The SA500 series comes with the ability to purchase a license upgrade for Trend Micro protect Links Gateway (Cloud Service).  It allows:
- Web Reputation Filtering (keeps clients off sites with malware and known virus distribution
- Content Filtering (by Category) set on the SA500 with up to 80 'categories' (dont have to program a list if URLs).
- EMAIL SPAM Prevention - Proxy your mail MX records to Trend and they remove SPAM before delivering.

    Hi,
    I have some problem with SPAM update.
    my SPAM version is 620/patch level is 23 on kernal 620.
    I was upgraded my kernal from 620 to 640.
    after that i downloaded the SPAM (SAPKD64023) from marketplace, and uncar that patch by using sapcar –xvf. After that I went to transaction SPAM and selected  option spam/saint update, then I am getting error called
    *“spam/asint update SAPKD62023 has already been imported successfully”
    *so please tell me how to update SPAM version from 620/23 to 640

  • EMail anti-virus & spam

    Hi,
    I'm currently using a third party mail server appliance and was wondering if anyone has setup a scenario where a seperate box is setup in front of the actual mail server utilizing ClamAV in OS X 10.4 server to scan virus and filter spam to clean anything suspicious. This is what I have in mind:
    ibound mail ----> OS 10.4 server (scan virus & spam) -----> Mail server
    If so, how does one go about configuring it. I'm new to the Unix side of things so any help or hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I'm not aware of anything that will make this easy for you. Perhaps some might suggest 3rd-party products, but in general they're meant to be the backend, not a front-end to something else.
    How about letting us know just what product will be the backend ?
    Here's one decent result from Google, however, ignore everything prior to
    "Postfix as a frontend" and from "sasl and tls" onward
    ie: beware the that section and the rest, as not all of it is entirely true of or necessary with the packages provided in 10.4 server.

  • Problem Applying SPAM KB70009

    Dear All,
    I have installed Solution Manager 4.0 SR1
    I have upgraded the Support Package to 23 ( from 20).
    Now I wish to apply BASIS Patch 70009. When I am applying the same it is asking for CRT i.e. SAPKITL416. I added the same. This CRT asks for SAPKW70009. I included that also. When I check the queue, it is also asking for SAPKIPYJ79. I included that also & started the import.
    It started normally but keeps running for more than 20 Hours &
    it is still running.
    Pls suggest what could be the problem & how to get rid of it. Shall I stop the transaction in between or wait for more time

    Before you kill off the session - there are a number of ways to check in on what is occuring with your support packs.  Check the process list on the server and look for a TP that is running.  If this is consuming resources, then your process is still running.  If it is not, then you probably have a stall somewhere.  Check the system log (SM21) and the logs for the Support Packs from SPAM to see where things are.  Additionally check the SLOG and ALOG in the /usr/sap/trans/logs to see what is going on.  You might also want to check SM51 to see if there are any hanging processes that the TP may be waiting on.
    I would also check to see if the Db has any table spaces maxed out and the server in general - it might be waiting for a table to extent or for a file system to free-up so it can write something.
    Check on that and let us all know what you see and if any errors pop-up.

  • Want to use OSX server as virus/spam filter for existing mail server.

    I have communigate pro completely configured and running on an iMac. hundreds of accounts, all working perfectly. The bummer is that the spam/virus filtering of Communigate Pro is weak, and I'd like to try the one built into my Xserve.
    Right now I have the domain company.com, with two A records for mail.company.com (the communigate pro server) and xserve.company.com (the xserve). And right now the MX record for company.com points to mail.company.com.
    I'd like to switch the MX record for company.com so that it points to xserve.company.com (which I know how to do). The xserve would then reject/delete/catch the spam/viruses and then forward on the remaining "good" messages to mail.company.com. The company.com clients would still get their mail from mail.company.com via Pop/Imap/Webmail.
    Any and all help is truly appreciated!!!

    imho... you may be over-complicating your system and adding additional points of failure to your architecture if you go this route.
    Communigate Pro allows you to run both SpamAssassin 3 and Clamd (the main antivirus/antispamspam tools provided in OSX Server) very easily on your CGPro box.
    MPP Free gives you a nice gui for configuring them.

  • Nokia Lumia 520 problem with internet

    Hey
    My girlfriend bought today a nokia lumia 520 from an internet shop.
    Now she is installing it and it seems to have a problem. 
    So our netwerk is 'telenet' where we have an abo wich include 1gb internet.
    She installed everything like it has to, APN and stuff all ok.
    Now she cannot connect to the 3 or 2g netwerk on her phone, it keeps saying we have to put 'roaming' on.
    If we do this, the internet goes, but i dont think that is how its supposed, maybe she will have to pay a lot if she does roaming. While we actually dont need it.
    Can you help us with this problem?

    Hello, can anybody help me with this issue? A few months ago my IP got listed on spam lists beacuse of viruses one of my computers send out... I removed the virus instal antivirus NOD and block port 25... Now my client is sending email to a new customer
    and he gets thist respond:

    Do you mean your client is list in the spam list by your Exchange Server?
    If so, I think the most efficient way is to contact the Exchange Administrator to check the spam list.

  • K8neo2 and ocz powerstream 520=problems

    just get msi, yesterday and it was working naturaly, today i was trying to put some order in the cables and plug the rest of the drives and it than came the problems!! turn the machine on and it works, but shutdown after a few seconds. I have ocz powerstream 520, msi k8n2, corsair bh5, aircooling, bios 151.
    tried with tt purepower and works!! what can i do to make ocz working with this board?

    did the "bypass" with one wire connecting the gnd with power and it seems that psu is working fine, and all leds are green

    You will have to pay 1000rs repairing charge for it. As my phone is in new condition and in warranty, there is no question of repairing my phone outside Nokia Care, i m in a fix right now!
    I will be complaining to Consumer Forum(www.wbconsumers.gov.in) against Both the Nokia Care Centers (where i have given my phone for inspection) & also Nokia India that is you for allowing these dishonest offices of Nokia Care to fool and harass common people.

  • Problems with spam filtering (specific and general)

    I I am getting messages coming through that are OBVIOUS spam (phishing attempts from [email protected] and 
    [email protected] saying the at the account was frozen). The address is wrong in the bottom, the domains are obviously wrong, and we've seen these repeatedly. And yet they keep coming through. I was actually told that because it was marked as
    NSPM by the filter it should have been delivered, but I'm appalled that it isn't getting marked as spam at all. 
    I was given a few options for creating manual rules (well, I can do that all day, but then why have a service?) and then reset my SPF and other content delivery conditions for future monitoring. But really what I want is a definite answer as to why something
    that any person can look at and recognize is not getting picked up. It's pretty embarrassing to have moved to Office 365 and had spam protection get notably worse than it was under Postini. And then to have support tell me that it got delivered because
    it was marked as NSPM ("I know it got marked that, but how in the world did that happen?"). We've been getting these off and on for months.
    My more general complaint is how spam whitelists and blacklists are maintained. They are one step up from having to manually edit text files (which would actually be easier to do since I could search those easily). Again- this can't be the best Microsoft
    has to offer, and given the global issue that spam has become I can't believe they aren't making this better more quickly.

  • Problem with spam filter on my macbook air mail app

    My spam filter just stopped working one day- lots of messages getting through.  I tried monkeying around with the preferences but have not seen any results.  I don't actually know what all the setting s mean so I have probably messed it up good.  Please- which settings should I have it set on to block obvious spam and "learn" what else I consider spam.  Thanks.

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
    Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
    Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them (command-C) to the Clipboard. Paste (command-V) into a reply to this message. 
    When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
    Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
    Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
    Still in the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports for crash reports related to the process. The report name starts with the name of the crashed process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.

  • Installing a SSD Samsung 830 Drive on my 520 - Problem with Recovery partition

    Hello,
    I am installing a 128GB Samsung 830 SSD on the W520, and i've put the original 50GB HDD on a HDD bay replacing the DVD/CD. bay.
    I did a system recovery on the HDD, to put it on its original states. Then I used Acronis True Image HD to clone the HDD to the SSD. I have the main partition on the SSD along with the Lenovo_recovery partition. I then install the SSD on the HD slot, and start the PC. No problem till there. It starts, and the machine works fine.
    I then do a system recovery from the HDD, and the recovery process goes to the end, but when the system restarts, I have a crash and it asks me to introduce the windows recovery disk. But I cannot starts anything anymore.
    If I reinstall the 500GB HDD, it start no problem.
    Any idea? Thank you for your help! 

    Really? Then how did you get the Samsung SSD in there to begin with. Look, you got two choices here: 1. Return the SSD for a refund, or 2. Find a Windoes PC & update the firmware.
    Why you'd purchase an SSD, to use in a Mac, whose firmware can only be updated using a Windows computer, makes no sense to me.
