Safari 3.0.4 Beta message

I get the following message when I open Safari. "Safari 3.0.4 (v523.12.2) has not been tested with the plugin (null) (null) (v0.62). As a precaution, it has not been loaded. Please contact the plugin developer for further information." How do I respond to this?
When I open Safari the home page from the preferences does not open. How can this be corrected?

Hi,
Uninstall AcidSearch/SIMBL from your system.
Go to these 2 locations to see where AcidSearch/SIMBL is and move it onto your Desktop to deactivate them:
/Users/YourUsername/Library/InputManagers/
/Library/InputManagers/
Restart Safari to pick up the change.

Problems ive seen in safari 3.0.3 beta for windows

one is when highlighting words from left to right vice versa, from the begining of the word, it skips the first 2 or 3 letters before highligiting
for example
in IE or Firefox
if i hilight the word "discussions"
from the letter D to s
it would highlight discussions
but in safari 3.0.3 beta
if i was to do the same
"scussions" would be highlighted
so i have to try 2 or 3 times until it gets the whole word
2nd is draging flash or windows media
for example if i was to watch a video on youtube with safari the volume and seek slider will not move
another is with the flash i use the interactive weather maps on www.weather.com and with internet explorer i can drag the map with no problems. in safari 3.0.3 beta i can't move the map by dragging it i have to click the arrows up, down, left and right to move it.
also with google maps the same thing
last is the plug-in issue
plugins are very hard to work with in safari. when i click plugins under help it only shows what apple has installed with safari. no options on adding or removing plugins. also plugins so far arent supported from adobe for flash.
i like safari to a certain extent but hopefully apple can make safari worth replacing both Firefox and IE

After receiving the somewhat snarky reply above, I've gone back and worked on the backend of the specific page (http://mit.edu/biology) to correct as many validation errors as possible. Please don't again say "fix it so it validates" because the remaining errors relate to a separate server calendaring service which must have the URL formatted the way it is in order to work on our site. I have no control over that.
Plus, even though the former page configuration had a lot of validation errors, the png images which are supposed to appear above the blue nav line, and change with each refresh/reload, DID appear and were fine in Safari 2.x.
So, are there any other suggestions as to why the pngs don't show up in Safari 3.x, although they're fine in Firefox?

Using Safari to send HTML Mail message but Mail keeps dropping images?

I'd like to use Safari to send html Mail messages, but when I click on File>Mail Contents... Mail opens a new window but my graphics are gone. (I'm creating the html pages using MS Word for the Mac.) I get a flash of the graphics for a second, and then they are replaced by a little blue lego. Any ideas? I've tried all kinds of mail preferences but nothing seems to help.

Figured it out (at least one way): had to load the image to a server and then add the image as a link only (uncheck "save picture with document" box).

Means you have an incompatible Safari extension installed. Look in the /Home/Library/Safari/Extensions/ folder for the offending plug-in and delete it.

Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.

I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with a QuickTime program file there.
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "QuickTime" and then click "Repair".
Does the repair go through okay? If so, are you able to launch iTunes and/or Safari now?

I am getting occasional Safari is out of date messages but checking for new software says "up to date".

We have upgraded the OS once but have not received any notices of additional upgrades. So far I have not come across a way to update on my own.

I suspect this is the issue but wonder whether it is wise to upgrade my model:

You'll have to use the terminal/command line and follow these steps:
Make sure Messages is not running.
From the terminal (command line) convert the plist file to xml with the following command:
    plutil -convert xml1 ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iChat.plist
Next edit the file with TextEdit by running this from the terminal:
    open -e ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iChat.plist
Add this:
    <key>SavedChatsFolder</key>
    <key>/dev/null</key>
after the lines that read:
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
        <key>...SomeValue...</key>
    </dict>
    </plist>
Finally convert the plist file back to binary format with the following command:
    plutil -convert binary1 ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iChat.plist
Open Messages and test...

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

How do I uninstall Safari 3.1.2 Beta??

2 days ago, I had the latest update of Safari which happened to be 3.0.4 I believe. I downloaded and installed the beta and didn't like it much so I decided I wanted to revert back to the older version.
Searching online, people told me to use the installer to uninstall the beta but there was no uninstall option in the pkg when I open it. Therefore I just drug the Safari app to the trash can and emptied it hoping I could just run system update and get the lastest previous version of Safari and be ok. The only problem is, It still thinks Im using the beta
I managed to find version 2.01 off of my OSX install CD so I installed that to get back online. My system however still thought I was running 3.1 so it will not let me update or "downgrade" in the system's eyes back to 3.0.4. I decided to run the Beta install once again to see if there would be an "uninstall" option when I ran the installer again, but no avail. So I'm still using 3.1.2.
All I want to do is get back to 3.0. I have no clue how to uninstall this update.
Is there anyone who can help me?

Safari 3.04 is not a beta, so that's part of the problem. The most recent version is Safari 3.1.2, which is also not a beta, and that's the version you should be using.
You cannot go back to 3.0.x for Safari. What makes you believe you need to not use 3.1.2, since it provides numerous stability improvement for Java, JavaScript, and fixes security vulnerabilities as well?
