Safari pop up telling me my browser doesn't support community toolbar.

Every time I open Safari I get a pop up box that says: We're sorry, but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the
community toolbar.
Can some one tell me how to get rid of it?

In the Finder, go to the Applications/Utilities folder and open Java Preferences.
Make sure there is a check next to "Enable Applet PlugIn and Web Start".
Depending on your Jave App, you may need to go into the Advanced Tab and enable additional items.
Be aware that enabling Jave to run in your browser makes you somewhat vulnerable to some malware that is currently attacking Mac systems, so be careful in clicking on sites that you are not sure about.
Also, be sure to run Software Update and install the latest Java updates.

    Perky --
You do not need any "Cleaner" app for Macs.  I would not be at all surprised if that didn't actually damage your Mac, especially if it were MacDefender. Applejack is OK, but I'm not sure what it erased.  Do you know?
You also don't need any Virus Barrier.  That could also mess things up.
The fact that all of your browsers are now messed up indicates that it is not a Safari problem, but more system-wide.

That toolbar/ct plugin seems to cause problems for all who install it!
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
    /Library/Application Support/Conduit
    /Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
    /Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg
    /Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
    /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
    /Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit
where / is the root library on your Hard Disk.
If you are running Snow Leopard you should also look here:
    Library/launchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist

Note: Safari does not support any third-party toolbars except those supplied as an extension to Safari via the Extension Gallery.

  • Trying to access a website using Silverlight 5.1.30514.0 in IE 11.0.18 (KB3038314) "This browser doesn't support Silverlight, sorry!"

I'm trying to access a specific website built using Silverlight.  My local Silverlight version is 5.1.30514.0, and I'm using IE 11.0.18 (KB3038314) but I keep getting the message "This browser doesn't support Silverlight, sorry!"
I've seen this work on other machines using the same version of IE and Silverlight so I'm not sure what could be causing that to come up.

    What operating system?
If it's win 8+ without a pro on the end then that's a problem.
You need the desktop version of ie11.
If you see tiles, that's a problem.
    All OK?

I have the latest Mozilla Firefox 19.0.2 but the newest version of Yahoo Mail don't work, what can' i do?

your useragent (the information the browser sends to websites to identify its version) go overwritten probably by some sort of toolbar/adware. please refer to this article in order to reset the user-agent settings in firefox: [[Websites say that Firefox is outdated or incompatible even though it's the latest version]]

  • Does Firefox 23.0.1 support frames? p This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them. /p

Our webpage used to display perfectly in Firefox now it doesn't. When I view page source the following appears among the HTML: <pre><nowiki><p>This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them.</p> </nowiki></pre>
Our webpage displays perfectly in IE 8.0
''Moderator added tags to show the HTML formatting tags and text.''

You only get the "This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them." text if either frames are disabled or you use a browser that doesn't support frames (the text is in a &lt;noframes&gt; &lt;/noframes&gt; block). Firefox would display this text under normal conditions.
Note that the Menu object is IE only and doesn't work in Firefox.<br />
    See the Browser Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer;Ctrl+Shift+J) for errors.<br />
The page source also shows red code for the map tag (start tag "map" seen in "table").<br />
A lot of images seem to be missing or aren't loaded because of script errors.

  • My iPad2 browser doesn't support web pages I'm trying to view what should I do

My iPad2 browser doesn't support web pages I'm trying to view what should I do?

If they are pages that contain flash, then as flash isn't supported ( http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ ) your options are limited.
Depending on what sites you are trying to access, you might find that some of them (probably more so if they are news sites) have their own apps in the App Store which might let you get some of the content that you want (and there is the built-in YouTube app). Also there are browsers such as Skyfire which 'work' on some sites - but judging by the reviews not all sites. If you want to play flash games then you are probably out of luck if you want to play on-line though the iSwifter app might work on some of them, but again some flash games have app versions in the store.

  • How do I remove the pop up on log in We do not support community tool bar on this version of safari?

How do I remove the pop up message on Safari log in, we do not support this version of community tool bar ?

Your problem is with the Community Toolbar.
It's a terrible app/plugin that messes up Macs like the plague.
Did you ever install a customized toolbar? Like a Facebook one? Or for watching sports?
Here's how to search and destroy:
    Close Safari.
    Check here for CT Loader
    Locate and delete:
    HD/Library/Application Support/Conduit
    HD/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
    HD/Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg
    HD/Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
    HD/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
    HD/Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit
It may not be in every single location, but get it out where ever you find it.
    Restart Safari. Any Better?

  • Safari does not support community toolbar ive searched my computer for the following like people have said in similar posts but none seem to work /Library/Application Support/Conduit /Library/InputManagers/CTLoader /Library/Receipts/ctloa

hey all i know that there have been many post about this community toolbar thing that pops up when opening Safari
i have searched my computer for the things that have been posted in the other posts to delete
/Library/Application Support/Conduit     (no conduit in folder)
/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader         (i dont have input managers i have input methods but still no CTLoader)
    /Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg                (no ctloader.pkg)
/Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg      (nothing in this one either)
    /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle         (NADA)
    /Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit           (NOTHING EITHER)
where / is the root library on your Hard Disk.
If you are running Snow Leopard you should also look here:
    Library/launchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
    Library/Application support/conduit plugins
i have pretty much looked everywhere i dont even know where this thing came from
can anyone lend some advise i really do not want to take the 2 hour ride to apple to get this off my computer
    thanks so much

When you see this path:   /Library   That is your root Library.
    Open a Finder window.
Select MacintoshHD in the Sidebar on the left then open the LIbrary folder then the Application Support folder, then InputManagers folder, the Receipts folder.
For this path:  ~/Library/Application Support  (your Home library)
The Tilde character ~ represents your Home folder.
From that same Finder window select your Home folder in the Sidebar. It has a small house icon. Open the Library folder then the Application Support folder.
Move all the Conduit/CT associated files you posted above to the Trash.
    Try Safari.
I've yet to find the launchAgents.plist file in any Safari crash report in years. I don't think that's a problem.
Another way to find files on your hard drive is to go to your Finder.
From the menu bar at the top of your screen click Go / Go to Folder.
Example. Type in:  /Library/ApplicationSupport   click Go
Or type in:  ~/Library/Application Support   click Go

  • Safari version does not support community toolbar?

Why am I getting this message with safari 5.1?

The Community Toolbar does not support any version of safari.
That toolbar/ct plugin seems to cause problems for all who install it!
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
    /Library/Application Support/Conduit
    /Library/InputManagers/CTLoader

    /Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg

    Library/launchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
    Library/Application support/conduit plugins
    Also, as mentioned by Gilli2000:
Library/Receipts - If you read it, it has information in it at the bottom referring extensively to "CT" and "community toolbar".
Maybe it is harmless, but trash those items anyway!
Note: Safari does not support any third-party toolbars except those supplied as an extension to Safari via the Extension Gallery.
