Help needed.
I have a BlackBerry Z10 but have to switch back to my TORCH 9810.
I'm trying to find a way to switch back but BB Link won't work, Desktop Manager either.
Does anyone know how I could proceed, I kinow I'll lose a few things but I would like to transfer the most that I can.

I go to "tools" then popup blocker "exceptions". (I have the block popups checked.) When I enter "www.paypal.com" and add it in, everything is OK for about 12 hours (or less). I will check to see if the exception is still there within 12 hours and there is nothing in my exceptions. I have added as many as three exceptions entered only to have them all disappear within a few hours.
This severely cramps my attempt to print shipping labels on the PayPal website.
I thought this latest version of Firefox cured the issue, but it did not.Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" in "Clear Recent History" will remove exceptions that are stored in content-prefs.sqlite (site specific settings for zoom) and permissions.sqlite (exceptions for images, cookies, pop-ups, software; Tools > Page Info > Permissions) in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder].
The password exceptions (Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: Show Passwords) are also removed from signons.sqlite. -
I have a MacBook Pro that is telling me my startup disk is full. I left for 30 days and when I came back to use it, it tells me that the disk was full out of 500 GB. I don't have that much on it and it was perfectly fine when I left. I Verified the disk through disk utility and it told me it had issues so then I repaired it and it said everything is fine. It still says the hard drive is full. How do I fix this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For the past several days, I have been getting this message during backups:
Time Machine could not complete the back up. The backup disk image "Volumes/Data/bhoppy2's iMac.sparsebundle" could not be accessed (error-1). When I click on the 'help' icon on the message, it reverts to a blank page, and I cannot find anything online regarding the term 'sparsebundle.' In addition, I cannot access previous backups any longer.

hey good day. i recently made a back up on my phone. then i took some pictures and videos. i accidentally restored the phone. some pictures and videos including pictures from my third party application were all gone. can i still have those back?
No. If you restored the device to an older backup, then the device was brought back to that date and time, which was before those photos were taken. When you restored the device, it deleted everything off the phone and replaced it with the earlier information.

Why have iTunes charged my account when I've got a £20 voucher on my account and the. Icloud is not backing up daily automatically on my phone or ipad I have to select back up now each day manually why is it not doing when locked on wifi
Make sure your devices are also connected to external power or the wifi will disconnect after a few seconds. If they are and they still won't back up, it may be caused by a corrupt existing backup that needs to be deleted, or by data on your device that is causing the backup to fail. To troubleshoot these, try deleting your last iCloud backup (if you have one) by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, tap your device under Backups, then tap Delete Backup. Then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on and try backing up again.
If it still won't back up, you may have an app or something in your camera roll that is causing the backup to fail. To locate which one, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll) and try backing up again. If the backup is successful, then the camera roll and/or one of your apps is causing the backup to fail and you'll have to located by process of elimination. Turn the camera roll On and try backing up again. If it succeeds, turn some of your apps to On and try backing up again. If it succeeds again, turn some more apps to On then try again; repeat this process until it fails. Eventually you'll be able to locate the problem app and exclude it from your backup. -

New user to FCPx. I lost the timeline and footage I have been editing for 5 days. Can I go back 2 hours in FCPx to retrieve it or is it lost forever?What version are you using? Were you editing inside a project, or did you open a clip into the timeline?

I have just added a time machine to my iMac and it is saying it will take 11 days to do the first back up. Any ideas? It is only 355GB but is being backed up wirelessly but 11 days?

As LaPastenague says, use an ethernetcable for the initial backup.
And I will add; Since TimeMachine don't accept any interruptions during the initial backup, make a small backup first. That is - exclude a number of 'secundary' folders like music etc.
When you have one backup completed, TimeMachine is much more forgiving about interrupts, rebooting your Mac and so.

Why is connection to iTunes stores so temperamental? For the past 3 days I have been unable to download my newspaper subscription or use my iTunes account as the blue icon pops up and says there is no access and one just has to press OK. I took the iPad to an Apple Service
Shop and the assistant deleted my newsstand and reinstalled it which helped until the next day when exactly the same thing happened. I tried to do the same and eventually got back into the store after several hours trying. The same has happened today and it is getting tedious. I have used the iPad without trouble for three months but now this happens every day. The wireless connection is fine but if I close the device and come back later iTunes is unavailable. i am upgrading my 2008 macbook to an ssd drive and want to save my settings. how do i save then? I have my files backed up with time machine ,but dont want to restore all files ,as there might be some junk backed up too. Help will be appretiated
When you restore from a Time Machine back up you can pick and chose what is restored. It is not an all or nothing process. Nor do you have to do the partial restores all at the same time. If days after the first partial restore you find something else you want you can restore just that.

It is a sad day ..... DNS?DHCP update to DDNS

It is a sad day as I have shutdown one more Netware box. (One more Netware server to go) I have moved my DHCP/DNS to SLES10sp3 with OES2sp3. DHCP is working and I can see the addresses in the lease file. DNS is also resolving. The only issue is that DHCP is not updating DDNS. I have tried various setting and configs but the updates do not go thru. Do I need to configure the TSIG and DNS keys. The error I see in then messages log file is "NOTIFY failed: Not authoratitive for zone-in (NOTAUTH) Any ideas

Looks ok, besides the any statement for your DNS updates (as Massimo already pointed out).

One thing I'm not seeing is if/that you have set the 'Always update' option in the DHCP pool... by default I think this is set to never.
As a heads up, especially if you have a smaller subnet or many clients, have a look at this TID that mentions how to avoid handing out duplicate assignments to one client doing PXE boot and OS boot as default start-up routine. : DHCP handing out 2 IP addresses when PXE booting
We usually also install the dhcp service on another OES server which will be dormant (service shutdown) but can quickly be configured as default DHCP server for configured subnets if the one running DHCP goes down for a longer period. This 'dormant' dhcp OES server also syncs (via rsync) the lease file from the active server to itself, once a day, so that the given leases are there and current if ever needed. It's simpler than doing a fail-over setup and also all the active leases can be found in one place. Not suitable for bigger setups, but for what we run it works quite nicely.
The TSIG key is nice and useful to be able to see the lease info in the DNS-DHCP management tool... quite simple to setup to (does require OES2 SP3 and up). See Viewing Dynamic Leases Under The DNS/DHCP Management Console From OES 2
As last 'heads up'... when coming from NetWare, one option that I overlooked the first two times was option 15.... use that to hand out the dns search suffix to your clients (if not already done so).
There where some things that worked nicer with DHCP on NetWare (clustering being one of them)... but once you get to know DHCP on OES2 it's quite decent and fast (quicker and cleaner than on NetWare from what I've seen). :)

after upgrading to iOS8 my Exchange account has changed to an invalid address. I can change it but after a day or two it changes back to the invalid address. any help on this would be great. Other user on our exchange server that have iOS 7 or lower do not have this problem. All iOS 8 users in our company have this problem
have you deleted the account and re-added it? Have you done a reset or restore as outlined in the iPhone user guide? What troubleshooting have you done?

If the TV has a single minijack-type audio input, then the cable you need is a very standard one that can be found almost anywhere that cables for audio/home theatre systems are sold. In the old days it would be easy to point you towards the nearest Tandy, but as I understand it they're now gone. However, even supermarkets such as Tesco are likely to have something this basic!
No doubt Apple will release an Intel Core 2 Duo
version the day after I pick it up.
There's no doubt that at some point Apple will revise the range and make new mini's faster or more powerful - and it may be that it happens next week at the Macworld Expo. I'd bet there are a few people holding on for a few days to see if new minis are announced there, and you might want to do the same if it's of concern, but the existing models are plenty powerful, and more than enough for most user's needs.
