S6000L Very Slow Charging

My new S6000L is currently taking its second charge.  It's taking HOURS and it's only at 30%.  The initial charge from out of the box took a few hours, but this is far longer.
I've tried turning it off during charge and I get the battery-only display, but it makes little difference.
Version of Android is stock 4.2.2.
Any ideas?

I’m sorry to hear that your S6000L Tablet is not charging as expected and the process of charging is very slow, I suggest you to backup the data in the tablet and perform reset by selecting the option in Settings>Backup & reset>Factory Data Reset, if the issue persists even after resetting the Table the issue may be hardware related; I suggest you to contact the nearest authorized service center if you face any kind of issue or contact our Technical Support.

    How are you charging it? Are you using the included cable and charger? Are you plugging it into the wall? Or are you charging it from the USB port on a computer? What troubleshooting steps have you taken?
    The phone will charge best using the included cable and charger plugged into a wall outlet. If that's what you're doing and you're still having problems, you should try a couple of things. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the apple appears? Try a different cable. Try a different charger. Try a different outlet.
    If everything fails, make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.

    It is always recommended that BlackBerry users use BlackBerry branded accessories that come with the device. You should use the BlackBerry charger that came with the device. When charging a BlackBerry smartphone (Z30, Passport, Leap etc) with large batteries, it may take a while to fully charge the battery. Basically bigger batteries take longer to charge. I would say 8 hours to fully charge a BlackBerry Z30 is about right. For me personally I would leave my BlackBerry device charging longer.

  • M9 Very Slow Charging Even With Quick Charge 2.0 Chargers

    I have a continuing problem with very slow charging even with Quick Charge 2.0 chargers. For example last night I had the M9 plugged into a fast charger for over 12 hrs and it went from 5% battery to 87%.   I checked  the Settings - Battery usage history - and it displays "NO APPLICATIONS FOUND" - very strange...
    Something is very wrong. I have multiple 2 amp and quick chargers all with poor charging times. I have tried each of these:

    The Ampere app displays varying charger power from 15 mA to 880 mA so I don't think it is accurate.
    Testing with multiple chargers point to the problem in the M9. This is maddening. Seriously considering returning the M9.

    i noticed that charging time for z2 is very slow !! anybody has the same ? any suggestions? i am using the original cable which comes out of the box .    

    Hi, this could be because it is a new phone/battery......if mine is sitting at say 15% it does take a good few hours to get up to 100%..... Do you leave the phone switched on during charging...if so check what apps etc are using the most power....top of the list should be your screen but look for abnormally high usage from an app etc Hope this helps

  • 4S has a very slow charge.

    Ive read many posts about phone having a slow charge. I replaced my 4S last Monday and I am having the same problem but worse. I've use several different chargers... All wall outlet chargers. I close all apps n try turning the phone completely off. I try to keep it fully charged as much as possible. I guess not having my charger yesterday made me realize how bad it is. I went to sleep around 11pm and turned my phone off and plugged it in over night. At that time I had 18% when I got up at 5am after 6hrs of charging I had 76%. This phone is only a week n a half old n it's aggravating the **** out of me. Should I get a new battery or could there b something else wrong with it????

    Previous kitkat was good I think.

  • IPhone 5 with iOS 7 .. very slow charge

    Since I upgraded my iphone 5 to iOS 7 .. charging time is significantly increased. Meaning it takes forever to charge from 10% to even 50%
    when my iphone is on charge, and I'm reading a book, it gets stuck on the same number. Meaning if I charge my phone while it was on 48% .. when I use it lightly .. it gets stuck on 48% and never goes up!
    Also, when I use the phone, the battery drains in a very fast pace! even though I closed all the locations services, background refresh app setting, and the (so called) 3D moving apps or background screen.
    when I was on iOS 6 yesterday, everything seems to be fine. Just today, when I upgraded to iOS 7, this thing happened to me.
    I'm using the original charger.
    Any help?

    It has been my experience when using phone there is a slower loss of power when I am connected to a stable / private wifi as oppose to public wifi. In addition when I am out and am using solely my phone carrier satellite connection the battery is consumed quickly. To avoid slow down I clear all. Multitask trays ever hour and if using a large app only keep that app open and close it when I'm done.
    As for recharging I find that connecting to private wifi and leave it connected to electrical outlet For at least 16 hrs 3 times a week reinforces charge when I'm out
    Last when u are out and not using phone put it on what I call sleep mode by pressing top button to dim screen this seems to conserve power as well
    I also want to share a tip about charging devices in your car. Make sure you unplug charger when u are not driving or needing it because the auto outlet current drains car battery especially in extreme temperature changes.

  • Z2 very slow charging after upgrading to lollipop ?

    After i upgraded my mobile from kitkat to lollipop android i charged my mobile .. from 5% to 70 % it took over 6 hours !!!!
    Before updating the maximum time was 3hours from 1to 100%
    P.S : the same cable and chager is present .. Nothing new used !!!
    please explain what happened after this update ??

    Not sure what we can do to help but maybe it's just that you have upgraded and it may take time to settle down - You could try performing a system repair
    Performing a system repair using PC Companion will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin
    Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
    Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
    If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

    iPad air. After 6.5hrs only up to 80% charge, (not being used whilst charging) and this is with the larger ipad air charger. Also when charging and using, I.e watching a movie, the battery percentage will drop. Is this normal?

    That sounds about right.
    My iPad 3 takes about 6-7 hours to charge from when the battery icompletely discharges.

  • Ipad4 very slow charging

    With my new ipad plugged in and downloading podcasts the battery level goes down.
    Just browsing and it barely holds steady.
    Doing nothing then it does recharge overnight.
    Surely this isn't normal?
    Certainly my original iPad's battery was better than this.

    Sometimes using an iPad while its charging is not a good idea as it will take longer to charge ! If you think it might be the charging cable , you can buy a new one ! Note * Make sure the charger is pluged in fully* ! ALSO ..... Try using a docking station to charge your device ! Hope these suggestions help !

  • Very very slow charging

    Hi
    It is about 1 months that I bought my xperia z2 mobile and I was so happy with that. But today when I wanted to charge the phone, it lasted about 3 hours to reach to 23%!! It used to take this amount of time for full charging. I used wall charger and also pc charging.
    Can any software problem lead to this issue? What if there is a problem with the phone? can it get fixed?

    If I understand you correctly, you charged the phone for 3 hours and it only reached 23%? Are you charging the phone with a Sony original charger? You can also check the battery usage via Settings > Power management > Battery usage, to see if there are any function that drags a lot of battery.
