Safari can't click links

Hi guys / girls,
Im a student in the Netherlands. My school uses Sharepoint for files, info etc.
The problem with safari ( also Firefox , Chrome ) is that i can't click certain links. If i put the pointer on the link it says" javascript: " in the bottom of Safari. If i click on it it doesn't do anything.
Do you have a fix for this problem.
Thanks in advance
Tom

Make sure you have Javascript turned on in the preferences.

  • Safari Can't Send Link to Mail

I was using Safari and wanted to send a link in an e-mail message (with Mail Link To This Page). Safari 5.0.2 is set as default browser, and Mail 4.3 is default mail application. I had Mail open and running at the time of each attempt. I also tried with Mail closed, and it still gave me the following error and wouldn't open Mail. The following message appears on each of the web pages that I have tried to use. One page is one I use frequently.
+"An e-mail message can't be created to send the link because Safari can't find an e-mail application.+
+You can use the Mail application included with Mac OS X to send email. To do so, you might need to install Mail using the Mac OS X install discs. OK"+
Any ideas on this? This is the first time I've ever encountered this problem. Also seeing the same message if I select Mail Contents of This Page.
    Hoping for guidance and solution.
    Lynn

    HI,
Restart your Mac. Sometimes just restarting your Mac can make a difference. If not...
Another Safari user had the same problem and deleting the .cache.db file helped. http://discussions.info.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=12182590
In a Finder window select your home folder in the Sidebar on the left. Open the Library folder, then the Caches folder, then the com.apple.Safari folder.
Move the cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
    Relaunch Safari and try again.

  • Can't click links in browser on curve 8530

So I've had my phone for about a month now. When I first got it, I could browse the internet just fine. But slowly, over the past few weeks, I've suddenly not been able to click links on any webpages. I can type things in, like in a Google search, but then can't click the search button and nothing happens when I press the enter button on my keyboard either. I know this isn't specific to certain websites because it's happening on sites that worked fine before. I've tried changing my browser, none of them worked. Help!
    Solved!

Oh that you can leave on BlackBerry Browser.
If you're in the browser go into Options | General Properties can you set the default browser to Internet Browser?
Also try to reset the device by removing the battery for 15 seconds and replacing it.

  • Can't click links under text menus (CSS menus)

I have an issue clicking certain text menus while using mobile browsers including Firefox Beta and even chrome.
I'm pretty sure they are CSS text menus.. but say I click a header, and there are link options below that header.. I can't click the links that are below it because it quickly loads the link at the top of the menu.
    Say this is the menu:
    Account
    -- info
    -- security
    -- etc
And account is the header link, and I want to access "security" it doesn't even give me a chance to because it loads the Account link.
Confused and don't know why its happening
The pic is an example of a menu with links incant use

This is a common problem with traditional menus because unlike using a mouse, there's no way to "hover" over a menu on mobile, you have to touch it, which then gets processed like a click. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any workarounds.
(My blog has this problem and I probably need a new template that can tell the difference between desktop and mobile browsers and adapt how the menus work.)

  • Can't click links??

Hey. I just recently bought a new BB Curve 8530 from Koodo and i'm not able to click any links. I received pictures where I have to click a link but it's just text, no hyperlink. Also I went to download some apps and I had to click a link in my hotmail but it wouldn't let me. Is anyone having this same problem and can anyone help me out?
    Thanks in advance,
                                Justin

Hi jay_forbes and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
You should check with your service provider to make sure you have the proper provisioning in place for mobile browsing.
If you do not have browsing capabilities, hyper-links show up as regular text.
Thank you and have a great day!

  • Can't click links when searching using Google - iPhone 5

Strange problem but bear with me.
iPhone 5. When I search using the google box in the upper right corner, and the search results come up, I am unable to click any of the result links that appear.  The browser appears like it is opening the link, but nothing happens and the circle just spins.
Bookmarked links work fine as well as any web address keyed directly into the bar. The only issue is when I search and attempt to go to a web page by clicking the link after a search. Any idea what's wrong?   I've only noticed this while using cellular not on wifi but I can't confirm.

  • Safari, can't following links

I can load all the web pages I want, but when I select a link nothing happens. I can move the page, zoom in, zoom out, but now clicking on the link. If you put your finger on the link it is to show the address it links to, it doesn't even do that.

me too - and fixed is like this:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305743
    To turn completely off
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. When iPhone is off, incoming calls go straight to voicemail.
    To reset
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • My ipod safari can't open links or press buttons.

Like for instance,I tried to press one of the episodes from http://www.justanimedubbed.tv/watch/adventure-time/ and it won't let me.When I press it,it doesn't do anything...And even if I type the specific URL for the episode,it won't let me watch the video because I press "Skip Ad" and it doesn't do anything..There were no problems before,it just suddenly happened...

I went to the site on my iPhone and had same problem as you. Then I went to the site on my computer and that indicated that it was Fash since I block Fash and have to click on the Flash boxes to play them.

Check the links below for options to remove the Adware.

  • Can't click on links in safari, but can open to new tab

    Hey guys,
I recently uploaded my first website via dreamweaver, but I can't seem to click on my links while in Safari.
The links are there and they do work, because I can right click and open to a new tab.
Also while previewing the site in dreamweaver everything's working as it should.
    Google chrome also works fine.
Even when I choose 'preview in Safari", but when I open my website via url in Safari something's not working right...
Anyone know what to do or where to look?
    Thanks,
    Vincent

  • Can't click on links on Safari

So, when I'm on Safari I can't click on any links, for example after searching google, I can't click on any of the web pages. Or when I'm at apple.com I can't click on the 'store' or 'mac' at the top.
Anyone know what I can do about this?

Oh and one last thing if that ever happens open a new tab in safari on the iPod and close out of the unresponsive one. That usally works for me so I wont have to power down

Try printing the page as PDF.
From your Safari menu bar click File > Print > Save As PDF then print the PDF file.
