Safari back up history

Hi all i want to ask whether Safari backs ups browsing history or you need to do it in order to have acess to your deleted history. Does apple have access to your browsing history?

Is that the computer that the iPad is normally synced to (an iPad is designed to be synced to one computer at a time) ? If I drag, for example, a video over and onto the iPad device then it looks like the following (it should also have a under the line of the item that I'm dragging but that isn't showing on my screenshot) :

With similar progress shown in the Movies part of my library. But are you instead seeing something like :
If you are then you could try clicking the 'Sync' button at the bottom right of that screen and see if it then copies over

If you mean web history, that depends on your browser settings. In Safari, you can choose for history to be deleted after anywhere from a day to a year, or never.

Safari back button greys out

Since installing OSX Mountain Lion, the Safari Back btton greys out when entering a new website. I have to close Safari and reopen it, then find the page I want through the history, just to go back one page. How do I fix it?

Workaround for this problem:
Use tabbed browsing.

Enabe two fingers swiping.

When i updated my computer, my safari on applications wont open and says "safari quit unexpectedly" and wont open but when i open it on the application key on the mac, safari will open. how do i get safari back on my dock where it will open.

Drag the Safari icon straight up and off the Dock so it goes, "poof" ...
Now click and hold the Safari app in the Applications folder and drag that to the Dock.
See if you can open a webpage in Safari.

If you can open Safari go to the top of your screen, click Safari / Preferences then select the General stab. You can type in the web address for your Home page there.

How can i change all the purple links in safari back to blue

Go to SAFARI tab from the safari menu and "reset Safari"
You can keep your passwords, just uncheck that option.
once done that, quit Safari, here is the trick. CLosing the Safari Window doesn't quit the app, to quit it you can either go to "safari" tab on the safari menu and Quit safari or press control key on the keyboard and click on the safari app and quit. that will erase those purple highlighted links

Go to Settings - General - Restrictions - and turn Parental Control off or turn Safari on vs off. This should bring Safari back for you.

Using the Safari Back button to navigate?

Why is it when I'm navigating the Support communities and I use the Safari back button it always goes to the top of the list and not to the list that I have already expanded. It gets pretty annoying to have to keep expanding the topic list to get back to were a left off.

Every "List" you see is sorted by activity - latest first. If you navigate away, then back, you are reloading the page with a new set of activity.
If you wish to use a list as a "Home Base" after using "Load More", COMMAND > Click the link (Title?) to open the thread in a new TAB. when finished, close the TAB and you will see your Home Base as you left it - likely with the thread you chose Underlined

I have an update so I thought I would share in case any other users are experiencing a similar problem.
I made an appointment with the Genius Bar at the Apple Store.
I went in and they ran a thorough diagnostic check on my Macbook Air and determined that the sensors were indeed faulty - several were providing no information "No reading" instead of providing a temperature. Thus, the Air was unaware of the temperature across multiple components.
Despite the laptop being outside the 12 Month Manufacturer Warranty, the Apple Store determined that it was covered under warranty through Australian Consumer Law - the laptop is now in for a complete repair under warranty at no cost to myself.
I couldn't be happier.

You should have restored the backup that was on your computer before syncing. Now it is too late. However, if you followed the instructions in the manual and set up an app on your computer to sync contacts and calendar to they will still reside in those apps. Photos in the camera roll are lost, however, if you had followed the instructions in the manual to copy photos from the camera roll to your computer regularly you can restore them to the photo app from the copy on your computer. Text messages are gone for good. Music and Apps should be in the music library on your computer.

By default Firefox will display back/forward and reload icons, plus a few more. If they are missing see the [[back and forward or other toolbar items are missing]].

Spry back/forward history - bookmarks

Hi i`m new width spry, and i love it. One thing is making me
trouble - spry back/forward history and bookmarks managment. I play
width URLUtilsSample.html in the spry`s samples folder, but i don`t
know how to implement this utility to work widthout refresh page
and make browser history posible . Is this posible? Does anyone

This is easily the most important piece that's missing. As
someone who's implementing dynamic page loading a history feature
is ESSENTIAL to making this work. All the fades and effects and
such are nice but this is easily number one.... and a quick number
two would be identical behavior between IE and Firefox but that's a
whole different post... ;)
