Safari pop-up pages

I got this problem, my problem is that this spam pages come up for clean my mac, and other game pages comes up, how do i stop these from popping up? Please help me, as you can tell, its annoying, and frustrating, thanks.

Under the older iOS, when you opened a blank Safari page, Bookmarks automatically opened. However, with the newer iOS, this does not happen anymore. What iPhone and version of iOS do you have?

Pop-up allows first pop-up page and the second pop-up page (linked from the first one) but does not open the data in the second pop-up page.

The webpage has a link that says:
VIEW STATEMENT
Click the link and a pop-up opens that warns you about downloading using a public-access computer or sharing a computer with others.
If you want to continue click OKAY.
When you click this link another pop-up appears (a pop-up within a pop-up)
but it is blank.
When the process used to work, the statement would appear.
MacBook running OS X 10.6.8
When I tried it with Safari everything worked as it should so the problem is not with the bank.
I went back to Firefox (my preferred browser) and did the troubleshooting RESET.
Nothing changed.
In the Tools menu - Page Info - Permission - Open Pop-up Windows is set @ Default - Allow
In Preference - Content - Block pop-up windows is unchecked
or when it is checked the website is listed in the Allowed column.
It is the correct url because when I clicked the yellow options bar to Allow it, FireFox automatically chose it.
I also tried adding the extended url as it appears on the web page which has the first pop-up link.
Firefox would not accept it.

I think my mac is infected with a virus, every time I use the internet pop up pages appear constantly what should I do?

I think I may have accidentally opened an email attachment which was fake. Ever since I did this my mac constantly opens pop up pages with ads every time I click the mouse. I have checked in preferences and it says pop up pages are blocked but still they keep appearing. How do I stop this?

You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Step 1
From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot," "Trovi," or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
Step 2
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:

Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Then delete the following items in the same way:

Some of these items may be absent, in which case you'll get a message that the file can't be found. Skip that item and go on to the next one.
The problem may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an item with that name in the Applications folder, delete it, and if you wish, replace it with the genuine article from mplayerx.org.
This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow.
You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Internet criminal behind VSearch has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Yes, I have not made myself clear, I apologise.
I have tried downloading apps from itunes in order to set up a game for my son, when I go to click on a link, be this in itunes, or on the web, Safari revolts back informing the address is invalid. I read by coping a link and pasting into the URL, this would do it, but not so.
My goal then, is to install Minecraft for my son, I would then download an app to allow this but I am unable to get this far due to Safari insulting the address I ask it to go to
The iPad is first generation
OS 5.1.1 Software up to date.

OOPS! Too quick on the trigger to ask that question without trying anything. Sorry. Solved it by touching the bookmark icon.

That toolbar/ct plugin seems to cause problems for all who install it!
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
/Library/Application Support/Conduit
/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
/Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg
/Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
/Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit
where / is the root library on your Hard Disk.
If you are running Snow Leopard you should also look here:
Library/launchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
Library/Application support/conduit plugins
Also, as mentioned by Gilli2000:
Library/Receipts - If you read it, it has information in it at the bottom referring extensively to "CT" and "community toolbar".
Maybe it is harmless, but trash those items anyway!
Note: Safari does not support any third-party toolbars except those supplied as an extension to Safari via the Extension Gallery.

I have the iPad basic first edition. For some reason my app store app is missing. On my games when I tried to update the apps I get a message that says safari cannot open page because address is invalid, but this happens even when I click directly on the prompt message that comes up when loading game. Also, it seems that my app store app has been deleted? I don't know how to get it back. When I try to download it I get the same safari message as afore mentioned.

Swipe to seethe farthest home screen to the left. Type in App Store in the search box and see if the app may have been accidentally placed into a folder with another app.
You cannot download apps using Safari.

Safari pop up that won't go away

Ok so just like the title says I have a safari pop up that wont go away. I restored my iPhone and it still wont work. I saw a post describing this problem on the computer communities but I can't find anything to do with this on the iPhone community. How to raise a pop-up page using HTMLB

   Can anybody tell me how to raise a pop-up page using HTMLB.But don't use webdynpro.
I want to set a TextField on PAGE A,and a button ,when i click the button,
it raise up a page B,Page B contains a HTMLB tree,when i click the tree node,
The textfield value in Page A will get the node text.

In case of HTMLB you can use javascript to pop up the new page on click of the button.
onClientClick="popUpMethod();" of button call a java script method popUpMethod(). which will call the other page. below is the code for opening other page as pop up

in this method you just need to change the name of your htmlb page like T1Report.htm with your html page.

Javascript: getElementByID does not work on the pop up pages?

I have two pages that call the same pop up page to get values chosen by the users. Once the value is chosen, a passBack function is called. I tried to use the getElementID to decide which is the calling page. However, it didn't work at all. The code is given as follows:

Rather late reply... but posting it for the reference of other users...
In my experince "if" is generally clumsy with javascript. Try avoiding it.
When u call the popup function instead, in the url, pass the name of the item to the called page. Eg. say 6 and 8 are your base pages. And u r calling - say page 70 (popup page)

So on your popup page, u have an element which holds the page it came from. (6 or 8)
Further, during passback - passback function :

passelem1 will hold the name of the element on your base page.(which gets populated with the value from the popup)
On the report link that passes back the value, pass this as an additional param :
$x('P70_X').value
P70_X will store the name of the item on the callin page which collects the calue from the popup.

Safari start up page won't display

Safari start up page try's opening multiple times and finally says it can't display web page. It has repeatedly encountered an error while trying to display. You can then go to yahoo.com, YouTube, google, whatever you want. It want open apple.com though. I have reset my safari. I have safari 5.1.7. I try to run my disk utilities and a min into repairing disk utilities, an error occur's and doesn't finish.repairing.. I've went into system preferences, network, advanced, and then into proxies and nothing is checked in there except for the use of passive FTP Mode. Can any one help me out?

I ran the hardware test on the Application's DVD and within 3 sec's of running it, it came back with a code of 4MEM/4/40000000:0xa9f7a118. I know the MEM codes have something to do with memory. I've had our computer in 2 different times at Geeksquad. They've sent it off and replaced the hard drive on one occasion and the mother board on the other occasion. I keep telling them that it's probably the RAM, but the headquarters where they send it to keep's saying that in all there check's they've done, the RAM is fine. Everytime before they've sent my mac off i've had a chance to run the hardware test and gotten a 4MEM code back each time before these parts were replaced. Before the 1st replacement (hard drive) was replaced the code was 4MEM/4/40000000:0xa9f75e98. The 2cd replacement (mother board) the code was 4MEM/4/40000000:0xa9f75f18. Whatever the problem is, it looks like it's coming from the same place just looking at the code. This is been going on since the middle of Feb of this year.
