S6000 Idea Tab is not charging

My idea tab S6000 will not continuously charge. It will suddenly stop charging. I have to position cord in order for charging to continue. At best, i can get it to charge up to 38%. I suspect i need to have port replaced. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Yoga 2 pro Android tab battery not charging

Hi I have two yoga tabs yoga 2 pro and I am facing same kind of battery issues in that Light is not blinking in off mode while charging no battery indication is seen on screen while charging in off mode When Charger is plugged in in off mode to tab lenevo logo comes and then there is a flash on the screen and nothing indicates as it is being charged Otg is no more working Charging goes very slow and is not more than 80% after 10 hours charge and I don't know weather one should charge for that long or not I have come to conclusion that to both my tab it happened after a pendrive was inserted and removed from it without checking notification for safety removing pendrive Now please somebody tell me that it is a hardware fault or software issue that can be cured with update Lenovo plans to do or a coming rom update can solve the problem Please share your views on above facts

Yah! I have the same problem after using OTG. I guess it is hardware problem but unfortunately i bought it in US and now i'm living in Viet Nam. This product doesn't have international warranty so LENOVO! Please support us to send it to us that you should replace new mainboard or do something like that to support us. Dear Abhinav,I found that we have to waste the battery and recharge the tablet. It will be refill 80% in 4 hours. However we couldn't use OTG or connect to PC anymore.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

I have Idea S6000 Android tab in which i need to install Gujrati fonts.. but someone told me that if i do rooting then warranty will be void so can someone suggest a way to get fonts installed in tab without rooting of tabs.

I’m sorry to inform you that the language other than the default languages installed in the Tablet cannot be installed to display all the options and instructions in the Tablet. Only the Keyboard can be installed in the android device to type customize language. Below is the link to download the keyboard layout for the same and let me inform you that by performing rooting will VOID the warranty:

IDEA TAB S6000, can't install app (incompatible)

Hi there, help needed please to install some apps on my new idea tab s6000, i tried the installation severally from google play market but complain of incompatible with this tablet.

The S6000 models that don't have 3G also lack GPS, so any app that requires GPS will show as incompatible. Many of these will likely work anyways if you can find the apks outside of the Play Store and side-load them.

This also happened when I tried to charge my iphone in my car with an adaptor which used to work before too. Any ideas on why my phone is suddenly not charging anymore??

I removed the AMDS as part of the instructions for completely removing itunes. Nothing changed unfortunately. I don't understand why it is happening!
I have already checked for lint, etc as you suggested, but don't have another USB cable on me at the moment. I'll be returning home tomorrow so will try then, but I would have thought the cable was fine as it still charges the phone through an AC adaptor fine. Thanks for the suggestions!

Clean iPhone charging port with clean dry toothbrush. If there is Warranty or AppleCare, make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution. If no coverage, try cleaning again with small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol. If all it needs is battery, battery replacement program with Apple is $80. Replacement iPhone with Apple is $199 for perfect iPhone 4S exactly like yours. Otherwise replacement parts to consider are battery and charging port assembly with flex cable.
