Fingers crossed, your Windows 7 will have been recording some information about those.
Go into your Action Center, find your Problem history and look for Safari problem reports that occur at the same time as those error messages. Open the Safari problem reports and have a look through them. Do they all say pretty much the same thing? If so, paste the contents of a typical problem report into a reply here so we can have a look.

The browser opens up fast as always and runs fine but the message is a pain and annoying. I'm running Firefox now , but I want my Safari back . Please help.

First, open your Action Center and expand "Maintenance". Click "View reliability history":
Once the reliability report has been generated, look for Critical events for Safari generated at the time of the "Safari has stopped working" messages. Doubleclick the name Safari in the critical events. (Don't click View solution.) Here's a screenshot showing what to doubleclick:

I generated the problem report similar to the above screen shot " by way of IE 9 "  but will not let me copy and paste the contents as a screen shot in reply to your post here . Copy to clipboard did not work either. I might be doing something wrong. Oh well.
By the way , the only difference is- The Problem Event Name of mine is not BEX. but rather : APPCRASH. Fault Module Name : JavaScriptCore.dll.  Fault Module Version: 7534.55.2.1. The rest are very similar to the above screenshot. If you need more information then I guess I have to do it  all manually. Please let me know. Thanks again.

    Go to   /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Move the AdobePDF browser plugin to the Trash.

  • Windows 7 64-bit: Safari has stopped working

Help needed! I am one of those guys that has to use a Windows machine at Work. So I have a Windows 7 64-bit OS on my work laptop. I use Safari at home on my Macs. Since I have a browser choice, I surely want to use Safari 5 on my Windows 7 machine but so far I am having no luck. Safari runs for X minute (time varies) and then all of sudden crashes with a message "Safari has stopped working." I have uninstalled Safari, manually cleaned up all the Safari folders that go into user account preferences, ran a registry cleaner via WinUtilities so that all traces of Safari are gone. Then did a fresh install with Administrator privileges (I even tried the install with my own login ID) but either way the result is the same -- Safari 5 crashes at random. What can I do to make Safari 5 on Windows 7 stable? Please advice.
    Thank you!

Fingers crossed, the problem reports for those errors might cast some fresh light on the source of the problem.
Head into your Problem Reports and Solutions control panel (or the Windows 7 equivalent ... the Action Center?) and look for recent Safari problem reports. Open them up and look through. • Safari has stopped working (MSVCR80.dll)

I get a Windows 7 error "Safari has stopped working". I've tried a number of things (e.g., uninstalling and installing Safari, re-installing Windows 7, disabling plug-ins, disabling Java, disabling Javascript, uninstalling itunes, ran CCleaner, Malabytes, etc.). I'm practically running barebones in terms of running apps. But, nothing seems to get rid of this error. I would try Restore before I saw the error, but the earlier dates for restoring are missing, so I cannot restore the computer to an earlier date before I noticed the problem.
The browser works fine for about 5 minutes, and then gives the error. What can I do to get rid of this pesky problem? I like Safari and want to continue using it, but I am at wits end...

Any thing else to try before giving up on using this browser??

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data.
Then close Safari. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Now reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Ever since I downloaded Yosemite Safari has stopped working

Ever since I downloaded Yosemite Safari has stopped working

    Dear Dr Mommy,
Please help us help you. MacBook Pros have been in continuous production since 2006 in dozens of variants. Which do you have? The oldest models that "officially" support Yosemite do not always run it well because their hardware falls into the "just barely" category.
Is this the slow computer you asked about last April 8 (15-inch Mid 2009; 4GB RAM)? If so, did you follow the suggestions in that thread about removing MacKeeper and some  of the other third-party performance killers that showed up?
Do any of the following apply:
    1) Are you running any anti-virus/internet security applications?
    2) Are you running any "cleaning/tune-up/optimizations" applications?
    3) Any peer-to-peer or torrent downloading software?
    4) Any third-party disk backup software that came bundled with an external hard drive?
    5) Any online backup scheme other than iCloud (Carbonite; GoogleDrive; MS One Drive)?

  • My Safari Has Stopped Working!

My Safari Browser stopped working after a sudden power outage in our area. I have tried re-installing Safari, re-installing my SBC-Yahoo DSL Modem Software, resetting my DSL modem and nothing works. When I launch Safari the only message I see is "Go To This Address" in the address bar and the pinwheel spinning. What can I do to fix this?

  • Safari has stopped working properly since upgrading to Mountain Lion.  Have parental controls in place and it will not add websites.  Also short cuts at top of tabs now all messed up!

Since upgrading to mountain lion the other day (from lion) safari has not been working properly.  I have parental controls in place but seem unable to add new web pages to allowed list - wasn't expecting to have to anyway - these are webpages that were working perfectly well on safari prior to upgrade.  Also the shortcuts above the tabs on safari are all now messed up.
Any advice on how to fix - I am not a computer expert so keep it simple please!
In the meantime I am having to use Firefox.
    Thanks

  • Safari has stopped working (common problem?)

I can access the internet through a 4 port ethernet router via internet explorer, however, Safari fails to load home page and shows the working icon. I cannot access the preferences or any aspect of the program, have to force quit . I downloaded the 28 September 2005 security update and noticed Safari slowing down. Unfortunately it is now unable to do anything. I checked to see if it was the website I was trying to access by typing the address into explorer, it loaded successfully. I have read a few topics that sound similar to the frustration I am experiencing, however I don't even get a message to say anything has failed or quitted unexpectedly. The application just keeps on trying to do whatever it is doing while freezing out any other commands I attempt. I would really appreciate some thoughts on this.
    Thanks in advance
    Graeme

    SUCCESS!
If anyone is reading this has had a similar problem, a way to rectify the problem is to move the whole preferences folder, users>library>preferences to the desktop and restart. There was a conflict between the preference files and was preventing safari starting up. You will have to go back to all your applications and set your own preferences again. you can even drag and drop old preferences files back into the library, best do it one by one to see where the conflict was.

  • Help requested... Safari has stopped working

Safari opens but will time out before opening a web-page... the message I get is "Safari could not open the page 'http://www.ireland.com/' because the server stopped responding".
I get this message for all pages I try to open.
I've had to have Firefox dmg emailed to me and that browser is working perfectly, but I'm keen to sort out the Safari problem.
It's also worth noting that my Software Update is not working at the moment and I can't gain access to the iTunes music store... problems which I feel are linked to my Safari problem.
What have I done to date?
    (...mostly from Badlydrawnboy's Unofficial Guide....posted 29 Nov 2005, 14.25...)
    1. Reinstalled Safari
    2. Reinstalled OS X 10.4.3
    3. Repaired permissions
    4. Resolved font duplicates
    5. Repaired disk (Utilities)
    6. downloaded and installed Macaroni to look after my
    system maintainance
    7. Cleared the Java cache
    8. contacted my ISP... as long is I can get online their job is done
    9. in Safari I've empty the cache, cleared History menu, autofill fields, cookies
    10. checked that I don't have any 3rd party internet enhancing applications whatsoever
Is there a solution out there? Thanks.

    Hi ebilko,
A few more things you could try:
    - Check Network preferences to make sure you don't have any Proxies selected
    - Verify the DNS addresses you have set in Network preferences to make sure they are the ones your ISP recommends
    - Login to another account on your Mac to see how Safari behaves there. This will help us to know whether your problem is local to your account or system wide. If you don't have another account you can use System Preferences -> Accounts -> [+] to create a test one (and [-] to remove it if needed)
Let us know how you get on.

  • Help! Safari has stopped working!

Safari is not responding at all. There are no error messages or error codes. I closed a shopping web page and Safari did not respond when I tried the next search. Has anyone else out there encountered this problem? What do I need to do to get it running again?

Try these steps in order. This assumes that you are running iOS 7.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data.
Now close Safari. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Safari app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Then reboot the iPad and try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Safari has stopped working to access my AOL email account.

Just recently Safari will not allow me to open emails on my AOL page.
When I try to open an email I get the message:
    "Safari cannot open the page."
and a note that this may be due to too many redirects when trying to open the email.
Firefox opens the emails just fine, but I prefer to use Safari.
Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.
    Dennis

    HI Dennis,
    Try Safari maintenance.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.
Mac OS: Web Browser Quits Unexpectedly or Stops Responding
Safari add-ons can cause performance issues or other situations
    Repair disk permissions:
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

  • Safari has stopped working it froze

Won't let me shut it down. I tried option command delete and every time I click something it makes a beep.

        Force Quit
Press command + option + esc keys together at the same time. Wait.
When Force Quit window appears, select the application if not already.
Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window. Wait.
       Safari  will quit.
Note;  Keyboard shortcut for force quit is command + option + esc, not command +option + delete
