Safari doesn't show page

With the site http://integrity.nylx.com/ ,I enter in information to all the appropriate fields, and when clicking "Search Rates Now" I don't get any results. After looking into all the plugins I need, nothing seems to work. What is strange, is that it works on IE7 and Firefox. Any suggestions on where to start to fix this issue?
NOTE: 90210 is the only zip that seems to work.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

HI,
If you haven't done so, empty the Safari Cache from the Safari Menu Bar.
Relaunch Safari. If you still see the same problem,
Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari and see if that makes a difference. If not, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder. If Safari functions as it should, move that .plist file to the Trash.
If that doesn't help, install the v10.6.3 v1.1 Combo Update
Then repair disk permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.
I see by a prior post that you are aware of third party plug ins so I doubt it's that.

  • Safari doesn't show Chinese characters in a specific site?

    Hi all,
I've just found a weird thing that Safari doesn't show Chinese character in this site.
    http://blog.bcxstudio.net/
It works in Firefox (Mac and win), Chrome (mac and win), IE 6-9, Safari for Mac, but not Safari on Windows.
However, when I browse other websites like Yahoo hong kong and Apple HK. There is no problem.
    http://hk.news.yahoo.com
    http://www.apple.com/hk
My best guess is that the site may uses some fonts (CSS3 @font-face?) that safari did not support.
    Anyone knows what happened?
I am on Windows 7, Safari for Windows 5.0.2 (7533.18.5)
    Thank you!

That's a bit odd ... I'm getting the opposite effect at the moment on my XP SP3. I'm not seeing the text in IE 8 (I don't think I've got the International character sets installed for my XP Pro), but they show fine in my Safari 5.0.2.
Are you still seeing the effect at your end at the moment, b?

  • Safari doesn't show up on new user accounts

I created a new account and Safari doesn't show up. I have updated with MacOS Combo 10.6.3v1.1 and then repaired disk. Problem still occurs. My main account still works...it's only on other accounts. Any ideas??

Do they have access to the /Applications?
Is the icon for Applications in the dock?
Did you open the folder with the command or open to / or Computers?
To say there is a ? still doesn't tell if Safari is there, moved, or your account lacks access.

  • Only safari doesn't show the home page image - why?

    Hello
Wonder why the home page image/masthead doesn't show on the home page, ONLY in Safari/mac - every other browser shows it. Would love a fix.
    Thoughts?
    thank you

Thanks very much for the thoughts - I redid that alternate masthead for ie5.5 and updated the link - yes, now the ALTERNATE banner shows but NOT the image I need, which does still show in other browsers. Only in Safari does the alternate masthead now show, but not the main masthead needed.
Below is the code that directs the image for ie 5.5 but why would this affect Safari?

    if (!IsCallback)
// IE 5.5 isn't able to render the dynamic menu items correctly if
// the size of the header image is too large. To work around this problem,
// IE 5.5 gets a different header image than the other browsers.
    if (Request.Browser.Id == "ie55")
    mastheadImg.ImageUrl = String.Format("~/Images/homepage/masthead9.jpg", Page.Theme != null ? Page.Theme : Page.StyleSheetTheme);
    mastheadImg.Height = 206;
    litHeaderHeight.Text = "206px";

Also, here's the code that fixed the Safari fly out menu problem but has caused Safari to not show the proper masthead/image. Any thoughts?

  • Help, My Safari doesn't show its icon and will not open?

So heres some help for you:
    1. Im a new member, not an idiot when it comes to computers but in no way very expeirenced and knowledgable.
    2. I recently was informed I had 0 disk space left, so I deleted a lot of stuff and feel I may have accidently deleted something..
    3. My safari does not open
    4. It doesn't show the traditional Compass Icon for Safari it is a blank white page..? With the Applications Logo on it.. ( see picture below )
    5. Yes, I basically only registered so I can ask this question ...
    6. What on earth can I do to fix it!
    - Heres a pic..
Quickpost this image to Myspace, Digg, Facebook, and others!

    Hi Lax561,
    Welcome to discussions ...
I can see that Safari is NOT in the Dock ...
Did you check out if Safari is still in the Application folder ?? open Finder an go to the application folder.
If it's still there than you can drag a copy to the Dock.
Do the following ... Select Safari icon an hold down the mouse an the Option key ad the same time while dragging to the Dock. During dragging you will see a + (plus) next to the Safari icon.
Place the Safari icon in the Dock where you like it, next to the Fire Fox icon is maybe the best place to put it.
Post back with the results ...

  • Safari doesn't show iweb audio files - help

    Hi
Just created my first iWeb site and it has a page with 1 minute samples of music. I tested these with Firefox and Safari both before and after publishing to the web and all seemed OK. When I tried today, Safari doesn't display the files at all whereas Firefox works fine.
    Any clues?
    Thanks

    Thanks for quick feedback -
    Curiouser and curiouser ......
I now find that the browsers on my iMac (Firefox and Safari) both show/play the audio samples on http://www.smoothnoodles.co.uk/smoothnoodles/Samples.html, whereas on my MacBook Pro, only Firefox does. Safari doesn't even display the files
Is there some setting in Safari that determines whether certain file types are loaded/displayed? Both browsers are Safari 5.1.7 and OS is 10.6.8 on both machines.

  • Safari doesn't show window

    Hi everybody,
When I open Safari, I see the tool bar, I can click on everything, but I see no response from the app.
I can't see a window. When I click (ctrl left Mouse click) in the dock on the icon, I can see that safari has opened a page, but I can't see this page.
I have already trashed the prefs, but it didn't help.
    I didn't do an archive.
I did all the software updates.
The problems occurred for the first time 3 days ago.
Current version of safari 2.0.2 created 11.02.05 01:50.
This behavior only is visible with my main account.
I created a test account and in this account Safari works perfectly.
When I copy the prefs of this account to my main account, Safari still doesn't work.
    Who has a clue
    thanx

  • Safari doesn't show NYTimes multimedia

Safari doesn't open slideshows from NyTimes. I talked tp apple about this but they couldn't offer any solution. What I discovered just the other day was when I delete the cookies and go to NyTimes again, it opens the slideshows and other multimedia but after about 10-12 clicks it stops opening the slideshows. It opens a blank page which is in the same format as NyTimes slideshow, but no buttons to click or no images. Sometimes it brings the first image without any buttons.
And I have quite the same problems as mentioned on the previous posts like slow connection, or not connection at all while my wireless works pretty well in the other pcs on my apartment...
Is there anyone having similar problems with Safari and a solution?

    Hi,
Just for the benefit of others reading, Java and JavaScript are 2 completely unrelated things. JavaScript is so-called simply because the language used to write the code looks very similar to the language used for Java - other than that they are very different animals.
Yahoo! games tend to be Java though so checking for Java updates is a good idea.

  • Safari doesn't show "open in iBooks" or "open in" anymore, Why?

when i load or find a pdf file in safari, the popup bar Open in or open in iBooks doesn't show anymore. how i can resolve It?

    Hello DavideS76,
Thanks for your question.  I'm not sure why the option for opening in iBooks is not appearing for you when you browse in Safari.  One thing you can try is to forward the PDF as an email attachment and open it with iBooks from there.

  • Safari doesn't show after installation

    Hi folks,
I want to try the new safari 4. So I went to apple.com, downloaded the .dmg and installed the program as usual until it showed the usual message to be successfully completed. Thatafter I can only find the package and installation-drive to install it once more, but no safari among my applications or program/item to move there. I tried spotlight but it only shows some safari-stuff in some metadata-folders in some library-folders.
Now already repeated the whole procedure, downloaded and installed it again, but nothing to work with.
If anybody can help me with what is wrong I'd be really thankful.
    Kind regards to all helpers

    Hi ~Bee.
Well the last Safari app I had was in the application folder, if that is what you mean. It worked out but didn't satisfy me completely, so I have been prefering Firefox so far and now want to give Safari another try. Safari had been removed and currently there has been no Safari app on my OSX. I even searched the trash bin, to see if there still is an app which now got updated - even though I can't really imagine. The only non-meta-data about safari is the .dmg, and it is still in the downloads-folder.
Right now I searched my disk again and spotlight doesn't show anything new or different than in the first post above.

  • Safari doesn't render pages ( white pages)

Since I updated to Maverick (from Lion) Safari doesn't render web pages anymore.
The pages loads, but stay blank (all white) , but I can still interact with them ( view pages source and click on any links)
I created a new account, threre everything work perfectly.
I tried to remove all files, cahes,  preferences and plugins... but nothing work!
Also, Chrome, Firefox and Opera all work perfectly
Anyone know about a third party app that could cause this
Anyone have any idea on what could be going on ?
    Thanks

    Try troubleshooting Safari extensions...
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab.
Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

  • I'm wanting to restore Safari to its factory settings but my Safari doesn't show the "Restore Safari" button for me to do that. How do I restore Safari back to its factory settings?

I'm wanting to restore Safari on my computer back to its factory condition but, for some odd reason, Safari is not showing me the "Restore Safari" button on my computer. Can anyone help me in this dilemma?

    Safar 8
Apple removed "Reset Safari" menu option in Safar 8.
In it's place there is "Clear History and Website Data".
    You can use that option.
    Best.

Anybody has a solution for that ??

  • Safari doesn't show menu on web page

I can see a web page (amazenmaze.com) but the navigation menu is missing. Other users (Mac & PC) can view the entire web page and can see/access the menu with no problem. I recently switched from a PC to Mac Mini. OSX v4. Have never seen the manu w/ this Mac Mini. I made sure parental controls were turned off.
Any ideas why this is happening? Of course I really need to use the menu on this web site to navigate beyond the home page (I'm in charge of logging in an making updates to this site).
    Thanks!

I can see the menu using firefox but not with safari
when the site is checked by W3C Markup Validator , it has 26 errors
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazenmazes.com
On what mac can you view this page successfully , and are you using Safari on those macs
