I can't Find The Safari navigation button

If you mean the icon that used to show you thumbnails of your open pages, then in iOS 5 it's been replaced by tabbed browsing - a new tab is opened via the '+' to the right of the tab bar and you close a tab via the 'x' on the tab (unless it's the last tab). Locking address bar and navigation buttons Safari

With the new iOs 7 I have several issues with Safari.
Whenever I scroll down a page in Safari the navigation buttons (back/forward) dissappear and the address bar becomes a lot smaller. Any way to disable that?
Is it possible to show the full URL always?
The Google search box is missing, is there any setting to restore it to a seperate box instead of via the address bar?
Browsing through the open tabs now looks like a card catalog, not really an issue but only half the page is visible where it used to be the whole page.
Everything has changed so much, aggressive colors, buttons that don't look like buttons. I wish I could tweak everything a lot more.

Really really need to see the full URL in the URL bar. A top level domain alone is pretty much worthless and makes web browsing extremely difficult. How do I restore the full URL??

Slideshow navigation buttons not working.

Having had the slideshow navigation buttons that exist below my photos (back, pause, forward) working fine for some reason they are now coming up as question marks in Safari and error boxes in Firefox and Explorer. I have not made any changes to my site but have republished since discovering the problem but it still remains.
I have looked for the cause in iWeb but have no idea what will remedy this.
Any help much appreciated.

Caused by the recent update from .Mac to MobileMe and out of our hands for fixes.
The trouble is caused by some of the links create by iWeb that point to files found on Apple servers (not your iDisk). They are usually created inside the javascript files (.js) and use incorrect URL's that previously worked when linked at .Mac but now fail at MobileMe.
Since it is a javascript file a Web browser status bar (bottom of the window) shows a javascript:void URL but a click on the link in our iWeb (and Homepage) pages is not finding the correct Apple server files (they are not part of your iDisk and are hosted on Apple servers).
Odd thing is that some of these URL's do work and others fail. Some do not show the mouse over change (to the pointed finger icon) but clicking in the space where they should appear triggers the javascript.
Someone at Apple will be working late into the night to "fix" what they broke.

Using the Safari Back button to navigate?

Why is it when I'm navigating the Support communities and I use the Safari back button it always goes to the top of the list and not to the list that I have already expanded. It gets pretty annoying to have to keep expanding the topic list to get back to were a left off.

Every "List" you see is sorted by activity - latest first. If you navigate away, then back, you are reloading the page with a new set of activity.
If you wish to use a list as a "Home Base" after using "Load More", COMMAND > Click the link (Title?) to open the thread in a new TAB. when finished, close the TAB and you will see your Home Base as you left it - likely with the thread you chose Underlined

Navigation Buttons Missing

For some strange reason, my navigation buttons in Safari and Finder, as well as other OS x UI screens have vanished. The button placeholders are there, but the graphics are not. This is also only happening in one logon account. I assume a preferrence files somewhere is corrupt. Is there an easy fix to this? On a side note, this was likely caused by temporily running out of hard drive space. (MacBook Air)

Menu navigation buttons do not appear when viewing page on iPhone

My webpage shows the menu navigation buttons on all browsers and platforms but when viewing on an iPhone they are not there. Hence you cannot view other pages. Is this a restriction of pages created in iWeb or am I doing something wrong?
I have trawled through the discussion forum and tried tips such as the height of the menu bar from the top on the page, pixel width and making sure the menu box is at the front or brought forward.

Navigation buttons don't work in Chrome

Hi,
I have 6 navigation buttons across the top of my page (Home, About Us, Services, Your Policy, Why Choose Us and Contact Us). Two of the buttons have sub menus (About Us and Your Policy) which appear when I hover. From the home page the sub menus do not appear, if I click another nav button ie Services then the submenus appear when I hover and I can pick a menu item. As long as I do not click the Home button all is well. I click’ ‘Home’ the subs don’t appear again.
This doesn’t happen in IE but in Chrome and Safari.
I am using Dreamweaver 5.5
Any suggestions.

What that button does is sync your tabs between your devices. So if you have multiple macs with Mountain Lion and/or devices with iOS 6 (once it comes out this fall) you can pick up where you left off. For example, let's say I have apple.com, nytimes.com, and facebook.com open on my mac, but I need to run. Print, Export and Page Navigation Buttons in the Report

When I view a report through CR4E, the generated report has 3 buttons namely Print, Export and Page Navigation buttons. But when I click on either of the buttons I get a 'null pointer exception'. Looking at your code it appears that you are storing the ReportSource in session prior to passing in the ResultSet. This will create a problem when a postback is made on the viewer page (which all of the viewer actions do). How do I create more than one navigation button in Adobe Fireworks CS6?

Hi guys,
Apologies if this comes across as very stupid question. I am a complete beginner with Adobe Fireworks and I'm in the process of creating my first website and I have got to the stage where I want to create navigation buttons and the book I have recommends using Adobe Fireworks so I have downloaded. My problem I have encountered is after I have created my first two state button what is the next step to create another two state button which has the identical size and colour of the previous two state button?
Here is a brief rundown of the steps I have done to do the first two state button:
1) Edit-Insert-New Button
2) Chose the rectangle and then specified the width and height of the button and chose my stroke and fill colour
3) Centred the button and used the text tool to put the button as a 'Home' button for my website. I then went on Window and Align in order to centre the text on the button
4) I went on Select-Select All and then went on Windows-States to open the states panel. I right clicked on state 1 which is Up and clicked on copy to states. I then selected the next state radio button and clicked OK.
5) I selected State 2 and slightly modified it by changing the colour of the text.
6) I then clicked the back button to return to the main window.
After this what step should I take to create my another button which has the same size, colour and text style as I have created for the first button? I tried just repeating these steps again but when I do step 1 it creates a new fireworks document which means I have to create the buttons size, colour, text style from scratch.
Your help would be greatly appreciated guys and once again I do apologise if this comes across as a silly question.
PS Please could you let me know if the steps I have taken to create the 1st two state button are correct

Initially you need to configure via the provider's own web based control panel multiple e-mail accounts. If they don't have one, work it out with their customer support to have three distinct mail accounts. Then you can setup multiple logins by adding new accounts to mail. Since mail checks all accounts per Mac OS X user account simultaneously, it probably is best to use different usernames on the same internet provider. If you don't want mail to show all the information from all three mail accounts simultaneously, configure Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Accounts to have multiple users on your computer, and configure each of the internet service provider accounts for each separaet user on Mac OS X.

Adding Navigation Buttons for Users of PDF Documents

The default for Acrobat Reader (and even the Pro version)
seems to leave the Forward and Back navigation buttons OFF the
Acrobat Reader tool bar. You have to deliberately go into the Tools
- Customize Tools menu and turn on these two buttons in order for
them to appear in the tool bar. This creates problems for readers
of your PDF documents if the readers of your documents aren't very
computer savy. If you have links in your PDF document so readers
can navigate around, not having the Forward and Back buttons up on
the tool bar as a default makes these links almost useless. The
reader has to know how to turn these two buttons on and some
readers may not have a clue how to do that.
My question: Is there a way to put 2 navigation buttons on a
reader's toolbar AUTOMATICALLY when they open your document--ie,
something embedded in the PDF doc that automatically turns these
buttons on for the reader so they don't have to do it
themselves?

How can I replace navigation buttons with obvious ones?

I've just taken over this website for a friend and opened it in Dreamweaver but the code is such that the existing four little square navigation buttons at the top of the page don't show up in design view (these change the book images). The client wanted some more "obvious" buttons there because people are not understanding that those little squares are buttons. Arrows may work better. Can anyone advise?

Document Numbering Series and navigation buttons in SBO

Hi there,
A new set of document numbering is created for new financial year.
e.g. SO11-100001 is for financial year 2011 and SO12-100001 is for financial year 2012.
Due to this setup, we have encountered a problem to use SAP navigation button to search between documents such as when I continue to click u201CNEXTu201D button, the documents would be popup in following sequence:
SO11-100001  SO12-100001  SO11-100002  SO12-100002  u2026u2026
Is there a way to just navigte through SO12 series documents only?
If I use series grouping under "Authorizations", this will totally block the previous year's documents. There may still be open docuemnts from last year and therefore, using "Authorizations" is not a wise option.
If there is a workaround, kindly share with me.

Often when people think they've deleted an application, what's really happened is that they deleted its icon from the Dock. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A to open the Applications folder. If the application is in that folder, drag it to the Dock (not to the Desktop or anywhere else.) The other Dock icons will move out of the way to make a place for it.
