Safari no longer shows a tab's load status - anyway to get it back?

After upgrade to the latest Safari in Mountain Lion the behavior of reloading a page changed. Now it's only indicated by the URL bar wooshing blue from left to right after the current tab has loaded.
In previous versions of Safari a tab which is loading had an indicator on the tab itself. This was useful. For example, I might be running a process in one tab while working on another tab and the indicator let me know when the process in the other tab was done.
Does anybody know of a way of getting that indicator back?

Ah well.
The only reason I like Safari in Mountain Lion are the new Share features, which are much improved. I'll try the other well-known browsers, like Chrome, so see what's up.

"Show Bookmarks" in 6.1.2 no longer shows visual of webpages bookmarked. Can I get it back like before the update?

Show Bookmarks has changed with the last update I recently did.
I really like the visual panel of the urls and a slide bar to select a bookmark with the description of the url, and the date I bookmarked. It's all gone in 6.1.2.
I look at my old MacBook with Safari 5.0.6 and it so much better.
I hate doing updates on my devices. Everything is for security, and then the beauty and utility of what I'm used to and love is gone.
I won't update my iPad 2 to iOS 7 because the flat and neon colors is ugly.
I don't want to go to Mavericks from 10.8.5 because I don't see what changes are better.
I want the prior Safari version. "Seeing" is how my brain works fast.
Can I get the prior version for Show Bookmarks?

It is sad that Apple's visual user interface is being eliminated, reduced and made common.
Jonny Ive changed things on the iOS and OS for the worse by these sorts of design and user changes. He may be all-genius of thin and aesthetic, but the direction he is taking the software is very retrograde. Like Steve Ballmer would think.
I do not like the way things are going with Mac, OS, iOS and deprivation in behalf of what gained value?
When they say update for security and take away your experience that you value, they are depriving you of the magic.
The Edit page is soulless, and it deprives me of information I value. Where's the date of Bookmarking? So, I've lost the images, the slide bar interface and the data.

Make sure there's enough free space on the startup disk.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop.
Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available.
Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.
If there's sufficient disk space, the startup disk may need repairing.
Launch Disk Utility located in /Applications/Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
You will need your install disc if the startup disk needs repairing.

How did you delete the Note? If you did a "select all" and "cut", open the Note and shake your iPhone to undo the cut action.

Thanks, but there's nothing in there I find that tells me how to get my Menu bar back. All of chatzilla's options are in the menu bar for any settings to be made. Without that, I have no hope of fixing what went wrong. I tried removing and reinstalling chatzilla, but that didn't work. My problem is that I lost the menu bar at the top of the chatzilla window. If I can't get that back, then I'll just have to deal with it until I'm able to buy a new machine, which I need anyhow. But being as this happened from something I did, there should be a way to undo what I did, or at least get back the menu bar.

Safari no longer shows the browser when I open it. No magnifying glass. Where has it gone?

My Father-in-law used my computer yesterday and now when I open Safari it no longer shows the magnifying glass/browser. I have tried to restore from backup and reinstalling but these do not work. It seems as though he did something to turn disable it. I know I know "ours is not to reason why.." But how do I get it back? Thanks.

I have an iPhone 4S. My keyboard no longer shows up
from Safari app. It still appears for other apps.
Any idea what happenned to it and how I can get it back?

First double click the Home button. When the multitasking bar appears hold down an app then remove all apps from the bar by taping the little red minus.
Then hold down Power and Home buttons together until Apple logo appears. Release and wait to reboot.

Safari no longer shows URLs or back button

Yesterday Safari stopped showing the URL line and back button. Can anyone tell me how to possibly get these back? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Does pressing commandshift\ help?
Alternatively, go to the View menu at the top of the screen and choose View -> Customize Address Bar... From there you should be able to drag the items back onto your toolbar.

My MacBookPro no longer shows up on my devices that is associated with my AppleId. Any suggestions? I did go to ITunes and follow the instructions on how to add and delete but it is not giving me the option to add. Just had new hard drive installed and restored from time capsule without any other issues.
Operating system is 10.9.4., Processor 2.7 Ghz Intel Core 17, Memory 16 GB, 1333 MHz DDR3, Storage 526.65 Free out of 999.35 GB. and I did not update to OS X Yosemite. (Because I've heard negative things about IPhoto and I'm working on several photobooks right now.
Not sure if any of the information about my laptop is needed or useful, but thought it may be so am trying to be helpful.

When you say associated devices - are you referring to authorized devices within iTunes (i.e. devices that are able to access your iTunes account)? Or do you mean your registered devices when you log into your Apple ID on Apple's website?

The mall grid button in the upper-right corner of the page that toggles the images on and off in a new tab is missing how do I get it back?

I had a problem with some malware/adware by the time I got it removed it had altered much of Firefox.
I have managed to correct everything apart from the thumb nails of frequently used sites on a new tab. I know there should be a 3 x 3 grid in the top right corner but it doesn't show. How do I get it back, please?

I removed an app from my "Purchases" tab list view - how do I get it back?

Hi all
Went into app store, clicked on "Purchases" tab and it displays a list of my Purchased appstore items. I was having an issue with Growl (going from non-AppStore to App Store version) and needed to re-install it.
I inadvertently clicked on the "x" button next to Growl in my Purchase History and now it is gone.
Is there any way to get it back in the list? I know I can install/re-install Growl from the application page in App Store.

Found the answer in another thread (kind of), but I don't know how to link to or credit the post that pointed me to the approach of looking in my iTunes Account section (sorry). Poster was @staticshokx
The trick is to go to "View My Account" from menu
Login to your Apple Store account
Under the Heading "iTunes in the Cloud" there is a blue text link "View Hidden Purchases"
Click on it, and then you can un-hide any apps that you have previously hidden from your purchase hsitory.
Hope this helps others.
