Safari 4.1.2 and you tube are now complicated
After updating Safari 4.1.2,it was nice &everythings fine.Later,we try install mozilla 3.6.10,it works also fine.But we decided to keep one browser and Safari remain.After uninstalling last browser it happens that Safari can't watch news video,you tube video & all other viewing medias on net.But has posted like this:It needed an Adobe Flash Player or update 10 version to improved playback performance.So,it goes to site and performs it task.Cleaning,uninstalling old versions,verifying disk permissions,cleaning-up before restarting.But still unfortunate cannot view or watch any web videos.And still asking adobe and its update version.So,we install back the mozilla,Lucky guy!!!it can play web videos!!!But still Safari 4.1.2 asking for Adobe and its update!!!!We need help for this questions,Coz we still likeone browser alone and thats Safari.Thanks to all in advance.God Bless

The adobe flash player version is 10.1.583,its an update version.By the way,we take an advice to install back the Mozilla,First it didnt work to Safari it web videos,So we keep shut down for few hours.Viola!!!!!!its working both browser,Safari work to play any web video as well as Mozilla.But we are confusing if we UNINSTALL the Mozilla and it will came back the same behavior of Safari that didn't work any web watch medias coz we need enough to keep one browser and that's Safari.What shall we do?Thanks a lot.

I suddenly can,t access you tube videos via my iPad. Tried safari and you tube app on iPad. I get no videos and then it asks for you tube password. Not had that before.
Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Airplay with Netflix, Vimeo and You Tube
Installed and it was very sluggish. Could not get Netflix video running on the iPad to initiate on AppleTV, although audio streamed instantly. A Vimeo video appeared to need to download entirely to AppleTV rather than streaming. And a You Tube standard def video was terribly pixelated on the 43-inch plasma. AppleTV and iPad running on an Apple Airport home gigabit network and admitedly, DSL is a pretty standard 1.5mb/sec. Ideas?
Also, I realize I can initiate Netflix and You Tube just with AppleTV sans Airplay.Well, Airplay's strengths and limitations are becoming clearer today. It was not clear to me that Airplay is limited to video in the iTunes library only. I was hoping to wirelessly stream content from Safari, from Vimeo and even Hulu as well as Netflix, which, of course, can be accessed on Airplay directly. Firefox won't play fox tv show videos but will play msnbc and you tube videos what is going on?

As a matter of fact, the solution in your case is not an 'import' via the 'get photos and videos... from files or folders'.
It's a catalog conversion, which creates a new PSE12 version from your old one. This is done in the File menu, catalogs... option : the catalog manager. There is a 'convert' button which you use to search and convert catalogs of any older version (shortcut Ctrl Maj C).

Why did this pop up today?
Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for iCloud on a new iPhone.Turned on my Mac Pro a few minutes ago and I got the following "POP-UP" message.
" Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for iCloud on a new iPhone. " ( my iPhone is not new. )
" If you recently signed into "xxxxx iPhone" you can ignore this notification."
On the bottom of this pop-up window is an "OK" button. Well it's NOT "OK" No option is offered if it is not "OK".
I have made no changes to my iPhone whatsoever. Just normal use today. In my iCloud settings everything is turned off except sharing Contacts.
I'd suggest you log on to iCloud.com with your Apple ID, and then go to Settings and look in the "My Devices" settings for anything you don't recognize.
I just did this. All of the devices are iPhones, iPads, and Macintoshes that I own and am familiar with. -

There are a couple of possibilities that may apply to the email you have received regarding your Apple ID. The first is that the email may be a legitimate warning that your Apple ID has been compromised. For this reason I would suggest that you change the password to your Apple ID as soon as possible. It does not help, because it only shows the photos on the camera roll and do not show the photos synchronized with that pc that i dont have access anymore.
The photos/albums all appear on the ipad, i can see it without problems but i cant get them out of the ipad to save onto pc for backup.
And i reaaly need it, as it is the only place that i actually have these photos now... -
Spacing Issues and You Tube embed not playing in IE8, OK in Chrome or Safari
There are spacing issues (makes the website pages look like they are puzzle pieces) on all the webpages in
IE8, but in Safari and Chrome the website works fine. Same for the You Tube embed.
My wife did the layout of the website in Ilustrator and then transfered over the design to Dreamweaver CS3
(she's a graphic designer - I stopped asking questions long ago). Since she uses a Mac, it looked fine to her
in Safari. She took it to her work computer (PC) and tried to see if there were any issues detected when viewing in CS5
and she said it was fine.

Videos and you tube take forever to load and they are freezing up
why are my videos taking a long time to load, also on you tube?
Could be a lot of reasons. The 3 main ones are...
#1 - slow internet connection or access- Speed Test
#2 - Your Adobe Flash Player Software is out of date.
#3 Using an outdated browser or one that constantly needs TLC. -
Safari is repeatedly crashing and web pages are not responding
So, my safari is constantly freezing (the spinning wheel of death shows up) and then I'm told that the web-pages are not responding and I need to force reload them all. And this can repeat a number of times; a full system re-start is the only fix.
Any fixes, solutions would be appreciated.
I'm using Safari 5.1.9; and Mac OS X 10.6.8MIght be third party plugins causing Safari to freeze.
Try the troubleshooting help here > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
And see if you can do this before Safari freezes.
Launch Safari and immediately press Command , (comma) to open the Safari Preferences pane then select the Extentions tab.
If there are any extensions installed, turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If Safari doesn't freeze, uninstall one extension at a time, quit and relaunch Safari to test again. -
I'm trying to help my sister in law get Itunes on her ipod touch. When I press the itunes icon on the home page it says "cannot connect to the ipod store". Similarly when I press the You Tube icon is says "Cannot connect to You Tube". I'm able to access the web through safari. Any ideas out there? Thanks.
