S2svpnadmin -Resolve IP address for other side?

I don't have static IP address at both site I would like to connect. They both have DYNDNS and I can always resolve the IP of the other site.
Why in the setting for the s2svpnadmin I can not put a DNS name in only a ip address.
Here is the output I get
Please enter the external gateway address of the local site: xxx.dyndns.org
Failed to create new config: invalid external gateway address specified for the local site
All I would like do to is put a DNS name not an ip address

This is easy on a cisco or even a linksys can do it. but don't want to spend the money one a more expensive router for the other site....
or maybe a 3rd party software that I can try.....
Anyone have a work around?

Is there the way to do subj? How is iso image of the installation media builded? I assume there is some sources which I can to download and build by myself.

If you are building this for running arch on an old 486 pc (why else would someone do such thing?) you probably will need to optimize the packages (like the kernel) for such old machines.

Can't resolve .local address on Windows Vista 64 bit

I have Windows Vista 64 bit edition and installed Bonjour 64 bit.
From my Internet Explorer Bonjour toolbar, I can see my Bonjour device. However, when I try to connect to it, I get a DNS error.
Any suggestions? I've tried disabling firewalls and antivirus.

The problem appears to be in 32 bit programs. The 64 bit version of IE can resolve .local addresses, but 32 bit programs can't. I can map a network drive using the address as well.
Oddly, my version of Safari can "see" the .local device and lists it, but it can't connect because it can't actually resolve the address.

Sync your iPhone to iTunes, and see if that does the trick. Also you could try a Soft Reset with no Risk to Data. Holding down both the Sleep button and the Home button until the Apple logo appears and then waiting for the Reset to bring you iPhone back to the lock screen. Are you trying to add the email at Settings>Messages>Send and Receive from (2 Addresses) your iPhone number and your email address?

I have loads and loads of free podcasts in iTunes in my iMac, that are certainly more thant the 5 gigas the iCloud provides for free, so I don't want those to go to the cloud. But this is perhaps a different question...

You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. It sounds like you are not able to correctly see the message you are typing because the keyboard is in the way. I can understand how that would be pretty frustrating. I would start by quitting the running apps on your device:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

I'm using UDP Send to send an 1D arry with 3 elements. On the other side I'm using UDP Read to read my 1D arry with 3 elements but they are coming in a string for somereason.

Using UDP send to send a data across a connection to UDP read data by using a Port and IP. The data I'm sending is 1D array with 3-elements. I'm taking the 1D array on UDP send side and converting to a string before I send out b/c UDP can not read an array. So I'm using "Array to Spreadsheet String" to and sending it.
On the Other Side I'm using UDP Read to read the data by listing to a port and capturing the data. I'm receving the data but they are in string format instead of 3 spreate elements. So how can I change that to 3 elements instead of string?

It is usually easiest to take any data and flatten it to string before sending.
On the receiving side, use unflatten from string, using the original data type as template.
You can do this with any kind of data (array of strings, array of numbers, booleans, complicated clusters, etc, etc), see attached code image.
Flatten and unflatten is very efficient and does not change the data. For example there is no rounding or formatting loss.

I m a networking student and I have learned to connect 2 machines on Red hat Linux OS on same Ethernet LAN which has same subnet mask. As Mac OS X is also a linux based OS I m trying to connect my Mac with my friends windows based machine using telnet <ip address of his machine>. However, I get a message "unable to connect to remote host".
Can anyone please tell me is this the problem because of different OS or it is something different!

The machine you're trying to connect to needs a Telnet server running on it - telnetd listening on port 23 (usually).
Incidentally, Mac OS X is not a Linux based OS, it is based on BSD Unix.

I thought it was the printer but it happened w/1 other printer as well, which I used before for this exact thing w/no problem.

Try cleaning the print head with rubbing alcohol wipe, then replace your print head. Keep pushing the Ok.
