S6 Notification Sound problems (anyone else having them?), and other ?s

First off, I love my new S6 and remain very happy as I get to know the ins and outs. However, I have come up with a few problems and I'm hoping others may know the answers (I cannot find anything online).
1. The biggest problem is that the different notifications for my contacts are not working. The sounds are on the phone and are selected from the list of possible sounds. However, whenever anyone with a contact-specific ringtone or message notification contacts me, all I get is the default ring/sound. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
2. This phone uses the same green LED for everything. Is there a way to change this? My old galaxy (S3) used a blue LED for phone calls/messages/texts, a green LED for Facebook notifications/messages, etc.
3. Is there a setting to scroll through app screens (or the front screens) in a loop? It's a petty complaint for certain, but I do miss the convenience of getting from Amazon to Zedge with one page turn vs having to flip through the entire alphabet.
4. On Day 2 my lock screen decided to stay unlocked (meaning-it only required the default swipe). All of the settings indicated it was set for "pattern" but it didn't ever need the pattern. Restarting the phone put the pattern back in place, but only for a couple of times, then it went back to the default swipe. I tried this twice. I turned off the phone and left it off for 20 minutes, and haven't had a problem since, but I am adding it to this list of questions because a coworker is still experiencing this problem (powering off did not fix his problem).

I, too, am having difficult is with my Galaxy S6 contact specific message tone as well as vibration pattern. I have multiple LED colors for different items. I use the fingerprint for security and no issues there. Sure hope Verizon comes out with an answer soon. Don't like the Samsung message app, but may be forced to use it, so I can signify different vibrations/tones.

I too can't send emails from iCloud. My MacBook Pro apple mail is telling me my password is incorrect (it isn't). The outbox has disappeared. My iPhone mail inbox suddenly contains blank emails with dates like 1970. My other non-apple email accounts are working fine on the same devices. Did you find any solution??

N82 problems... anyone else having them?

I love this phone to death (I only wish it had a slightly bigger screen with touchscreen capability but oh well) but am having some issues:
*Almost every time I play a video using Smart Movie Player the phone freezes completely, requiring taking the battery out and in and then restarting the phone.
*Random reboots when web browsing (maybe related to Wi-FI).
*Reboot caused by putting heaphones/TV-Out jack in the socket.
The WI-Fi and headphones bugs are irritating but I can live with them providing they are fixed in some new firmware, but the video freezing issue is a major hindrance! Has anyone else experienced this (or any other bugs), and have any ideas on how to sort it out... maybe a complete factory reset of the phone could help? When is the next firmware update due?

I don't have the wi-fi problem, i've had the phone for nearly a month and it's yet to reboot once, I use wi-fi a lot too.
Mine has never crashed when using headphones or tv out.
Are you using nokia's video player or smartmovie?
I've not had any issue's with nokia's and if you are having problems with smartmovie you need to contact it's developer for support.
A full reset may cure your issues, it's worth a try.
There is no news on a firmware update yet as there hasn't been many overall problems with the N82. We should see an update within the next few months that adds flash light 3 support.
If your phone is network branded then this could be the cause of the troubles.

If it's happening on all apps that you've downloaded, but not on the Apple built-in apps, then try downloading any free app as that appears to reset something - you can then re-try your apps, and you can delete the free app.
If it's only happening on one or two apps then try closing them completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with any of the affected apps 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the apps to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Anyone else having Safari and iCloud problems with 10.7.2 on iMac?

After upgrading to 10.7.2, I'm having intermittent problems with Safari not connecting to websites. Also, iCloud crashes and hangs when I select the address book. This is on a brand new iMac 2.5 core i5 with no third party web software or plugins (flash, etc.).
Apple care hasn't been much help to me with some other issues I've had, so I thought I'd seek out answers here.

I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions v2.0. I have my computer authorized. Whenever I try to download a book from the local library, it states "Error! Check Activation." I contacted customer support, they suggested that I remove the program and then reinstall, which I did....Same error. I also downloaded 4.0 and 3.0 and after migration, it says it has encountered a prob and must shut. I can not seem to find anything on the website relating to this issue.

Judging by the number of other threads on this, yes many people have been having Yahoo mail issues with push, and it appears to be on Yahoo's side, not Apple's.

A reset should fix it:
Double click the Home button. Slide up with one finger on ALL your apps to close them.
Then, Press the Sleep/Wake button + Home button and hold 15 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.
This will reset your device without erasing data, apps or settings.

You may have inadvertently installed adware. You do not need to download or install anything to fix it. It ought not to be related to any Apple security update.

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.
If you've gone through ALL the troubleshooting steps and you're still having the problem, then you most likely have a hardware issue and will need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

So, this is a problem because when Siri attempts to send iMessages to those without iPhones it, of course, fails.
For example, if I say to Siri, "Tell my mother 'Hello.'" It will try to send an iMessage. My mother has an Android phone, so the iMessage just gets lost in cyberspace.
I use Siri quite often, this problem only occured about two hours ago.
Can anyone help me with this?

The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

Exchange email will not work after IOS 5.1 update. Anyone else having same problem. Its been three days now I cannot get mail.

I'm having the same issues, except only one of my Exchange accounts took a dive after upgrading to iOS 5.1. My Gmail account (set up as Exchange) works flawlessly but my native Exchange account (work e-mail) stopped working after the update.
Post update to 5.1: (work Exchange account) I could view my inbox and view individuals emails in the inbox, but I was unable to send any emails. Mail started asking for my password after the update (for the affected Exchange account) but once entered, it failed to verify.
I completley removed the Exchange account and rentered all the account settings but again, failure to verify any information. I was hoping my password might have changed but it did not. Also, maybe the IT guy at the office (not very bright) changed some settings but the only difference is the new iOS update.
And while playing with the iPhone trying to make it work again, I noticed something really weird. Old emails (2-3 weeks) from multiple email accounts to include the inop Exchange account started showing up again on the pull down notification menu. I would clear these out of the notificaion menu but they always kept reapearing; very strange.
