Safari Interface Language

How can I change Safari interface language?
Safari interface language base on OS language setting, now I want to use English Safari interface in Chinese OS.
What can I do?
Windows system.

Thanx! I finally solved this problem with language. But I use a little different procedure, than you write.
When I try to do it exactly as you say, by rename or delete folder "en.lproj" first and then rename folder "pl.lproj" to "en.lproj" it didn't work. On start, Safari first display communicate (in Polish, actually) "Wait! Windows configured Safari system" and "Necessary files are downloaded..." with progress bar, then Safari start, but still in English.
But I try to do it in a little different way. I copy all content of "pl.lproj" into "en.lproj" folder, overwriting existing files. Finally it works! Now I have Safari with Polish interface. Once more thanks!

  • How to select Safari's interface language on Windows?

I am using Safari 5 for Windows on a Japanese version of Windows XP. Even though Apple claims on http://www.apple.com/safari/features.html that "Safari is available in 16 languages and can spell-check in 14 languages." I can't find a way to select the interface language, and it always appears in Japanese but I prefer English. Is there a setting for choosing the interface language?

I also want to know it.

  • How to change the iPad interface language from Chinese to English?

On my iPad's 'Settngs' software I was selecting Chinese and Arabic keyboards to enable input in those languages which I am learning and went on to activate those languages in other settings also.   This somehow changed the interface language to Chinese and now program names and menus in 'Settings' program are all in Chinese which I cannot understand and thus cannot go back to English.   How to change to English language without having to restore or reset my iPad as I do not want to loose the data in it.
    Thanks

My computer's default language is spanish. Is there any way i can change safari's language to english?

    Change your OS X language
Your Mac is set to display the language for the country in which you bought the computer. For example, if you bought your Mac in the United States, your Mac is set to English. If you bought your Mac in France, your Mac is set to French. But if you prefer to use a different language, you can.
If you bought your Mac in the U.S. but English isn't your preferred language,
you can switch the language via drag-and-drop.
Open System Preferences and click Language & Text.
    Click the Language tab.
In the Languages pane, drag your preferred language to the top of the list.
To apply the language throughout your system, restart your Mac or log out and log back in.

  • Interface language popup appears repeatedly & unexpectedly  :-(

    Hi,
When Acrobat is open in the background and I am working in another application in the foreground (especially in MS-Word) I often (every 5-10 minutes), and unexpectedly, get a popup titled "Adobe Acrobat" forcing me to choose a language or press Escape to cancel. Maybe it is responding to a certain keyboard combination I am pressing, but if so it must be a very special combination of keys and durations, because I just can't discover what that combination is.
This is very annoying in itself !!
But worse - I once selected 'German' (or was it 'Deutch'?) by mistake and then my Acrobat became German!
I then spent 30 minutes trying to change it back to English from the German menus and dialogs (and I don't know German!) and eventually gave up. I succeeded going back to English only after the popup with the languages appeared again (this time I was very happy to get the popup :-))
I am using Acrobat 8.0 on XP.
What can I do to stop this popup from appearing, or at least remove all other interface languages except English?
    Cheers and thanks in advance!

  • Change interface language in downloaded programs

I installed several programs from the Creative Cloud and saw afterwards that they use Dutch as "interface" language.
(I saw only after the installation that there is a option in the Adobe Application Manager Preferences (hidden under my name) to choose the installation language.)
Is it possible to change it back to English because I am used to use them that way?  (In the "Program preferences" from for example Photoshop, I can only choose "Nederlands" (Dutch)).
Do I have to (and can I) install them again with the new language preference set to English?
    Yours sincerely,
    Joost Deprez

    Dear Manish & Arpit,
It works fine after reinstalling the programs with "English" as my preference (like you both told me to do).
Thanks a lot for your fast response.

  • I have installed the photosop cc as a finnish language version. It was a mistake and I would to like to chage the interface language into english. How do I do it?

I have installed the photosop cc as a finnish language version. It was a mistake and I would to like to chage the interface language into english. How do I do it?

Here is a screenshot guide, if you need it.  First open the CC Panel and from the cog choose Preferences.
Select your language and Photoshop should now have an install button which will be your desired language.
    Go ahead and install.
When that step is completed, go into Photoshop Preferences > Interface and choose your newly installed language.
Restart Photoshop for it to take effect.

  • Add new Interface Language

    Hi,
Just a quick question, it's possible to add a new interface language in the "preferences" option? If yes, how?
Using the tools page we can edit the strings, but that's not the same of having a new language available...
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Pedro

    Pedro,
In the Preferences section, all the languages currently supported should be appearing in the dropdown. Changes to language preference only will change the titles and phrases that are part of the interface. It does not translate any user entered items, like comments, descriptions, or the names of Initiatives.
The String Administrator can be used to change individual areas in the application, a common change is replacing Initiatives with Projects. Any customizations made in String Administrator wouldn't be translated into another language when those Preferences are changed.
    Regards,
    Bob

  • How do I change my ADE interface language?

This is one of my pet hates - just because I download the eBook in south-west Switzerland, Adobe decides I want my ADE interface in French! Breaking news, Adobe: Geneva has a large population of people from all over the world. My language is English. I can speak French and German but that's not the ******** point!
How do I change my interface language to English - which is, after all the language in which I downloaded the flipping software? I cannot find a language option anywhere in the ADE interface. I HATE this assumption on the part of software distributors!!!

You can't do anything except change the Loupe view's background colour. Go into Loupe view (E) and right click the background.
Part of LR's design philosophy was to design things right and not just copy how other programs may do things. So you don't get lots of equally-right ways to do the same task, or the kind of preferences and options or draggable panels that you see in other Adobe programs.

  • CS5 change user-interface language

A lot of PS-actions are written in english but I have PS in dutch. Is it possible to install a second interface language in CS5 or PS5.1 ?
The problem appears mostly in the given layer-name. For example; action Select "Layer 1 copy". PS can't find this layer because in dutch the layer automaticly named:"Laag 1 kopie".
So, I need only an english interface language to run actions. Is there a possibility to download this for CS5 ?

In the new versions (Creative Cloud) there is only one way. Reinstall application via CC app. So unistall application e.g. Illustrator, then go to Creative Cloud application and in the options panel > Apps you will find application language. It will be the OS language by default. Change it and install application from this tool once more.

  • On the middle interface language

Big Brother Big Sister were all good
Recently I undertake to an Arabic typesetting character, so I downloaded and installed InDesign CC Middle East edition, the interface language is English, English I am very poor, there is no way to turn the Middle East version of the language change into simplified Chinese version or let Chinese version supports Arabic writing and publishing.

Warranty is worldwide. He can take it to a Dutch Apple Store without worrying
    Best of luck.

  • HT4208 App store user interface language

Recently, the user interface language of the App Store turned from German to Japanese. How can I set it back to German?

The iTunes and App store will usually only display the language of the country you made the subscription I can only down load from Japan iTunes and sometimes they do not have Apps or what ever but someties it depends on you language prefferences too ,it is quite annoying and confusing I use Finnish and English Swedish.
Apple is not altogether internatonal because of international agreements and local protectionism that is why there is no Finnish dictionary and spell checker
we are bound by the laws of the country we live in at the present and Apple and any other company does not want us to mixit up ,but they the internationalists Capitalists can do this  like make Apple pruducts in China cheap labour.
yet it took years for Chinese to get Apple products ! Apple Japan is not very popular beause Japanese do not like the translations of Japanese by Nissei Japanese who live in the US!
Look at all the language preferences  in Apple OSX they do nothing I use about 5 languages and find a total mix up my keyboard does not know what I am using better to have different computers install different language.

  • How 2 change interface language???

    Hello,
I have just installed LR 1.2 and I would like to change the interface language because it is automatically the same as Windows XP language. How can I set LR to be in English whatever language is selected for Windows?
    Thank you.

You can also launch the installation with the /L<LanguageID> switch (1033 for EN, 1036 for FR, 1031 for DE) but this will set only the language DURING installation.<br />LR always launches with the language set in Regional Settings, so changing your settings temporarily to english for the instalation will not work.<br />Renaming or deleting the language folders you will NOT use in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.2\Resources" (on PC) seems to be the only solution
