Safari crashes and download options for OS 10.3.9

I am running Safari 1.3.2, using OS 10.3.9. I experience fairly frequent crashes, which seem to be specific to certain websites. What should I do?
Also, is there a new version of Safari that will run on this OS? If so, will that help with the frequent crashing?

Which specific web sites? Do they all use JavaScript or Java? Old versions of Safari will have problems with both, since newer versions of those technologies are being used on web sites.
Also, is there a new version of Safari that will run on this OS?
Tragically, no. You have the last version for 10.3.9. If you want to get the newest version, 3.2.1, you'd need to upgrade your OS to at least 10.4.11, which will cost you about $129 from a retailer who still has a boxed copy in stock. That will solve a lot of your crashing problems. And you should be sure that your system will support it and you have a large enough hard disk and max out your RAM, because you'll need it.
