Safari Not Able to Open .Mac Web Gallery

This is a very unexpected error. A friend sent me his web gallery link and Safari is not able to open the page. An error message appears:
"This browser is incompatible with .Mac Web Gallery.
We support the following browsers:
Mac OS X
Safari 2.0 or later (requires Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later)
Firefox 1.5 or later"
Now that is very unexpected because I'm using OS X 10.5.1 and Safari 3.0.4. Wouldn't you know that I can launch it just fine using Firefox. I don't want to use Firefox and thought I would be able to use an Apple product (Safari) to actually open Apple technology (web gallery).
This is the only issue I've experienced after Leopard upgrade and the most annoying. I've provided Safari Bug feedback, but I don't expect a response.
I'm looking for someone out there to help me through this issue. Otherwise, I hope Apple is listening. Don't give me a reason to switch back to FireFox.

From previous postings here it seems to be a problem with the .Mac Gallery rather than Safari. Anecdotal reports seem to suggest there is insufficient bandwidth on those servers and when they get bogged down they mis-report the error message you saw.
Check in the [.Mac Web Gallery|http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1199] forum to see if they have some more concrete information.

Their seems to be some problem with my internet. I hope i can get some answer to it. After i had my firmware update for my macbook (leopard 10.5.2 combo updated), it became very slow and gave me kernel panic. Last week i had to format my HDD and re-installed Mac OSX. Now i see some very serious problem. Neither i can use my macbook to log in to dicussion forum and not able to open any secure websites like facebook.com, hi5.com and microsoft.com and support.apple.com. Its pulling my nerves.

I am not able to open any web site. I get an "Unable to load page" message.

Firefox crashed last night. When I tried to reopen, it gives me "unable to load page" error. I tried several websites and same message. I removed firefox and re-downloaded it. Same thing.

have you tried to reboot and hold in the option key so you can the boot menu where you can choose to boot into osx?

You have a "NoClassDefFoundError", so a code snippet won't help.
XI Release 2 -> XI 3, then jar files have been renamed and object files refactored.
You've ended up with mixed XI Release 2 and XI 3 jars.
Remove your jars and re-add from XI 3.

Not able to open Mac mini with regular users?

I should never work when I am tired. Using my MBPro to administer Lion Server 10.7.5 on my Mac Mini, I changed the settings from using the server as a .local to a registered **.com. Now at the Mac Mini I am unable to log in with any of the normal users.
Trying to figure out if I should uninstall Lion Server or use time machine and go back a few weeks.
Any thoughts ?

    Turn those off and relaunch Safari.
    Turn those on one by one and test.
2. Use free AdwareMedic to remove adware

Sharing to .Mac Web Gallery

I am in the process of creating a web site which will contain video. I have been able to insert hyperlinks in the right places but all of the sudden two things happen; iMovie 08 will not upload (share) to .Mac Web Gallery-getting message saying to verify account settings (it is correct) and also to check internet connection-nothing wrong there either. In the iWeb side of it after inserting the hyperlinks the programs takes its time and comes back with a message saying in effect the same as in iMovie.
Can anyone help with his? Would appreciate it.

"Every time I select Share>.Mac Web Gallery the window comes up showing it is connecting, then a second window comes up saying Already a member? Click Sign In to enter your .Mac member name and password. Since I am already signed in (idisk is functioning fine)I click cancel, sign out, then try to share again. When the second window opens up I click sign in, which I do, and .mac show me signed in, but nothing happens with imovie. If I try to share again, the same windows come up."

okay well they got me to take out some .plist files to see if that would help it didn't. I'm not sure what ones that they deleted for my self maybe someone here would be abel to tell you what ones to take out but didn't work the one that came close to working was this going into keychain and deleting the account(s) then reading them again.
if you are to do this please back up first with Time Machine. You can do this with a usb drive.
Okay so go back to where you had internet accounts and make sure mail is shut. click the - on the account your having problems with then quit system preferences.
Okay so then press cmd and space bar at the same time then type 'keychain access' into the search then click on 'keychain access'
once it is open go to the top of the window and put your email address that you are having problems with.
once you have put in your full email, have a look at what comes up i deleted things in the kind colome with 'internet password' and anything with under name that had smtp.gmail.com or imap.gmail.com so it would look like this, map.gmail.com - internet password.
right click and delete them. make sure not to touch any other files that dont say them things on them.
Once you have done this quit keychain access and then restart the computer, once the computer is restarted go back to system preferences and internet accounts and re-add the account.

We just discovered an issue where a user logs into a SharePoint site using Forms based authentication. When clicking on an Office file they get
'Sorry, this site hasn't been shared with you' message:
The user can download the file and can also open the file within the browser (Office Web apps). This SharePoint site is on a Web app that uses mixed authentication (forms for external partners) and Windows/Kerberos for internal employees.
When logging into this same site as an internal user I am able to open the file just fine.
I checked the 'Microsoft Document Connection' settings and selected and deselected 'Enable Basic Authentication' and neither helped.
I also tried to add the site URL under 'Microsoft Document Connection' -> Add connection -> Connect to a SharePoint site. When I put the site URL in and click 'Connect', I get an error saying that 'Only connection to SharePoint or OneDrive
servers are supported' message. If I try the same thing as an internal user using Windows/Kerberos authentication I am able to connect to the site just fine.
Any ideas??

As you are using Form Based authentication to open the documents from SharePoint site, I recommend to check the things below:
Make sure that the user has permission to view the documents in the site.
Please select "Sign me in automatically" when you sign in the login page.

.Mac Web Gallery crashes Safari

I am replacing our old iWeb photo pages with a .Mac Web Gallery. I've got 63 Albums that I've turned into galleries. When I try to load the main gallery page I get this error from Safari:
*A script on the page ".Mac Web Gallery -" ( http://gallery.mac.com/maximum ) is making Safari unresponsive. Do you want to continue running the script, or stop it?*
I think the two options were Stop and Continue, but which ever one I click the alert box just pops up again. Force quitting is the only way to stop them.
I've been refreshing the page after every few album additions and didn't get this error until after the 60th gallery was added. Has anyone else gotten this error? How many galleries/photos did you have?

I have gotten this error also. When I reached around 40 albums i started to notice it in firefox. I then tried it from a few different computers using IE 7, Firefox and Safari and was getting the same error. You are correct in the Stop and Continue. If you hit continue it seems to not load the page correctly.

Colour washed out in .Mac web gallery viewed in Camino, but OK in Safari

The colour of images exported to .Mac web gallery viewed under Camino is washed out, but it is OK in Safari.
As Camino is my main browser, I hope that this can be fixed.
Does anyone come across this problem, and got a solution?

This can be fixed, but it's a fix for the makers of Camino, not iPhoto. The reason is that Safari is one of the very few Web Browsers that respects the Color Profiles embedded in the images. Camino doesn't. It should.

we have upgraded Hyperion 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.2 version, after this process we are not able to open web analysis reports
These reports are still pointing to old servers so, how to edit this database connection details in the new version??

I think we need to change the database connection details in the Web analysis.
goto file --> Edit --> browse the database connection then change the server name in the connection details.
