I can't delete a safari web site login and password
After tapping delete all there is 1 item still in the box.
¿How can I delete it?

I had the same problem, and the solution was to delete the entries using the Keychain Access tool, found in Applications → Utilities. You can search for the entry there, remove it, and then it will be deleted from Safari as well.
(I had to do this when I changed my email address on Amazon, and all the auto-login pages had the old email addresses and wouldn't update. I tried to delete them from Safari's passwords dialog and ran into the problem you described).

You can look your computer for the .muse file of your site and delete it. Once you have deleted it, try to open it from Muse. You will get a pop up, which says the file/site is missing, would you like to remove it from the list. Click yes and it will be gone.

Safari, Leopard, 8 core - can't view various web sites

Brand new Mac Pro eight core (five days old - late July '08) with current Leopard and Safari updates -- Safari is unable to open quite a few pages that I have no trouble with on my (Tiger & Safari 3.1.2) G5 and G5 iBooks. No problems at all with Firefox.
Anyone with a similar issue? Any known fixes? Thanks.

I have now found a solution - I emptied the cache (an option in the drop down menu in Safari), and I deleted all the cookies (Safari menu - choose preferences > security - choose "show cookies" and 'remove all' .........
So far this has worked for me & I'm back able to view all website content - don't understand why it's happened though - bug in Safari or bugs in the cookies ? - I've never had to empty the cache or delete cookies on any of my Macs before ...........
Anyone have any thoughts as to what's going on??

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
However, if you are passing the device to someone else you should really erase the whole device.

Safari can't open specifics web sites

i'm having troubles to re-open some web sites visited earlier.
I'm on a macbook pro with leopard and safari 5.0.1, all updates installed
Example: www.tgcom.it
The first time opened without any problem, the second time can't open again.
after typing the address and hit the return key, safari display immediately (without even trying to load the page) the white page with the alert:
Safari can't connect to the server.
Safari can't open the page “http://www.tgcom.it/” because safari can't connect to the server “www.tgcom.it”.
I've try already to reset Safari and clean the cache. No changes.
On the same network I have an iMac, which is loading this page anytime without any problem.
As well a windows PC is on the same home network, the page can be loaded too.
Only on this macbook pro i'm experiencing this issue.
I don't know what to think more..... the problem can't be the web-site (it works with other machines)
Other web sites on the macbook are working properly, only three address seams to be blocked from this machine only....

I suspect it has something to do with your ISP.
Adding Open DNS codes to your Network Preferences, should give good results:
If you are using a single computer: Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu, and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' add the following two numbers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
(You can also enter them if you click on Advanced and then DNS)
Sometimes reversing the order of the DNS numbers can be beneficial in cases where there is a long delay before web pages start to load, and then suddenly load at normal speed:

Safari 5.03 I can not get ANY web pages except APPLE to load Help please

Hello, I just downloaded thru software update Safari 5.03. I am using SL for OS on Macbook Pro.
Now literally when trying to go to ANY web page at all I get a bunch of " little squared letter A's on the entire web page.

THe only web page that works at all is Apple site where i can view an use this forum.

1. I deselected: enable plug-ins
Quit Safari- then relaunch-- DID NOT work, I still have all "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" IN BOXES ON EVERY WEB SITE I TRY TO VISIT.
BUT AGAIN THE APPLE WEB SITE I AM ABLE TO TYPE YOU THIS MESSAGE. ONLY APPLE SITE WORKS
2. Also tried to turn off any extensions ( i did not have any but turned off-- DID NOT work
3. I did try to troubleshoot the safari plist file.
I looked at some of your prior posts and tried those plist attempts. I tried to move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the preferences--AGAIN THIS DID NOTHING.
BUT......I tried this but not total solution. I went on my other mac--I opened Safari ( i think 4.03) but again another mac, I then went to Firefox web site and I COPY AND PASTED THE ACTUAL WEB SITE IN AND PUT IT ON A SMALL FLASH DRIVE--THEN COPY AND PASTED IT INTO THE ADDRESS WINDOW OF SAFARI 5.03, AND HIT RETURN-- IT THEN WENT TO THE FIREFOX WEBSITE AND IT VIEWED IT PROPERLY, SO I DOWNLOADED FIREFOX AND TRIED TO RUN FIREFOX.
AND LOW AND BEHOLD FIREFOX WORKS.
BUT I STILL CANT GET SAFARI TO WORK
again, i still get ON EVERY SITE USING SAFARI 5.03 " AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" capital "A"s in little boxes on every web site. Almost like some code is not being read correctly by Safari?

Yes you can sign out of iCloud and log in with a different account. (System Preferences > iCloud > Sign Out)

If the old ID ("email address) is yours, and is an ealier version of your current iCloud ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. If your device is signed into an old iCloud ID that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). You can delete an existing account from your device and create a new one and start using it. But I'm not sure what you mean by transfer.

Can't access financial web site since time before last of safari update. Any help?

In my original post, not today's, I had said I was having the issues on the Mini, running OSX 10.6.8 and Safari v.5.1.5 for my bank's pill pay. I should have been more specific as to which machine and OSX Safari browser I'm having the T-Mobile problem with. My mistake.
It is on both the MacMini and now the Air too. A moment ago, I was able to log in to my.t-mobile.com on the Air, but after putting into my Bookmarks folder, I can't do it anymore. The Log in button comes up greyed out instead of green.
I'm also still having trouble with my bank's bill pay section on both computers too.
I wonder if it's related to the saving of the log in info or putting in the Bookmark Folder?
