" or "pingTimedOut"). I then used Extension Builder to Export the project as a ZXP and sign it (with a self-generated certificate). I then installed the test Extension with Extension Manager on my Mac. All of this completes without any errors, and the AIHostAdapater.aip is in the correct Illustrator Extensions folder. But when I run the Extension the pingPlugIn() function always returns with the "pingTimedOut" event. The same Extension correctly results in the "pingSucceeded" event on Illustrator CC on Windows or for earlier versions of Illustrator on both Windows and Mac OS.
Is there a known problem with the Mac OS version of the Illustrator CC host adapter plug-in? Or an updated version somewhere?

Introscope host adapter

I am using solution manager 7.1 sp10
While configuring our new server in managed system configuring on step 7 configure automatically I get error at introscope host adater as below:
CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT : SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT")
CX_SOAP_FAILURE : Error when processing Web service call
CX_SOAP_CORE : Error when calling SOAP Runtime functions: SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT")
I checked parameter icm/server_port_0 it has correct value PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$,TIMEOUT=300,PROCTIMEOUT=600
Then I check other servers which were connected successfully now they all are showing error at this step
Anyone has any idea how to solve this issue and why this issue is started?

Teredo Tunneling Adapter Driver code 10

I have tried a number of the steps from previous postings but nothing is working. Still can't print.
My desktop is HP Pavilion 500 and the printer is HP Officejet Pro 8600. The desktop runs on Windows 7, 64 bit. The problem just started yesterday. Tried to restore from an earlier date, uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer but no luck.

As i know AS400 is using TN5250 emulation but Scriped Host Adapter support TN3270 emulation.

Mount host hard drive in Arch VM

i've got archlinux installed in a virtual machine with vmware workstation 8 hosted on win7.
the open vmware tools for archlinux aren't working.
Is there any alternative way of mounting the host hard drives in the virtual machine?
now i access them with samba.. :S

You may be able to add a 'passthrough' device. I think Workstation can do that. But I have only used passthrough when the entire hdd was otherwise idle (none of the partitions were mounted by the host OS).
