Firefox doesn't load any page after a while.
I'm having problem with firefox while surfing after a while. For example at first 15 minutes , there is no problem , after a while firefox doesnt load any page , i have to close it and reopen it again to make it work. While firefox is not loading , i can use other browsers as normal. It just doesn't load any page at all but the program itself responds so I can close it with X button. What could be the problem , I'm using latest firefox.
The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.
Try to decrease the value of the pref network.http.max-connections from 256 to 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.

Safari 5.1.2 won't load any page win7 bootcamp
I can't get Safari to load any pages whatsoever on my bootcamp partition running Windows 7. Firefox and IE9 work fine. I've uninstalled Safari and downloaded a fresh copy and still nothing. I can open Safari and change settings etc but no page will load. I've disabled both Windows Firewall and Avast shields and still nothing. I don't understand why other browsers will work but Safari won't. Any ideas?
Saying WONT WORK is a little.......

Firefox opens but doesn't load any page after clean installation
I uninstalled firefox (incl. preferences and profiles) and installed ff 3.6.13. At first launch and starting up, the ff icon appears in the dock but then the icon is replaced by another ff icon in a kind of never seen icon-replacement-animation in the dock. After that the three dialogs for import etc. appear, after that the icon-replacement-animation takes place in the dock again and then a browser window with two tabs is displayed but neither
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6.13/firstrun/
nor
http://en-US.start3.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
is loaded, just white pages without any error message. Trying to load any other page does the same, just a blank page.
I also started in safe mode and disabled and reset everything but nothing helps.
What's wrong?Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, one of your add-ons is the culprit.

Firefox opens but doesn't load any pages
Firefox will open but doesn't respond to any page directions. It's been removed a reintalled, data histories cleared, yet still nothing. IE works fine, so it's not a connection problem. The error consul is reporting chrome manifests as malfunctioning, but I don't know what this means. The program itself has not crashed.
Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, one of your add-ons is the culprit.

Safari 3.1.2 doesn't load certain pages
I can't see my pages from the Angelfire website in Safari. They all seem to load fine in Firefox. A page loads with the page title, the favicon, and then Angelfire's standard page-topper but nothing else. "View Source" shows all the code for the page but the page itself is not viewable.
As best I can tell it stops loading the page at a < noscript > </ noscript > section of code, which is an ad.
Sample pages:
http://www.angelfire.com/ia/jdmorrison/ends/iaends.html
http://www.angelfire.com/ia/jdmorrison/ends/ia96.html
http://www.angelfire.com/ia3/roadgeek/ia300.htmlI'm having the same problems as described above (Intel iMac 2.4 GHz, Safari 3.1.2).
I can see the pages linked above, but I'm having trouble seeing the following New Zealand quiz:
http://drakevanhellsing.angelfire.com/NewZealandtest.html
It's not the "noscript" tags that stop it. It's something in the following section of header code (stars are mine, replacing information you don't need to know for this):

I've tried executing Angelfire pages without this code, and they load up as you would expect them to in Safari, but without the Angelfire inserts (required to use their free service).
The testing I've done suggests that it is something to do with this particular line:
var cm_taxid = "/memberembedded";

I have a problem with safari. It doesn't load any sites, thing that browers like chrome do, so it isn't a problem related to internet connection. The loading always blocks at 1/10. I don't know what do to. I CAN'T use it. I have a macbook pro 15 retina late 2013 updated to Yosemite
1. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

My Safari won't load any page.
Hi. I'm amsuherdi1111.
Recently my safari won't load any page/website. My safari can start loading a website after I restart my mabook pro. And then after a day, the safari won't load any website again. What might cause this to happen? Another application that use internet like steam, mail, skype, etc. is working normally. Oh and it's not only safari. Google Chrome also have the same problem.
I'm very thankful if any of you who can solve this, this problem is killin' me XD1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the behest of a stranger. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
☞ Paste into the window of another application.
☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
☞ Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
5. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
6. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
Note: This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I don't necessarily agree with them.

In the last couple of weeks, Safari has fell apart on me. This is 2.0.3 on OS X 10.4.6.
At first, it merely crashed on me, usually just a few minutes after launch. I could restart, go to the same page, and things were fine until a few minutes later. Now, Safari can't load any page. It's stuck eternally contacting the host of my home page.
I re-applied the 10.4.6 combo updater last night and it didn't help. I used Pacifist to reinstall both the Safari application and the WebKit framework; didn't help.
Other applications are also malfunctioning now. Real Player can't check for updates and my VPN client is unable to make a connection to its server. Still other applications (notably Firefox and Camino) are OK.
Creating a new user account doesn't help. It exhibits the same problems.
Any suggestions?
This is the most recent crash log (though it hasn't actually crashed in a few days since it won't load pages).

Safari hangs/fails to load any page.
Hi,
Whenever I try to open any webpage, the Safari hangs/fails to load any page. The blue status bar doesn't progress and multi coloured wheel appears. Eventually I have to force quit the safari. I have installed firefox now in order to continue browsing but would like to return to safari at the earliest. Please help to fix this.I was wondering if Onyx would work if you're running OS 10.4. (I know this would mean downloading an earlier version of Onyx.) If it wouldn't work, then is there another fix for this problem? Safari does the beachball for me, not on every page, but on enough of them to be really annoying.

Safari 5.1.1 doesn't load webpages correctly
Every since updating yesterday to Safari 5.1.1 my webpages don't seem to be loading correctly. For instance, when loading NYTimes.com I get all of the text, but in each picture there is a "?". When clicking on an article, the webpage doesn't load correctly. See the picture below:
On some webpages, such as store.apple.com, it says the server cannot be found and doesn't load the page at all, but in Firefox it will fly right up. I know Apple provided the following solution (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3408), but none of these have worked. I have reset safari as well and that doesn't seem to work. This is also happening on my iPad as well. Is this something to do with the update to iOS5 and the new Safari browser or is it something on my end? I have owned many Apple products, but this is the first time something like this has happened on a repeated basis. Anyone have any ideas?but in each picture there is a "?"
Make sure: Display images when the page opens is selected in Safari / Preferences - Appearance
This is also happening on my iPad as well.
Tap Settings / Safari.
Clear the History, Cookies, and Cache. Restart the iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -
Safari doesn't load redirect page
Hi everybody,
I have an activation mail for subscribers.
It contains a link like :
http://oneSite/do/something?param=yeah&url=https%3a%2f%2fanotherSite/do/somethin g/else%3fparam1=tata%26param2=titi&trolollo=true
On ipad using safari (and only there) clicking it does the redirection (I can see the correct url on the new tab) but doesn't load the page. It stays blank.
It also appens on ipad simulator.
However using "open in a new tab" or pasting it in url bar works well they're not really userfriendly behaviors.
Has anyone an idea about a workaround ?Since it's both Macs ...
