Safari not loading pages/Crashing at launch

Question

Hey there!
I have been using Safari as my default internet browser since I got my Mac almost 3 years ago, and have never encountered this problem.
Every time I try to open up Safari and load my homepage, it begins to load, and then freezes, freezing my entire computer, until it gives me the "Safari closed unexpectedly" pop up.
I can still use Firefox, so my internet and stuff is fine, it's just Safari.

It looks like your cookies file has become corrupt. Move this file to your Desktop and then retry Safari:
Hard drive > Users > YourUsername > Library > Cookies > Cookies.plist
If that works, there's no much you can do with the cookies file other than to trash it.
