Safari pop up with helpline number

I have a pop up on my macbookpro from http://virusprotectionteam.com that wont go away or let me use safari until i have phoned the helpline number which when i phoned they told me i would have to pay 70£ or they wouldnt help me, they claimed they worked for apple. Has anyone had this before? Ive tried force quit and restarted my computer but nothing has helped so far

    Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window.   Wait.
    Safari will quit.
2. Relaunch Safari holding the shift key down.
3. Turn off wifi and turn it back on.
    Turn off Wifi. Click Wifi icon in the menu bar and select “Turn Wifi off”.
    Visit another website.
    You won’t have internet connection.
    Turn on Wifi. Click Wifi icon in the menu bar and select “Turn Wifi on”.
    Select your Network.

If it isn't from something you did (like update iOS on an iPhone, or activate a new iPhone), then yes, I would be suspicious.

Safari is frozen with 1newsalert.report ransomware pop up. Help!

Can anyone help? This virus isn't behaving like the FBI one. The typical fixes are NOT working. Seems this is a new one. I'm on MacBook Pro, OS X 10.9.5.
I tried:
Force quit Safari
Restart with shift key pressed (everything remains grayed out in Safari menu)
Restart with shift key pressed and offline (same thing, everything grayed out)
Command W, enter does nothing.

Pop up message with Contract Number if Contract exists in ME21N in MM

Hi Experts ,
We have ECC6.04 system.We are NOT usning Pur. Requisition.
While creating PO by ME21N transaction code ,w.r.t. Contract if Contract is exist, then we need to find out the contract Number manually for each material in the req Pur. Org., which is very tedious task.
We can craete PO from Contract as a follow on document in ME33, but still 1st we need to find out the contrcat and then go to display of it and then craete Release Order (PO)...but it is not necessary that we will use single contract of same Vendor.
Currently , if contract is exist and we are craeting the PO w/o contract , then system gives Warning Message that '"... but does not gives me Contract Number & item No.
I'm exploring some enhancement, which will give me pop screen with the Contract Number & item No or system will directly insert the Contract Number and item in the item overview with all the detials picked up from it 9from source list)...while creating the PO in ME21N code.
Can anyone suggest, whether it is possible to achive the above by doing any custom devolopment or user exit..etc

You can maintain the contract in source list. On creating purchase order you can go to environment-source list---there you will see the contract number, item number and validity. If the requirement is to see the contract number and item number can be done in this way without any enhancement.

How do I get this to work? I don't want to be a programer!

Problem in GR with Serial Number

Hi experts,
I have a material with serial number profile. Everytime I carry out a goods receipt from PO by using mvt type 101, the serial no. window pops out by itself. The problem is everytime I carry out a goods recepit blocked stock by using the mvt type 103, the serial no. windows never pops out by itself so that it is not possble for me to input the serial no of the received material. I hope that you can give me opinions in order to solve this problem.

Is it technically not possible to record serial no. during GR with mvt type 103?
Serial number managment is not possible for 103 Mvt.(Neither System will ask for Serial No. @ 103 Mvt.), System will prompt for serial numbers at the time of GR with 105 Mvt. only.

Safari pop up that won't go away

Ok so just like the title says I have a safari pop up that wont go away. I restored my iPhone and it still wont work. I saw a post describing this problem on the computer communities but I can't find anything to do with this on the iPhone community. Getting weird adobe pop-up with foreign language characters and no download

For the last week and change, it seems every time I have been prom,ptsd to download something from done reader, when I click on the "trust website", instead of the page and download opening up, I get an Adobe pop-up with completely foreign language (several different, it looks like) characters, and nothing to click on, and no download. I'm on a Mac, version 10.8.5, on Safari. What gives?????

So all you need to do is to open the Adobe Reader app, accept the EULA, then restart your browser.
I don't know why this message is displayed in Japanese, but I have seen similar reports in this forum for the latest Adobe Reader on Mac.

Follow these steps in the IH08 ALV screen (Output)
- Press Ctrl+F8
- In the pop-up, select Asset field from the Right hand side menu (Column Set) and bring it to Left hand side menu (Displyed Columns) by clicking on the arrow towards left.
- Arrange the position of the field Asset next to the Equipment field (as you desire) by upward/downward arrows.
- Press Enter
Now your Asset column is seen at the place you have arranged.

Can't re-install Safari! Help with flash player also

I found that my Adobe flash player (version 10) is causing my computer to hang. I know this because when I disable it, it dosnt hang.
I have tried to unistall and then installing version 9 Flash. With version 9 I am still having the same problems.
I have tried to uninstall Safari (put in trash) and try to re-install (safari 4 tiger - I have a MAC OS 10.5.2) it but I am getting a message saying "You cannot install Safari on this volume. This update requires Mac OS X 10.4.11." NOw I don't know how to re-install for my mac!?
How can i fix this issue? I need to go to these website for work purposes and its very annoying that this problem wont allow me to go to these sites (www.myspace.com, www.beatport.com)

You seem to have made a number of fundamental errors.

10.5.2 is Leopard, but you need to update to 10.5.7 to run Safari 4.
You seem to have downloaded the Tiger version of Safari 4, instead of the correct Leopard version.

Don't do that - Safari is integrated with the operating system and other applications rely on some of its components.
The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

Safari comin up with weird alert message after 10.4.3 update

after installing the OS 10.4.3 update safari comes up with alert message when launched: Safari 2.0.2 (v416.12) has not been tested with the plugin (null) (null) (v0.51). As a precaution, it has not been loaded. Please contact the plugin developer for further information.

I have the same error message for the "(null) (null)" plugin, different version number. I suspect there are going to be a lot of these as people update to 10.4.3.
How do we go about removing these plug-ins, or at least this paticular one, so we do not have to deal with the error message after starting up Safari every time? Under Help => Installed Plug-ins, I see it lists plug-ins from a Plug-ins.html file within the Safari.app package, but it's not clear how to manually manage them. I do not want to uncheck in Preferences all the Safari Plug-ins from loading. For this particular error, I'm not sure I want to mess with SIMBL.bundles...

I've got a Java Applet running on the mac (written in Eclipse 64 bit) on a Mac with OS X 10.6.4 on. Also, Java 1.6.0_21 (both 32 bit and 64 bit) is installed on the machine. The printer installed is a ZPL Label Printer (Zebra Technologies ZTC GK420d).
If I use another application such as TextEdit to print, it works fine.
*Problem Description*
Whenever I try print from the Applet nothing comes from the printer, my code does not break or catch any exception at all but the printer queue gives the error: *pstopdffilter/pstocupsraster failed with err number -31000.*

We managed to solve our own problem. This was not directly a Java Problem, but a problem with the setup of the Zebra printer on the Mac. Printing directly to the ZPL Printer never worked and always gave the error Printing Error - pstopdffilter/pstocupsraster failed with err number -31000.
To solve this, we had to use the CUPS (Common Unix Printing System) interface. CUPS is apparently installed standard with every Mac. Being a new Mac user I didn't even know this a week ago. We had to use CUPS to add the printer, set it to be a "RAW" printer and then add something called a Class. Now when printing from the Java Applet, we DO NOT print to the actual Zebra printer, we print to the Class.
Here are the steps on how to accomplish all this:
1. As an Admin user, log onto Cups using the Safari browser by entering *http://localhost:631* into the Address Bar.
2. Select the Administration tab and click, ‘Add Printer’
3. Select the required local printer and then ‘Continue’
4. Enter a Name, Description, Location and uncheck the ‘Share This Printer’ checkbox, where:
a. Name = Queue Name (e.g. Zebra_RAW)
b. Description = Human Readable Description (e.g. Zebra1)
c. Location = Human Readable Location (e.g. My Mac mini)
5. Click ‘Continue’
6. Click ‘Select Another Make/Manufacturer’ and select ‘Raw’. Click ‘Continue’
7. Click ‘Add Printer’
8. Check that Banners are ‘none’ and Policies are ‘stop-printer’ (Error) and ‘default’ (Operation)
9. Click ‘Set Default Options’
10. Under the Administration tab, click Add Class.
11. Enter a Name, Description, Location and select the Members:
a. Name = Queue Name (e.g. ZebraRAWClass)
b. Description = Human Readable Description (e.g. ZebraRaw)
c. Location = Human Readable Location (e.g. My Mac mini)
d. Members = the Queue Name of the new raw printer
12. The only visible printers on the list then will be your non-raw printer/s and the printer class which you just created.
13. Now when printing from Java Code, you must use the class as the printer in order to print raw ZPL.
So in my example code in the previous post, I would print like this: PrintLabelZPL("^XA^FO100,40^BY3^B3,,30^FD123ABC^XZ","ZebraRaw");
And it works! I hope this can help others with the same / similar problem.
