S90 Static noise during video recording

Everytime I do video recording on my S90, I can hear static noise during playback.
Does anyone else face this problem? Is this hardware or software related?

Update the S90 via OTA
Once that is done then try again. If problem persist then open dialer and press ####1111#.
In engineering mode, select back mic test in Item test. This will record via back mic and will playback. If you still hear static during this time then bring it to the service center.

  • "Noise" during video recording, normal?

Is it normal to hear a hissing/"noise" sound for lack of a better word during video recording on the ipod touch 4? I could be in a perfectly quiet room and I can still hear it. Is this normal or should I return it to a Apple store for another one? I ordered it online but figure going to the local store would be faster.

It has nothing to do with low light at least not in my case. I'm returning it to Apple, I think it's a bad speaker as I ran the memo app in a quiet room (Didn't say anything) and on playback it still made the sound (A shhhhhhhh sound)
Guess I got a bad one

  • N8 noise during video recording

When a  Video Recording I hear the noise, but when I play on computer then:
-> left channel noise + sound
-> right channel normal sound (no noise)
    Any solution?

Hey Pietras909, Welcome to the Nokia Forums!
Have you tried making a recording, covering the microphone and playing back the recording to see if it is still picking up noise?
The built in microphone must be damaged in some way, please take your phone to your local Nokia Care Point to repair your microphone in the N8.

  • IPhone 4 - Which microphone is used during video recording?

I was wondering if anyone knew which of the iPhone 4's microphones are used during video recording. I'm not completely sure but it seems like only the noise canceling microphone is used, whereas voice memos use the bottom microphone only.

Exactly correct. Why is was made this way, I have no clue.
I think both should be using the top mic rather then the bottom as that is were your hand usually is. I think it should be made an option.

  • Iphone shutdown during video recording

Hi folks! i've got several times a very strange problem during video recording. my iphone 4s (but it happened also to my brother iphone) shutting down during video recording giving the message about low battery.
to restart the iphone i need to connect to the battery charger but after the boot the battery is not drained. Today for example happened and the battery after the boot while connected to the battery charger was 53%.
As it happens also to by brother iphone 4s i don't think that it's an hardware problem, and the funny thing is that it happens in a random way. Some tims i'm able to register 1h of video without problems, other times 3m/5m  and the iphone shutdown.

This is happening with my Iphone 5 with latest iOS. I'll record video and it will rapidly discharge battery. If it shuts down and I plug it in two minutes later it will come back with over 50% battery.
I've drained it completely dead then charged it for at least 4 hours numerous times. I started a seperate discussion about this and my phone's horrible battery life in general.

during video recording the auto focus doesn't work automatically!i must have a tap on the display for to use the autofocus! Ihave an iphone 4s

I know.  Same issue here.  When I'm not recording but have the video camera on, the autofocus works fine.  As soon as I tap the record button and recording starts, the focus is locked until I tap on the screen to focus.  I haven't used the camera all that much because of this problem.

  • Turn off the vibration or message notification automatically during video recording.

Please add on mechanism to turn off the vibration or mute the message notification automatically during video recording, due to the motor vibration sound always reocrd into the video.

You could set your phone to silent  http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Software-Updates/Lollipop-New-Features/m-p/955490#U955490 It's not ideal but it does the trick.  I agree with you, I wish we had an option that if an app/game it's on immersive mode, like while using the camera, we had an option to deactivate the notifications popping and/or the notifications without having to set the phone to silent.

  • Z30 auto-focus during video recording after OS update 10.2.1.537

Why the autofocus doesn't work when using the BB video camera. It is strange that it will autofocus when it is not recording (video camera). It was not like that before the OS update 10.2.1...
When video recording moving persons or objects or even when u are moving the camera should autofocus automatically.

yeah. In other words manual focus during video recording only.

  • Disable Continuous Autofocus during Video Recording

Hi, is there a way to disable the continuous autofocus during video recording? The continous autofocus is very annoying during video recording as the video consistently appear out of focus when during refocusing. There are alot of situations where continuous focusing is not required.
Can we have a new video focusing mode where the camera will only refocus to an area that is tapped on the screen? This is a very basic feature that is available in almost all other smartphones. Without this focusing mode, the video recording of the Z1 is 99% unusable although the phone has a very good sensor. As the Z1 is Sony's flagship smartphone, I hope that you can add this simple feature as a software update asap. Thanks.

  • No audio during video recording

Recently I realize when I record videos with my iphone4, there's no audio when I play the videos I recorded.. Only a buzzing static noise but no audio was recorded.. Anybody else had the same issue?

Before you do that, I'd encourage you to download and install this BlackBerry-provided tool, and see if the hardware is truly an issue. Run the audio tests.

  • Vertical bars during video recording

    Hi,
I have seen a vertical bar while I was recording a video using the primary camera in my iPhone 5. It appeared twice on the same day, but didnt see it again after that. I have attached the screenshot from the video how it looks, I could see it during the play back too. Is this a hardware issue, though it never occured again, just wanted to check if anyone else had experienced similar issue.
The phone is now upgraded to ios 7.
I have also seen issues when i try to resume the display from standby, it filckers for a second and had to press the standby button again to resume.

  • Light always on during video recording E71

It is the year 2009 and still no thinking, why?
I'm sure a lot ask the same question, how to remove the light, perverts want to record people in secrets …… I do it in public and after asking.
The solution is buying a Sony video camera; it has a better zoom and quality, the mobile phone in not for such things.
My problem is with battery consumption,
Nokia please for the perverts make it a blink every 5 seconds, it will be give more attention to the people whom are recorded by perverts and it will use less battery. (for all devices please)
I have no problem with the sound, as I said I ask before taking pictures.
And is it possible to add and option turn strong light on during recording videos in dark for new firmware
    My device is E71 210.21.006
    Thanks in advance
    I'm so funny :manvery-happy
