S650 no application list icon icon

I just got S650 phone and it doesn't have application list icon anywhere on the home screen !? is this normal all the apps are just listed on the home screen and I can't seem to remove them from there either if I try to edit the icons draging the app icon to the trash bin uninstalls it not just removing it from the homescreen.

Yes,It's normal.That's the Lenovo Vibe UI(launcher) and that is the stile(MIUI stile)of most chinese phones.

Lost application after moving Icon

I downloaded an application, used it several times then decided to move the Icon to the Home screen for easier acces. From there it was fine for a couple of days then the whole thing disappeared--no Icon or application. options don't reveal way to "show all". The application does appear in the applications list. any help appreciated.

Can I reverse the order of finder lists or icons?

Hello,
I am finding some problems with Lion that I never seemed to have with Snow Leopard and would very much appreciate someone's help.
To cut a long story short I want to reverse the order of the files in finder, either in list or icon view (or maybe any kind of view). At the moment they are in date created order, but I have also tried in name order and cannot see any way to reverse the order.
At present the are show the newest file first but I want to see them in oldest first as they always were for me in OSX 10.6
Also... in date created view they appear in groups (eg previous 7 days, previous 30 days) I have never seen this before and find it particulalry annoying. I'm sure some people love it but for me it is one of the things that I most hated about windows, but at least in Windows I found it easy to turn off (along with reversing order!). Can anyone tell me how to stop OSX from doing this?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're users here and don't speak for "Apple, Inc."
In Finder icon view, click the Arrange button and select which column you'd like to sort by.
In Finder list view, click the top header of any column to sort by that column. Clicking the same header again reverses the sort order (and the small 'arrow' at the end of the column name reverses direction too).
And using Finder, View, Customize Toolbar the Finder window toolbar can be customized to display icons only, text only or both, as well as adding additional icons to the default toolbar:

Specifically the small box near the pointing mouse or hand.

How to design List of icons as netbean's palette looks like

Hi All ...
I am new to swing, and I started develop a GUI using it.
I and using netbeans IDE(but codes the GUI manually), and I have seen that in the netbeans palette, containg swing widgets, is design some kind of combox which contain a List of icons(of the widgets type), so when clicking on the arrow the list of icons displayed
Is it as how I described it(Combobox with List...) ? If so how can I do such a thing?

Yes... I have already doning it for the last month,l I familiar for GUI design(Gtk, Winforms), but new to swing.
I don't think is a combobox(I said its look like), its more like expander container in Gtk.
I will appreciate if you could look it in the netbeans IDE

List Split icons

In dreamweaver CS6 - In the JQuery Mobile swatches, the List Split Icons are not displaying, even once data-split-icon is allocated. Anyone else having this issue?

and I was having an issue with the icons not displaying properly also.
Here is a snippet of code that does display the icons properly

the problem seems to be that the li element needs to have the data-icon property which adobe does recognize
also according to jQuery mobile for the latest stable release you can link the css and js files as follows

Changing a list's icon's size and position

Hi there!
I have been trying to follow this tutorial to add social media icons to my site:

I have managed to do this, however am now trying to rearrange it (I think its in a list format), so that the icons are vertically aligned, rather than horizontally.
I am also trying to change the size of them, preferably so that they resize according to the fluid grid layout that I am using.

Lost all application and file icons and more

Today i discovered that for some reason i could not drag files around on the desktop or moving them between folders. I used restarted the mac - nothing changed. I used OnyX to run all the maintenance tasks, repair prefs, clean caches, optimize system, etc... Onyx asked for system restart - which i did and now i have more problems than before.
after restart all the files on my desktop lost the application associations (ie icon changed from PDF icon to blank paper with folded corner). I opened the Applications folder to find that all the applications lost their correct icons and are now represented by a blue folder - all native osx applications, mail, safari, etc... as well as third-party apps. the only one that kept its icon correctly was Adobe Acrobat 7.0.
Dock lost all it's correct application icons and now just show folders and some gray question marks. Finder and Trash bin still have correct icons. Everything else is wrong. Question marked apps won;t open from dock... (these are mail, safari, and sherlock)
If i click on an application from applications folder (safari for example) it opens fine and does what it is supposed to do. Most other apps seem to still function.
Also stil have problem that files still could not be dragged around or moved around in Finder.
I'm running 10.2.8 on a G4 1.25dp tower that has been very stable for a long time. I have no idea what happened or how to fix.

I gave up fighting to figure out what was wrong with OS X. I just repartitioned the harddrive after backing up and re-installed the OS an applications.

Where is the Where use list picture icon for an event

We want to find where an event is used, but we can't see where use list picture icon in SM62. We are using BI7.0.
Any idea?

List of Icon Meanings

I really can't believe it is requiring asking a question but: where is a complete list of icons for iTunes for the Apps? I have googled, searched the forum, but nothing. I found the one on iTunes music (speaking of which I hope in the near future, the name iTunes is changed because it is no longer just about the tunes....).
Anyway, what does '!' in the circle mean next to an app? I would like the complete list as a reference guide.

5800 no applications show up on Application List (...

I noticed today that when I tap on the Installed apps. option under Application Manager (under Settings), the screen will go "blank" (no icons or info, just the background wallpaper) for about 3 seconds then return to the Application manager screen. Thus, I don't have access to the options menu for the installed applications list (I was to modify the navigation button settings on Gmail).
It appears that several other people with the Nokia 5800 have this problem but I haven't found a solution. How did others fix this problem?

Restart phone and try to open "installed apps", don't run anything else. If still not working then uninstall any recenctly istalled apps, go to main menu>apps folder>options>organise>(single tap particular app)>options>remove Then try "installed apps"

2 Applications lists in Finder Window

I've just noticed that there are now two Applications lists in my Finder window. Listed under Places with Desktop, and other usual sidebar items.

Do both Application icons take you to the same place?
You can drag items out of that list. You might want to do that to both, then drag a new one into the list.

Dashboard applications listed but not lauching

This generic application icon is found throughout the system...almost all of the utilites applications have this icon. applications will not open. Had done a few preference repairs and varifications. Then erased free space. The computer then was acting funny with the spot light function. The following day I noticed that iCal was not fully there in the dashboard and I restarted the computer. and it has all be down hill from there.

The generic icon has the ruler, paint brush and pencil that the appicaition store has--but has two black sheets of paper behind it.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that some of your applications are not appearing under Settings > Cellular on your iPhone so that you can restrict or allow use of cellular data. If you have some installed applications on your iPhone that are not showing here, the first troubleshooting step I would suggest would be to reset your iPhone. Please refer to the attached article for information on how to perform a reset.
