Safari on Iphone keeps crashing

Since the new V2 upgrade to my iphone, my Safari keeps crashing. I will start to load a page or navigate to a new one and suddenly the Safari application crashes and redirects to the main screen.
There seems to be no consistent reason for it doing this.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I am having this problem as well with my 16 gig 3 G. I have used many different wifi access points, Edge & 3G networks and Safari crashes all the time. I do notice it more in landscape mode but this also happens in portrait. I have visited many sites but I still can not find rhyme or reason at this point why safari keeps crashing. I have cleaned the cash, history, and cookies but it keeps happening. I am very happy with my iPhone; actually I LOVE IT, but this problem is getting to be very aggravating due to it crashing close to thirty to fifty percent of the time I am using Safari (rough figures). I hope this problem is addressed sometime in the near future. If anyone has any advice as to what I could do to prevent this I would love to receive it. Thanks!

absolutely that is frustrating. if the battery life is fine there could be two things software or hardware. to find out if your back up your information in itunes and import pictures and then restore the phone as NEW then you can test it out. if it is still shutting off it is hardware related

First, create a separate login on your computer for your friend. Do this BEFORE you do anything else. Next, make sure iTunes is up to date. Then:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under Preferences>Devices in iTunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book, iCal) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect her phone, iTunes running, do not sync at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on her phone will be in her itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore her itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding her contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go.

So I open an app, crash I open up pandora radio app (internet radio) *skip skip skip* I do a google search crash then just sends me back to home screen. Any idea why my iphone keeps crashing? I'm running a 3g. I try to do a restart but still does the same thing.

my iphone keeps crashing and now my screen is messed up. my phone has been crashing for about a month now and i dont know what the problem is the problem is i dont have apple cares and my warranty is up is there any way my phone can be replaced or refunded

What does crashing mean?
What troubleshooting steps have you tried such as restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup and if no change, restoring with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup?
If no change after restoring as a new iPhone and depending on what crashing means, the iPhone has a hardware problem.
If a hardware problem and the iPhone is no longer under warranty, you will not receive a refund nor will the iPhone be exchanged at no charge. The same with an electronc item that is no longer under warranty.
If needed, Apple offers an out of warranty and not covered under the warranty "repair" price, which pays for an exchange at a significantly reduced price off the full retail sales price.

I would check to mKe sure you have enough free space on your iPad. If you are close to the limit on storage there may not be enough room for the iPad to operate efficiently.
Also reset your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.

Safari and quicktime keep crashing

if i run quicktime it crashes as does safari. this is new to me. i've been a mac user for twenty years now and apple's have been known to me for reliability, but this is getting ridiculous. does this have anythig to do w/the new intel macs?
or does safari and quicktime need a apatch?
mind you this is new, when i got the g-5 i didn't have a problem but recently both safari and quicktime keeps crashing intermittantely and it's annoying to say the least.

Based on your inquiry, I'd assume you're using one of the new Intel Macs? If that is so, there is an issue right now where Quicktime and the new procs seem to not like each other much. If you're experiencing this, try forcing QuickTime to open using Rosetta.

IPhone keeps crashing

I just bought this thing and all it does is keep crashing. I go to use Maps...CRASH...YouTube...CRASH...Safari...CRASH. Should I go return this thing and wait for them to release a phone that actually works. I'm getting tired of being a beta tester.

Timberland I understand your frustrations! I would start by making sure you have version 1.0.2 of the iPhone software. It is an easy upgrade that can be accomplished via iTunes. If you have it already or if you upgrade and it does nothing take it in to one of the geniuses at the genius bar. It is not completely out of the question that it could be a dud phone, it happens every once and a while. I know my phone crashes as well, but only when I am listening to a song in album mode and I get a text (very odd).
Anyway good luck I hope it works out it really is a nice phone when it works.

Safari and apps keep crashing

Every single time I get on Safari on my phone, it crashes in less than 5 minutes. I've had my 3G since July 11th, and I've had this problem since the first day I've had it.
My apps keep crashing as well.
Does anyone know how to stop this? It's getting really old.
I think I just have a bad phone. There have been multiple, long running problems with it since I've had it.

Restoring as a +new iPhone does reset all settings+ to "new", default status by definition. The OP also stated that other apps are crashing, and it's likely that this isn't a Safari specific issue. I suspect something got corrupted, and only a restore to new is likely to fix it.

I need help!!! I'm not smart in technology... After updating iOS 6.01 about 5 weeks ago on my iphone 4 then I tried to jailbreak but its not ready.. Then about 3 weeks ago Safari and Mail app are keep crashing! I tried to look up on google to find how to fix them. No luck.... I tried to restore with backup. I didn't want to restore without backing up... Safari and Mail are still not working. Please help me. I'm about to give up on iphone and would get new android phone. HELP!

I looked too quickly at the crash report. Usually the appearance of cookie references in the crash thread point to that area as being problematic. This is the first time I've seen a thread lined up this way. Wonder if this is something new with Safari 4?
To elaborate a bit more with Bee's helpful suggestions:
SIMBL is not a problem, per se, however PithHelmet is not Safari 4 compatible. To remove it, go to your Finder: HD>Library>Applications Support>SIMBL>Plugins folder. There, move PithHelmet to the trash.
DuctTape is a framework installed as part of SIMBL.
Go to HD>Library>Frameworks and move it to the trash
SIMBL - HD>Library>InputManagers - move SIMBL to the trash, as there is no need for it.
Restart Safari. If the above Plugins were the problem source, Safari ought to be stable.
Next, as Bee mentioned, Flash is outdated:
First, uninstall Flash.

HELP!! My iPhone keeps crashing and i cant activate it anymore

I stated having issues with my iPhone a couple weeks back when my batterl life started ending pretty quickly. Now Icant even get an hour of use out of my phone. thats no the biggest problem though... for a couple hours now my phone keeps crashing randomly. now i cant even start it up anymore. the apple logo keeps showing but nothing more happens. after a minute the scr een goes dark again. I would like to restore the phone using itunes but it dies before my computer can even recognize the device.
Now the apple logo is showing but i doubt ill manage to start it up.
I treat my phone well and i havent dropped it in many months. And when it did drop it didnt get damaged.
My phone also gets really hot whenever i charge it or generally use it. It gets so hot that it really hurts to touch sometimes...
If some one knows how to solve my problem please tell me!

Hello, is anyone having issues with the new iOS 7 update? Every since i updated my iPhone, my iTunes and various other apps keep crashing.
Anyone have this problem, then figure out a solution?
