Safari 5.1.5 not working with Google Docs

In a Google text doc, there is a problem with line spacing such that all the lines in the doc are stacked up on the first line making it unreadable and unusable. I've had this problem with the last few releases of Safari but the problem has just become worse.
If I click anywhere in the body of the doc I get:
     Google Docs error
     This error has been reported to Google and we'll look into it as soon as possible.
     Please try one of these interim solutions:
Reload this page.
Download the document by right-clicking on it in the main document list and selecting "Export."
I'm running Safari in 64-bit so that's not the problem and switching back to 32-bit doesn't fix it.
I can view the original format of the doc with proper line spacing by selecing File > See original, but can't edit the doc at all.
Anybody come across a solution or work-around for this?

I am assuming that it has to do with Apples feud with Google. I have the same problem, it is begun to appear that Apple is trying to make it as difficult as possible for Apple users to integrate Google applications into their workflows. It is an incredibly frustrating miscalculation on their part and will be a major factor in my decision to discontinue patronage.

It seems I have done some mistake when you tube was open, and i stopped one site to delete!
From then on it is not working.

Built in iSight not working with Google chat?

Hi all,
I recently updgraded to Mac OS X version 10.7.2 for my Intel based iMac. Since then, the built in iSight camera does not work with Google Chat. It does work with iChat and Photobooth though.
I reistalled the Google chat plug in (or I guess I installed it again). I ran a check, and my software updates are current. I tried the power down, unplug the power cord, wait 15 seconds routine, and that didn't work either.
When I go in to Mail Settings in gmail, click Chat, and then Verify your Settings, I don't see anything in the window next to it - just black.
Does anyone have any good ideas to help? Using google chat is just a lot more convenient for me than using iChat...

For some time now the Google Web Browser Video Chat plug-in (Also and automatic part of Installing Chrome) has been an issue in relation to going to Video Chat sites that use the Flash Plug-in.
My Flash Plug-in in Lion is version 11.1 r102
I don't have the Google one so I could not tell you the latest from them.
I am not sure that Google are moving very fast, if at all on this matter.
It could be as soon as either Flash makes an update it ruins the progress Google have made.

EPrint does not work with Google Apps for Business (hosted email)

I have looked up numerous posts, from back into 2011 even, and HP still has not resolved this.
HP's ePrint does not work with companies using Google Apps for Business (hosted email).
Our emails come from our domain, but from the servers/DNS of Google, so we wind up getting
the "550 5.7.1 Command Rehected" error.
This is a major issue as more and more companies (especially small business owners) are moving away
from having in-house/Exchange servers, and they are moving toward hosted systems.
You really need to find a way to stop rejecting emails coming from Google Apps hosted email.
It's been around 4 years now (looking at previous posts). Why hasn't HP found a resolution to this yet?

Safari 8 hover does not work over google map location pins

OS X 10.10.1, Safari 8, Java 8-25
I have always had little odd things not work when using safari on a large % of websites I visit, the latest issues are
no response when hovering over google map location pins, travel site calendars not opening or responding to mouse, drag and drop
show the item being dragged several inches away from the actual pointer, some links don't respond, missing items
or odd layout with print or pop ups going off the screen on some website pages, zooming in and out does not help. I have none
of these issues when using Firefox or Chrome. Been using Safari for 4 years now.

Have you tried a PRAM and an SMC reset? They're longshots, but don't take long to try.

Have you run Apple Diagnostics from the disc(s) that shipped with the computer?
Since the problem occurs in all browsers, it still sounds like a video hardware or video RAM or maybe a software issue having to do with layers and rendering.
The map layers aren't getting rendered, or if rendered, aren't getting displayed.
Do you have any browser add-ins? Pop-up blockers?
Since you have two video chipsets, it's possible that might be related to the issue.
This non-Apple website talks about switching between chipsets on the various MacBook models so equipped, and points to a free 'donationware' program for the menubar that lets you easily switch between chipsets:

Trying to think of other software that might help pinpoint the problem, does the iPhoto Slideshow 'Shatter' template work? Working properly, it 'shatters' images into several color layers and rotates them in and out to build and deconstruct photos.

NewsRack not working with google

I purchased NewsRack a while ago and synced it with my google reader account. This has been a very busy week and I had not had a chance to sit and read my feeds, and I ended up having close to 10,000 unread articles. When I finally reopened the app today it said I only had about 800 unread articles and that it could no longer sync with my google reader account. I remembered that I had to change my google account password a few days ago, so naturally I figured this was the issue.
When I logged out and resynced my google reader account, it said that there was an unknown error. I have tried several times to resync and it is not working. I already paid for the app so I decided to uninstall it and download again for free but I am getting the same message when I try to sync with google reader. I would uninstall my reader app with google and set it up again if I had to but it seems that you can't do that.
I was wondering if anyone had problems connecting NewsRack to google reader and if they are aware of any solutions.

For Google... try deleting Google cookies. Launch Safari. From the menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab. Click: Show Cookies.
Delete all Google related cookies.
That may help you re login so you can use Google Reader. If you still can't login to Google, open Keychain Access (Applications/Utilities). Select Passwords on the left. Now delete all Google keychains.
Relaunch Safari, login to Google, click Yes when prompted. That will create a new keychain for you.

Firefox will not work with google

Hi, When I open up Firefox it goes immediately to Google, with "Search" selected in the toolbar. For the past few days, it is not working properly. If I write in a name, Joe Bloggs for example, and click search, nothing comes up. It may say there are "31,000" results, but none appear. If I set the search for "Images" on the toolbar and click search, a lot of pictures of Joe Bloggs will appear for a split second, but then it will revert to the same for Search, saying simply the number of results, but nothing shows on screen. This also happens if I select "News" from the toolbar. This problem does not occur if I use Internet Explorer or Chrome to get to Google. Does anybody have an idea what is happening, and how to solve it?

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

Access Connections "Override home page" does not work with Google Chrome

I have different homepages set up for home and work locations within Access Connections. These work fine with Windows Internet Explorer 9 and with Mozilla Firefox 16. However, with Google Chrome 23 (my preferred browser), Access Connections does not override the home page. Since that section in Access Connections is entitled "Customize Internet Explorer, Firefox Browser or Google Chrome", it ought to work...
I am using a T520 with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

If Chrome does't display your webpages, then contact Google about it.

ICal in Lion not working with Google

Google is reporting an incorrect username and password when refreshing iCal's subscriptions to several Google calendars.
I did read a thread here in the support forums that indicated that Apple is trying to fix some bug and in the meantime Google is not allowing the Lion version of iCal to synchronize with Google calendars. The problem is appearing as we roll out new laptops for teachers at our school disctrict and Google Calendar synch is failing now.
Can those familar with Google and Apple speak ot the issue, verify it exists and what possible 3rd party solutions might exist to get around the calendar problem?

I'm having the same problem, except it's with my Snow Leopard. This is my first time trying to get my Google calendar synced with my iCal, and reporting the following:
The Server Responded with an Error
The server did not recognize your user name or password for account “[email protected]” Make sure you enter them correctly.
Is this just a random thing with Snow Leopard, am I doing something wrong? Or is there really something going on??

Firefox will not work with Google, GMail, or Google Search

I have a client that uses Google for e-mail and calendar. I am constantly on this site. I noticed last Friday that Google, GMail and Google search will not work on Firefox. When I go to the website for my client it spins says connecting and then just stops. When I try to put a search in the Google search box nothing happens. It's like I did absolutely nothing.
I need this access. I use Firefox because I develop websites and like the developer add-ons. There has to be a fix for this. Please let me know when this is fixed.

I opened Firefox in Safe Mode and there was no difference. I also found the file cookies.sqlite and renamed it cookies.sqlite.old. I deleted the 2 other cookies files. Still no difference. I am still unable to get a google search or log into a google account.

Safari 6.0 is not functioning with Google Calendar. Chrome and Firefox work perfectly.

I have been using Safari to manage my Google Calendar. Several days ago, the calendar stoped loading properly with Safari. I can't manage the calendar most times. Occasionally if I hit the arrow keys many times the day will change, but there is no data on the page. When I used the Chrome browser and FireFox, the calendar works pefectly. On the Google community site, other people are reporting the same or similar issues.

1. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
2. Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Test.
3. If the above steps don't resolve the problem, please describe it in more detail.
