i'm trying to install the utorrent beta and i keep getting this safari domain error that action could not be completed
can anybody help me out its frustrating

Hi,
Go to /Library/Preferences and move the com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist file to the Trash. Restart your Mac.
Now try Software Updates.
If the same error appears, try the suggestion at this link by :

Please try to configure the cross domain policy file to allow public read access (that is, access it without federation requirement), make sure you can access the address
http://something/clientaccesspiolicy.xml directly in a browser
without redirecting to check whether the cross domain policy file could be anonymous accessed (Please start a new browser session and make sure you're
not logged in. Then test the cross domain policy file.).

What is "Safari Error Domain Error 2"?

When trying to download the iPhone 3.1.3 SDK for Snow Leopard, after six hours, I ended up with a Safart Error Domain Error 2.
What, exactly, is a "Domain Error 2", and what can I do to fix it so I don't waste another six hours when I try to download this again?
(Note that this was done through Safari on an iMac running Snow Leopard, with whatever system updates were recently sent out.)

Whatever caused it, it went away when I tried downloading a second time.
(My guess is, either there was a glitch with my router - the signal may have had a problem trying to get through a closed door for some reason - or there was some conflict with a Mac update I had just installed that needed a cold boot.)

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Test.

Cross Domain error for Silverlight + MVC application with self hosted WCF service on azure

We are migrating existing Silverlight application to MVC; existing Silverlight application is hosted on
Azure which is consuming self-hosted WCF service. For authentication we have implemented
ADFS with WIF (passive). The cloud service (<myWebSite>.cloudapp.net) is C Name to (<myWebSite>.<myDomain>.com) and we
are consuming WCF service at <myWebSite>.cloudapp.net/<myService>.svc, as we were getting “Cross Domain” error so we have added “clientaccesspolicy.xml” at the root of “WEB ROLE”.
Existing Silverlight application works fine but the problem occurred when we deploy our migrated application to the same cloud service. We are getting a “Cross Domain” error.
The same migrated application works fine on UAT environment, the only difference is UAT environment is
without ADFS WIF implementation.
Migrated application is half Silverlight and half MVC with initial landing page is Silverlight. MVC web role is used to host the service i.e. .SVC . To go to SL landing page , redirected from home controller. Following is being observed in fiddler for this
application
Existing Silverlight application -
After authentication with ADFS it redirect to Silverlight landing page.
Before calling service method it looks for “clientaccesspolicy.xml”
In response header we are getting the content of “clientaccesspolicy.xml”
And after this everything works fine
Migrated Silverlight-MVC application –
After authentication with ADFS it redirects to “HomeController” and from there we are redirecting to Silverlight landing page.
Before calling service method it looks for “clientaccesspolicy.xml”
In response header we are getting following content - “https://federation-sts.<myDomain>.com/adfs/ls/?wa=wsignin1.0&
wtrealm=https%3a%2f%2f<myWebSite>.<myDomain>.com&

4.Throw “Cross Domain” error.
Also we have added filter in
RouteConfig
for .xml file

NOTE: There is no configuration change apart from MVC configuration.
We have done RDP to web role and found that “clientaccesspiolicy.xml” is present at “E:\approot” location and it is also accessible at “https://<myWebSite>.<myDomain>.com/clientaccesspolicy.xml”.

Try deleting that app, then see if you have the same issue.

There are many people suffering from this problem right now (including me). It appears to be a server issue. Just wait and try checking for updates again tomorrow.
Some things I have heard indicate that this may be a regional problem, though what parts of the world are affected I don't know yet. A few people have been helped by deleting the following preference file (paste the path into the Go -> Go to Folder window in the Finder to locate it), though most have not:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
Note that if you are trying to download iTunes 10.7, that can be found here:

Also, note that there is no reason to be anxious to get it, as the only thing added in iTunes 10.7 is compatibility with iOS 6, which will not be available until the 19th, and the new iPhone, which will not be available until later as well. The new iTunes that was announced is iTunes 11, which is also not yet available.

My Apple Store App has locked up when trying to download and install upgrade 10.9.3. I get an error message NSURLE ERROR Domain error - 1012

When attempting to upgrade to 10.9.3 my Aple Store app locked up and gave me an error code of NSURLE ERROR Domain error-1012. It still thinks I need the upgrade even thogh I have successfully downloaded and installed it through another source. How can I correct this?

That's because the download on the App store is to bussy.
I hat yersterday the same message ... after a fuw hours everything whas back to normal.
This is NOT your Mac or internet connection.
