S6 IPSec Service Data Storage and WiFi Calling

Hi,
Can any other S6 owners tell me the storage size of the IPSec Service application.
Then can you tell me if you have wifi calling enabled.
I am getting the run around between EE and Samsung as I think there is a data leak in the wifi calling.
My IPSec Service application is taking up 5.16GB and there is no way to clean this other than a phone reset.
Cheers
Ian

I have the same issue. Only 1.6gb though. I heard this is some sort of memory leak and 5.1.1 should fix this issue. But being EE and a Samsung device, who knows when the update will arrive!

  • HT4974 Changing service data storage to other server with RAID

We have an mac mini server 10.7.5 and an xserve with 10.5.8. with RAID. We want to change the service data storage location from the Lion server to the RAID of the xserve (Leopard). But this share is not available in the list. Any suggestions?

Very late but these might help...I hope you've moved on from the xserve by now though: Mac Pro is a beast!

  • Data storage and read

    Hello all,
I got a problem in data storage and read. I used the combination of "Open data storage", "Write data" and "Close data storage" to store some data as an array as shown below.
And used the inverted combination to read data as shown below:
As shown the data file is in tdm form. This works fine in my computer, both the VI and the stand alone application. However when I run the stand alone application in a target pc, the storage file can't be generated!
I don't know if it's the problem of my code or the problem of the target pc, since the target pc has tiny memory card with few drivers installed. I'm wondering if anybody could help me fix this problem. If there's other way I can store and read the file? or if I can make the target pc generate the tdm file.
    Thanks!
    Chao
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

What error is being presented when the file isn't being generated?  Is it an error with permissions?  Or an error with a folder not existing?  Can you manually make a file in the location where you expect the file to be generated?

  • TS4006 can this find my iPhone app work if you are not connected to cellular data network and wifi

can this app work without cellular data network and wifi, if yes then how exactly this work ?

To use Find my iPhone you have to set it up on your iOS device before you lose it. Your device also needs to have iOS 5, be switched on and connected to wi-fi/3G.

  • HT4974 How can I select a remote volume (NAS) as my service data storage volume?

    Hi everyone,
I have been struggling with the following:
I have Mac OS X Server (the Mountain Lion add-on) running on a Mac Mini (2009). Ever since the upgrade to Mountain Lion Server (10.8.2) I have been wanting to store the Service Data on my Synology DS412+ NAS. The reasons for this are: greater storage capacity, speed (my NAS is fast) and reliability through RAID5.
The instructions provided by Apple Support point towards the Server App: go to Hardware > Server > Settings > Service Data (click Edit) and select the volume where you want to store your Service Data. However, this only lets me select the volume(s) of my Mac Mini or USB-connected volumes (if present). I would like to select a network share on my NAS, but mounted network volumes do not show up in the list.
FYI, I have connected my NAS to the LDAP service running on Mac Mini Server, so all users have access to it based on their network accounts.
I hope someone has pointers or even conclusive advice how to go about. Many thanks in advance.
    Jannem

Works only when the volume is mounted as iSCSI target :

  • Mobile app based on web service data control and VO with VC runtime error

    Hi,
    Jdev 11.1.2.3.0 + mobile extension.
    Windows 7, 64 bit.
Reproduceable with Android emulator but not on iOS and iOS emulator.
I can not test on real Android device because we do not have it in our office.
So I don't know wether this issue is related to android emulator only or to android in general.
Also not reproduceable by Oracle support.
I have a VO "Employees" with a VC "department_id = :departmentIdVariable" and exposed the find method for this VO via service interface in AM.
    (see demo video from https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/developing_with_oracle_adf_mobile?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook).
In a ADF mobile app I create a parameter form and amx:listView like demoed in the mentioned video.
Whenever I test this app on android emulator I get the error below.
Exact the same page used in a second feature works fine.
I found out that the problem only occures on the first attept (this means when I open the page on the second feature first then this will fail and the subsequent call of the first page will be successfull).
The problem does not occure when the web service data control does not contain a method based on VC with bind variable.

Does anyone has seen the above error ?
I have recreated the model and mobile app more than 20 times, re-installed Jdev, re-created Jdev settings (integrated WLS & Co), ran the web services on a different machine.
On my site this problem is 100% reproduceable with android emulator.
    regards
    Peter

Hi, Peter, this could be an issue with proxy server setting. Are you behind a firewall when you test this?
iOS simulator would use Mac's proxy setting. Android Emulator has its own proxy setup - it's a bit complicated to get to and varies based on the Android emulator you are using. For 4.1 emulator (you should always use 4.x or above emulators), you would need to go into the emulator itself, and go to settings - Wireless & Networks - click More... - Mobile Networks - Access Point Names. You should see an Access point used by the emulator to simulate network connection. Mine says "T-Mobile US". You click on it, and then you can select the proxy attribute and set it according to your office's settings.
    Hope that resolves the issue.
    Thanks,

  • Difference between Service data objects and process data object

    Hi
Can anybody tell me what is the difference between SDO (Service Data Objects) & PDO (Process Data Objects).I am using 2 port PCI-CAN series 2 card.
If anybody knows the answer then please reply.
    Thanking You

    Hi,
See the online help file from our NI CANopen Library for LabVIEW for some basic informations about SDOs and PDOs.
More information should be available from the web.

  • Data storage and retrieval

I am working on a project that requires the storage and retrieval of about 70 unique values per class. There are also about 60 different instances of this class- all with 70 unique values.
For security reasons, I am reluctant to use a separate database to retrieve and store these values and have opted for Collections, using Hashmaps or Treemaps to store and retrieve. Is this the only way forward?
Have been working on Java for only 18 months so still a bit green. Any guidance would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I do need persistant variables and a database is certainly the tidiest option however, the data security required is not only to preserve the data integrity but it is also of significant commercial worth, hence the attraction of going down the hashmaps/treemaps route. The aim is to deploy the software without needing to reference an external or local database.
I'll do a bit more research into database security before scrapping the idea altogether.
    Thanks

  • IOS 9 Public beta and Wifi Calling

Posting to see if anyone is having the same issue, when receiving calls whilst on WiFi calling it doesn't ring, I get a call failed message and then a message informing me of a missed call, without my phone ringing.
On the callers end it rings once apparently and goes directly to voicemail.

It's a beta don't expect it not to have issues.

  • Infinity and Wifi Calling on Orange

Has anybody else had issues with Wifi calling on Infinity? Using Blackberry Bold 9900 on Orange/EE. No problems before upgrade.

Yes I was on ADSL before and yes it was with BT.  The router was a Zyxel rather than a BT one.   I've tried all week with wifi calling and it is certainly not usable, because of break-up of speech.
I only got wifi calling on this Blackberry when they upgraded the software to 7.1 a few months ago, and it has been a revolution in mobile reception at home, which used to be very dodgy.
The download speed of web pages onto the phone through the wifi connection is excellent, because I can do that just fine with the mobile phone connection turned off and only the wifi connection live.

Your device does not automatically connect to WiFi when you are in an area with Wi-Fi, you must change it. Also, the data is listed separately. You can view your data usage by signing into your My Verizon and click data usage.

  • Data storage and aggregation levels

    Hi,
I want to know, in facts and dimensions, where is data stored? Is it on multiple levels of aggregation? Or it does not depend from aggregation and it is stored at the lowest level?
    Thank you.

    hi,
It is not stored as aggregations, the data is stored as de-normalised format and that data is picked up by BI server and process the data accordingly applying the conditions and coming to aggregations it will push down the functions applied on that to lower level.
    hope it clears your doubt.
