Sabrix related configuration in SAP system

Can anyone let me know, what are the necessary configuration we need to do in SAP system to use Sbrix for the tax calculation?

Hi,
Logical port you can create in two ways.
One using LPCONFIG and other is using the SOAMANAGEr.
When you create a logical port using LPCONFIG you get the Customizing transport request which is client dependent. you can move this to any land scape. Only the thing we need to do change in the port is just accessing URL.
But the latest transaction SOAMANAGER does't give any transport number. I guess there should be a way for this too. If not then there is only one choice left is configure on each client.
Thanks,
Kishore.

  • MaxDB configuration file - SAP System Rename

    Hello,
I am new and tried to make a System Rename with SWPM.
    We have maxDB.
After a few steps the setup wants you to choose a maxDB configuration file which was used for installation of the source system.
Does anyone new where I can find this configuration file?
I tried a few cfg files but nothing was correct.
These files here are not correct, I tried.

  • Managing Consumer Proxies and related configuration in the System Landscape

    Hi,
I have successfully created and tested the Consumer proxy in our development server.
Scenario background: A Java Web Service has been developed and deployed on the Portal server which i am consuming in ECC6.0 in ABAP.
We would soon need to move it through the system landscape concerning which i have the following queries:
    1. The Consumer Proxy was created with the WSDL URL of the Development Portal server. I checked the Consumer proxy and did not find any signature of the WSDL URL in the Consumer proxy object generated. Can we therefore transport this consumer proxy to QA/Production without any issues?
    2. The Logical port configuration - What's the standard used in its maintenance across the landscape? Will we need to manually do it in every system? Can this also be made generic and transported across the landscape?
    regards

  • SCOT - How to send a mail from mail server to a SAP system

    Dear SAP colleagues,
With SCOT you can configure the SAPConnect administration.
You can easily configure your SAP system to allow the send of email from SAP to your mail server.
    Exemple :
    1. SID SAP : DL1
    2. Mail server : sn1exch.lec.local
    3. Target email : "myeamailaddress"
Send email process 01 : 1. DL1 ==> 2. Mail Server ==> 3. You read your email in your inbox "myeamailaddress"
    My problem :
From my inbox "myeamailaddress", I want to be able to send email to SAP (Dl1).
    Send email process 02 : 1. My inbox "myeamailaddress" ==> 2. Mail Server ==> 3. SAP (DL1).
    Question :
Do you have any help to configure it ?
Thanks in advance for your input.
    Best regards
    NetWeavAdmin

    Dear Olivier,
I do not have a specifi technical problem.
Let's summarize - my request concerns a SRM Workflow :
I am ordering an article. When the order is higher than 2'000 USD, I need to get the approval of my manager.
    That's the workflow.
    Workflow :
    1. I am user in DL1 SAP System.
        UserName : CharlesN
        In SU01,
        charles(a)green.com
    2. From DL1 SAP system, I order articles. The order total amount is higher than 2'000 USD.
In the workflow, an mail from DL1 is automatically send to my manager in his MS-Outook inbox.
        (manager(a)green.com)
    3. My manager reads the mail I have sent him and give his approvals by clicking on a approvals button.
When clicking the button, an mail must be automatically send from my manager MS-Outlook inbox
to DL1 to CharlesN inbox in SBWP in DL1 SAP system.
I have configured SCOT and read OSS Note 455140.
The SAPconnect virtual host is activated in DL1 (SICF).
I think a miss a step in our mail server to relay a mail from MS-Outlook to my SAP system.
    Any suggestion is welcome.

  • Hi, what's the impact of creating sites through configuration in Sap retail System?

    Hi Experts,
Business requirement is to have a production plant created through config in retail system and then ship the finished product to DC using STO's and Dc will be created as master data in retail system. please share your experience on business impact on this integartion of production plant and site in Retail?
    Thanks in Advance !

    Hi Govind,
In SAP Retail system, the options for creating plant from configuration is disabled. Means in SPRO screen, the execute button is not there for these options. So you will not be able to create plant through configuration in SAP Retail system where the retail switch is activated.
All the Retail related features will not support that plants.
To the best of my knowledge, Site created in Retail system using WB01 transactions can be used for production cycle to implement manufacturing scenario. Using article to article stock transfer you can transfer the stock of Finished Goods articles to trading articles and so on.
Various processes are available for this.
Let me know if you need any more information.

  • MM configurations for SAP AFS System

    Hi,
I'm working in MM configuration for SAP AFS production system, After uploading AFS Materials successfully and also created Purchase order to make a stock for that material, but PO created successfully but not able to do Goods receipts for created PO.
Errors : Purchase order xxxxx has no items,
Once created sales order for the same material again we got the error while GR but error is different.
GR is not possible for this PO number.
But material type is ROH , and its external procurement only.
Please let me know when we will get this type of errors.
    Thanks and regards
    Nisar.

    Hi Nasir;
    Some possible causes are;
    1.     Defining inbound delivery (Or kind of a confirmation) in the PO LI level and not maintaining the document subsequently
    2.     Not releasing the PO before the GRN
    3.     Creating the PO with a material with Grids (AFS Basic Data Screen) and not maintaining the grid value at item detail level of the PO

  • Move IDOC Configuration from one sap system to other sap system

    Hi All,
I have a scenario where in we need to move the SAP Configuration including Port, partner funtions details etc to other Sap system .As per my knowledge we have some SAP Standard tables which stores all the SAP Config data .So my thought is that if we move those table entries from sorce sap system to target sap system the task will be completed however i dont know which table entries i need to move.Kindly suggest.
    Venu

Many of these IDoc settings are not asking for transport requests, since they are considered master data (table class A). They are to be done directly in each system, because the are often linked to information that is or might be specific, like master data, logical system names, path names, etc...
Please also search for previous discussions, you are probably not the first one encountering this issue.

  • Configuration needed for non-SAP system as Idoc sender

    Hi,
We have a need to connect a non-SAP system which is sending an Idoc to XI. I understand that on the sender side, we need to create a tRFC port from the sender system with the server address of the Integration as the target host?
My question is on the PI side, are the configurations the same as  a SAP system, i.e. maintaining the port in IDX1 and getting the metadata in IDX2 or will it be different?

In PI, you will need to create a port in IDX1 with the same port name as the Idoc control record when the Idoc comes from the non SAP system.
As you cannot load the Idoc metdata from your actual source, you will need to copy the Idoc metadata from a actual SAP system or from the port of another SAP system in IDX2
Also, in the Business Service / System, make sure that the logical system name is maintained as per the Idoc control record of the source.

  • Visualizing SAP XI routing configuration across the system landscape

    Hi Experts
Iam facing some challenges in visualizing SAP XI routing configuration across the system landscape (Development, Quality, Production). Basically routing is based on a field (technical target system). Depending on the environment we have different target systems (different Mainframe DB that represent the same target system) configured.
Any word/excel/ppt/pdf templates or any comments that could help visualizing routing would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks! Santosh

    Hi Santhosh,
If you are worrieed about how your Business Systems will change when you move from Dev to QA to PROD for the Configuration in your ID, then the answer is simple.
You can create transport target for your Business System and so when you migrate the ID objects from dev to Qa and so on, the business Systems will be automatically replaced.

  • How to configure SAP CCM to a non SAP system

    Hi all,
What should be my landscape if we have to go for an external catalog linked to a non SAP system?
Our requirement is like this :
The customer has nonsap system and they want to go only for catalog content management only for vendors like DELL who maintain products of their own
(external catalogs). i-e., they will create PO from the nonSAP system and will send it to vendor selecting the products from the DELL's website.
How should we go with this? Will SAP CCM support this with XI.
Kindly explain me the following :
What should be my landscape and config?
    Can anyone explain please?
    Regards,
    Sridhar.

    Dear Sridhar,
Firstly - If you customer has a non SAP system and want to use SAP CCM this is not such a viable option as in any case the CCM requires a 640+ web application server to function, while it is an add on solution independant of SRM_SERVER, it is not independant of SAP WEBAS!
So, to use the SAP CCM the customer requires either a satellite location with a SAP WEBAS or their own to host this application. From here, the system would need to be configured and conform to the details in the OCI 4.0 documentation for either XML communication or OCI interface communication, so, I guess, at least from my perspective using a SAP CCM system in conjunction with an external ERP system is not the best option when it may be easier to integrate other catalog solutions into such a setup.

  • Configuring HP-Openview to monitor alerts of CCMS in SAP system via SOLMAN

    Hi All,
I need to configure CCMS in SOLMAN and then monitor the same alerts via HP-Openview because thats what is used in my company to monitor alerts.I have a few queries regarding the same:
    1. Is it possible to configure CCMS in SOLMAN and then monitor the same alerts via HP-Openview.
    2. How actually does HP-Openview work regarding picking up monitoring data from CCMS in SAP.
    3. Does it work like CCMS would be generating logs of the alerts and stored some where and we could congigure HP-OV to look for a keyword in the logfile by giving HP-OV the path of that logfile and as soon as it comes across that keyword it would generate an alert.
    4. Do we need any addon to be downloaded ( also want to know whether its free or cost is involved) and configured in SAP under CCMS that would help Hp-OV to detect alerts.
