Safari privacy and cookie management is not available

When checking safari preferences to check the settings the privacy settings where blank immediately after upgrading to Lion then checking later the cookies appeared in list form but subsequently disappeared and has not reappeared. Is there something I am missing. PowerBook pro 233 2007. Model

From the Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab.
Click: Show Cookies.
Type Comcast in the search field then click Remove All then click Done.
Restart your iMac, launch Safari. Try mail.
Also, empty the Safari cache more often. From the menu bar, Safari / Empty Cache.

Profitability and Cost management application not available in workspace

Hi All,
I hope somebody in this forum can help me with this.
i have built a profitability and cost management application in workspace . I have validated and deployed it sucessuflly. But when i try to open the application , i am not able to see the profitability section in the open Menu or Navigate menu of workspace.
Can somebody tell what could be the cause for this?
Some Information:
I deployed one application with "Default application group" one with "Profitabilty and Cost Management"
I created the Profitabiilty and Cost Management application Group seperately in Shared Services.

Hi Abishek,
The issue got solved after accepting the workspace server settings. Intially it didnt show me the Profitability module on the Edit mode, but when i clicked ok ( i mean accepting) it came though. Not sure how it has happened.
But it is working now.

XP PC Does not see Media Card. Device Memory and Media Card are not available.....

I am starting a new thread because the old one was marked as resolved and it isn't.
My Windows XP desktop is no longer seeing my BB Storm Media Card. I am getting the error:
"Device Memory and Media Card are not available because the Mass Storage is currently in use."
I have followed these directions:
Options > Memory >
Media Card Supoport - ON
Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) - ON
Mass Storage Mode Support - ON
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected - YES
SAVE
I have application free pace 8.1 MB
and the error message:
"Device Memory and Media Card are not available because the Mass Storage is currently in use."
The card is there and is seen by my BB Storm. Media > Explore
I have removed and reinstalled the card.
On the desktop I have tried Explore as well as Disk Management and nothing shows up for the Media Card although the Blackberry itself is present.
Please help.

Party Resource selected from the Assignment Manager is not available on Service Request.
Hi,
Im working on Oracle Customer Support and observed the following.
I imported a party (dealer) from AR and created it as a resource.
Then created a Service Request, assigned Tasks to the service request and then tried to assign the task to the imported resource using Assignment Manager.
In the assignment manager searched for the resources using Unassisted search. In the resource type selected 'Party Resource'. Found the party resources by clicking on the search button.
Double clicked on the party resource and specified the Start Time and End Time.
After clicking on the Ok button, the selected party resource is not available in the Service Request Form.
Can somebody please help me in this matter. I want the party resource on the service request form.

Thank you for your reply. I don't have access to the production instance..but I will definitely recommend the solution. I did these steps in test instances earlier whenever I had this error. But they used to go away after bouncing app server.
Now, some of the functions are available to the responsibility without any modifications..seems like it takes a while for the newly added functions to a menu to propagate in the E-Business system.
What confounds me is that even after a mid-tier bounce, the system didn't pickup the menu changes.

Help! Isync manager is not available

I am currently running OS 10.6.4 and my isync is version 3.1.1
I first encountered the problem when trying to sync my contacts from my iphone via itunes. I investigated further and whenever I try to open isync and it gives me the error message "Isync can't be launched. Isync manager is not available".
I have found possible solutions but they all reference mobile me (which I don't have) or some problem when upgrading from leopard to snow leopard, but I never had leopard loaded on my mac.
I have tried everything, but I am also new to macs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello. I've had exactly the same problem for a couple of months. I could not sync either my iPad or Mobileme on my administrator account, although I could access iSync with test data on other user accounts on the same computer.
I had "syncing disabled on this computer" when I plugged in my iPad, and "iSync manager unavailable" when I tried to run it or access Preferences in Mobileme.
This is how I fixed it:
I first closed down all my running programs to try to be sure there was no conflicts created.
Go to directory:
Users/'Your username'/Library/Preferences
Delete file:
com.apple.syncserver.plist
For good measure I ran Disk Utility and told it to repair all disk permissions, although this is probably not necessary.
Restart your computer and your devices and Mobileme should be syncing again. (If for some reason it doesn't, you might want to restore the deleted file from your trash can and everything will be as before.)

You will need that old Apple ID and password, which does indeed still exist. Apple doesn't delete Apple IDs, though if this ID was in the control of your company they may have changed the password. If so, you will need your former company to log into the iCloud account using that ID and password and erase the iPad or remove it from iCloud:

Until that's done you cannot change those settings, and if you try to restore the iPad will have it locked with Activation Lock and thereafter be unusable.

2. Format the hard disc and reinstall snow leopard.
That will work, provided your data is off the machine first.
Now how do i reinstall snow leopard as it was an online purchased upgrade from leopard.
The 10.6 Snow Leopard disk that you upgraded 10.5 Leopard from actually has the full OS X 10.6 on it.
All you have to do is stick the disk in and hold the c key down while booting, use Disk Utility to erase the entire drive, quit and install 10.6.
Of course your not going to get the free iLife that came with the 10.5 grey disks, see if you can first install 10.5 with the same methods, then setup with the same user name as before, then upgrade to 10.6
I think Apple nulled booting off the 10.5 disks, but it won't hurt to try.
Another method would be to install 10.6 fresh by itself, then use the program called Pacifist to extract iLife from the 10.5 disks.

If not:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Bookmarks and Cookies Management got WORSE!

In earlier FF versions, I was able to delete individual cookies easily from the list, why have they changed it so that now we can only delete ALL of them?
The Bookmarking Window was resizeable in earlier versions, now we have this tiny box, not resizeable, gives bad oversight, and sometimes bookmarks into wrong categories (when you "doubleclick" by mistake.
This really sucks, please bring back the old system!!!

The bookmarks window for saving a new bookmark hasn't changed since Firefox 3 came out, like 2 years ago. Try the Add Bookmark Here ² extension - the "Page Bookmarked" window can be dragged to as large as you want it to be with the + (plus symbol) in the lower-left corner of that window:

As far as cookies management goes, the Options panel for Privacy was changed for Firefox 3.5 (a year ago), but the Show Cookies dialog box is the same as it was in Firefox 2 ''(and maybe even Firefox 1., but the oldest version I now have installed is 2.0.0.20 - so I can't say for certain)''.
If you are not happy with the interface for removing specific cookies, look at the various cookie related extensions for one that is easier for you to use.

New hard drive shows in Bios and device manager but not in windows explorer in windows 7

I have added a new sata 500gig hard drive and it is recognised in the bios, but is not recognised by windows explorer, though the disk is showing in device manager as a hard drive . I have followed the example on the forum by going to computer management and rescanning disks, to no avail.
Any ideas how I can get to use the drive?

Thanks Dale (and everyone else). A cure! Sorry I did not reply earlier, but have been trying all known fixes to no avail... However. The second of your links in the last reply of yours (starting, New Drive or mapped network drive) worked with a slight variation in windows7, as follows is how I achieved joy.
Right-click My Computer , and then click Manage .
Under Computer Management (Local) , click Disk Management .
This far is as above, then I'll add comments to the existing help to show my variant.
In the list of drives in the right pane, right-click the new drive and then click Change Drive Letter and Path(s) .
Here it still did not show the drive in the right window, but below it there is a second window listing disks and one of them unallocated and without a drive letter was my new drive. IMPORTANT! This set of info may not be apparent unless you enlarge the box by dragging it, as the default only shows the top box (so I have missed it until now on all my searching). Right clicking on this gave a set of obvious choices to create a choice of drive letter, format and options (NTFS etc) and this created the drive for me. I am sorry I am vague on the box choices, but on right selecting a live drive it doesn't bring up the "unallocated" box choices again. Work Clearance Management (WCM) not available with ECC 6.0

Hi All,
Work Clearance Management (WCM) is a part of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). It is a standard functionality. This is not available with our installed version of ECC 6.0 system.
The navigation should be
SAP Easy Access > Logistics > Plant Maintenance > Work Clearance Management.
This is also not available on SPRO.
But whenever we directly enter the T Code related to WCM, it allows me to go to that screen. But if we want to customize the WCM using the same method then the SAP standard configuration is missing.
I need to get this functionality available on our system.
Is it a part of SAP software component SAP_APPL ?
But how do I get this ?
Can anyone pls help me on this ?

I think that WCM it's present as an extension set (i'm not quite sure if is EA-PLM or EA-SCM). When you configure it, the activities related in custominizg, will appear as well.
