Safari don't open website - he ever wants using google search site

I wish to open a Website with Safari - everytime i type in an address safari open Google
The function "open address or search in Google" is terrible - how i can switch off this sh.t function and can only open an address?????

I think i use a different browser - perhaps Firefox or Chrome?
Have anybody a better idea?

You won't be able to use it unless you can get the old owner to remove the device from his account. This is Activation Lock and there is no way around it. Apple will not help.

Since you didn't include any pertinent info such as the Mac model and OS version you are running, here is some general information:
Mac OS X: Gray screen appears during startup
Depending on which OS yours came with originally - and which OS you are now running - you would either need your original install disks - you can call Apple for replacements by giving them your serial number. Or you may be able to reinstall the OS by using recovery (again, depends on which model/which OS).

You can't. It's now integrated with the URL bar. It's a search/URL combo.

Safari doesn't open website fully unless CMD R (force refresh)

Hello Everyone,
Headteacher isn't happy that for some reason Safari will not open images at the top of this website unless I hit CMD R. Doesn't work with the normal refresh/reload button. It works fine in Chrome and Firefox.
Site is http://www.lowerpark.cheshire.sch.uk (Using Safari 7.0.1).
I obviously can't tell all the kids here's a new website but you have to press CMD R if you are using an iMac or MacBook Pro. Normal refresh doesn't work and I can't check if Safari on a PC works as I don't have one.
Clearing out cache files etc have no effect even using a 'through cleansing' software such as Washing Machine.
Any advice much appreciated before the headteacher changes to another company to update the school website.

Safari don't open tabs from last session

In Safari/Preferences in Safari Opens With I choose the option all tabs from last session (I've translate menus my safari was in portuguese so I don't know exactly how the options are in english).
But when I open safari, it's open only one blank tab, and don't open any tab from the last session, someone knows how can I solve this problem?

Safari don't open after update

Hi everyone .
Simple problem :
Safari won't open after updating it to 5.1.7 via software update
I am on OSX 10.6.8
It feels really odd to get this kind of issue after an update
This has happened before , the last version of Safari that worked on my system was Safari 5.03 .
Any ideas someone ?

Have you run UpdateOwa.PS1 ?? if not run it:
Open Exchange Management Shell as administrator:
1. You need to navigate to Bin Folder or Scripts for Exchange 2010 Server which contains UpdateOwa.PS1 script and run it as below!

Safari is not opening websites after Maverick update. Any suggestions?

Recently updated to Maverick and now the Safari is not opening anything. I have a Macbook Pro 15 inch 2010. Looking for suggestions to fix the problem.

Safari doesn't save any more google search results in the history.
Steps to reproduce:
1.) go to google.com
2.) search for "APPLE"
3.) open the history
Result: the search for "APPLE" is not saved - only the Google mainpage.
This has something to do with the new search string in the Location bar. Safari does not save URL with /#.
For example:
the new string is http://www.google.de/#hl=...
the old one is: http://www.google.de/search?hl=....
The change must something to do with the new Google-Search-Feature. When I deactivate it, then google works with the old string and I found the searches in the history.
The second negative effect is, when you type "apple" into the location bar (after a search), the autocomplete shows the search result, but when you hit enter, you are redirected to the Google-Mainpage.
Very annoying

I have downloaded Firefox android a number of times and every time I open Firefox and try to use the search line Google Chrome takes over the search, so save to

PDF in Firefox remains grayed out, because l cannot do a Firefox search. l cannot change the default search in apps because there all grayed out. l cannot change it in settings - search for Google Chrome and Firefox, because there is no Firefox appearing, even after in Firefox tip saying long press search line to add it. Cannot get box to come up either, to be able to change default search to Firefox by clicking always or once. My tablet is a Lenovo Yoga 8 Android jelly bean 4.2.2 OS. Please can someone help, l have been trying to figure this out for more than a week. l especially wanted to use the save to PDF function in Firefox. Please, please HELP!

There is no Firefox search, there are a number of search engines you can choose in the Settings men u > Customize> Search Engines
The search engine will be searched in the toolbar, as you type there will be an option to chose to search in many engines. If you turned on google search suggestions this will happen as well.
When you say the option is greyed out, can you please take a screenshot on the tablet and upload it in a response, it is a little unclear what you are trying to do. [[How to make screenshots]]
When you say you want to save to a pdf, are you talking about this add on for the android?
