S5 back to IPhone 5

Hello I switched to an S5 Active from IPhone 5 about a year ago and would like to switch back to IPhone without having to pay off my next contract and paying for a new phone. Can I just go to my local AT&T store and have the activate my sim card in the IPhone and if there would be a fee??

you still have to pay off the next plan on your s5. But you can reactivate the iphone 5. Your equipment is not tied to the phone in use. But like I said you will still have to make the payments on the s5.

Find My iPhone is good for misplaced iPhone but not good for thief and it was never meant to be.
You chance of getting it back is very small.
There are a few things you can try.
Try remote lock/wipe your iPhone through Find My iPhone.

You can report to the police, cell carrier (expensive cell charges for international calls, roaming etc)
Change all the passwords used in iPhone: Apple ID, E-mail, Bank Account ....

I deleted iTunes when it said "iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer"and now it wont let me install it again and keeps saying "itunes cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet "

iTunes told me to delete my backup folder when I was having problems syncing my phone to my computer. After that it wouldn't work at all. After trying and trying I deleted iTunes when it said "iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer"and now it wont let me install it again and keeps saying "itunes cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet ". What the **** itunes? Nothing is working!!
I wanted to update my iTunes so I could sync my phone to my computer and update my phones software so I can use the latest apps that need a 4.2 or higher.
This is not fun for me so if anyone knows what I can do to fix this please help. Is it possible to download the "cabinent file" with the lastest iTunes?

My phone is the iPhone4 and my computer is a Windows Vista

I doubt that corrupt files are the problem. It is more likely a space or permissions issue. Is the hard-drive on which iTunes is stored close to capacity? Do you (or the particular user profile you have logged on with) have the requisite permissions to save to that drive?
Otherwise, do you get an error code? This might point us in the right direction.

Back up iPhone 4 to new iMac without deleting iMac's current data

I have an iPhone 4 which was originally synced to another mac.
And I have a new iMac I've been using with iTunes, adding new photos, music, etc.
So, my files on iPhone and iMac are different.
I've never synced these two before.
Is there a way to "consolidate" everything to the iMac?
I would like to know how I can back up my iPhone 4 to the iMac (with exisiting data on iTunes) because when I connect it to computer, it prompts the "delete and sync" option.... which I don't want to do.
Also, I'm especially interested in backing up Notes and Messages. And ultimately, upgrade to iOS5 (and restore the notes, etc. back to iPhone).

Yeah, I understand I syncs only with one iTunes library.
So how can import all my iPhone's info (messages, photos, notes) to my computer and add them to iTunes? I want to back up everything before updating to iOS5.

ITunes can't back up iPhone to iCloud

I don't understand. If I'm NOT backing up iPhone to my computer, but instead want to back it up to iCloud, why do I get a message in itunes that says "iTunes could not back up the iPhone because not enough free space available on this computer.
But I'm backing up to iCloud just for that reason, because I know I don't have enough space on my computer. If I did, I'd back up my iPhone to my computer so I have control of it, not the Cloud. But I have no choice for a backup.
Do I not NEED iTunes to back up to iCloud? Do I just back it up via my iPhone??

You can move your /Home/Music/iTunes folder to the external drive. Then hold down the OPTION key while starting iTunes. In the file dialog locate the /Music/iTunes/ folder on the external drive and click on the Open button. iTunes will now use the library on the external drive. Not exactly, since iOS devices back up to either iTunes on your computer or to iCloud....depending on how you have things set up.
If the iPhone backs up to iTunes.....AND.....you have Time Machine set up to backup your Mac to the Time Capsule, then the iPhone backup data in iTunes is backed up to the Time Capsule. So, you could say that an iPhone.....or any other iOS device.....can back up indirectly to the Time Capsule.
If you are asking if the iPhone can back up directly to the Time Capsule.....the answer would be no.

If you have synced your phone with a computer connect to that computer and you can back it up without the passcode. If you have not synced to a computer there is no way to recover data without the passcode.

On september I found an Iphone 4, with an Orange Sim card into the water at Cala Macarrella, Menorca.
I did call Orange Spain, I sent an email to Orange Uk with the phone data and my contacts in order to give back the iphone to the owner but I did not succeeded. I went to an Apple Genius bar in Milan, they checked the iphone and they told me that they have the contacts of the owner but for the privacy policy they could not give me the data. I was told also that the owner subscribed an Apple care protection plan.
I suggested Apple to send my contacts to the owner but this also was not possible. The last chance they give me was to call the Apple care center.
I did call 3 times but I was not able to speck with an operator (maybe the option 6 of the calling sequence is not interesting for Apple).
I hope that the guy who lost the iphone read this message.
