Safari push notifications twitter, Facebook, etc.. fail

i don't get notification from twitter and facebook anymore from safari since a few weeks.. i updated safari but that didn't help... help?

You may have Do Not Disturb mode enabled in Notification Center.
You can activate Do Not Disturb from Notification Center. Open Notification Center and scroll up with your mouse or trackpad to reveal the Do Not Disturb switch. Click the switch to toggle Do Not Disturb on or off.
In OS X Mavericks, you can also set a Do Not Disturb time for Notifications in Notifications preferences. This temporarily silences notifications during the specified range of time.

I can't access Instagram when I'm on cellular data, but with Twitter, Facebook, etc. I have no problems. I've tried restarting my phone, restarting the network settings, even reinstalling the app but nothing works. What should I do?

I just finished updating my iPhone 5 to iOS 8.0.2. It was working fine after a week, and then just yesterday, I couldn't access Instagram when I was on cellular data, but with Twitter, Facebook, etc. I had no problems. I have done too many things have updated my facebook application but still it is not showing any push notification. Is there any settings that i need to do for it? Also it is not allowing me to show on mobile in facebook. Any one here can help?

ok for facetime and imessage go into settings turn them off make sure to make an icloud backup and then go to settings general erase all content and settings and then set it up from the backup it should activate your imessage and facetime

Why am i not recieving push notifications from facebook

I have an iphone 4s updated to IOS 6 and recently i have not been receiving push notifications from facebook. Before this my push notifications from facebook were working fine and for the past two days they have not been working. I have tried everything and also tried a full restore on the phone. I have deleted the facebook app and added it back. All my notifications are turned on with the notification center. Please help...

I am having this issue too! Just posted a question regarding this.
I own a 5C and spent hours on the phone to tech support who also contacted Apple but they say it's a Facebook issue and was told to contact them direct.
Facebook do not respond to individuals so I'm concerned that we are not going to get a solution. Apple don't seem bothered!
I switched from android recently and never had this problem......strange!

Clearing safari push notifications

having just updated to OS X Mavericks I am trying to install an Adobe Creative Cloud suite application but install of Adobe Acrobat Pro app keeps being stopped by message to quit "Safari (push) notification" before the install can continue. I understand this is a new feature per os X Mavericks but I have not been able to figure out how to quit it since its function is "invisible" on the desktop and the dock, not even showing up when I look for it to "force quit" on the system monitor in "utilities"
Where do I go to "quit" this notification

Push Notifications for Facebook are not mine!

Hi,
A while back, a friend of mine used my Facebook app to check his facebook profile. After he was finished, I logged him out, and then I logged back in. I still am constantly getting his push notifications, telling me he got messages, when he gets a friend request, etc. I have turned off notifications for facebook, turned them back on, deleted the app for a few days, then re-installed and still keep getting his notifications.
Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, how do I fix it? It's annoying! Thanks!

May want to contact Facebook as they are the developers of the app and may either know of this bug or if not, would like to hear about it.

Problem with Push Notifications from Facebook - MacAir

I don't get notification from Facebook and Twitter. It was working as well and suddenly stopped.

Open System Preferences > Internet Accounts
Select Facebook on the left then click -
Then click + to re add your Facebook account.
If push notifications work, then do the same for Twitter.
Make sure: Enable This Account is selected for both Facebook and Twitter.

hello, i have an iphone 4S and just intstalled the Facebook application, along with the SoldierKnowsBest app. However the notifications i recieve from facebook arent appearing in my notification centre, and i have to find out if i have a notification by going onto the app and looking if i do, i am unaware that i have any notifications and its really annoying. can anyone help me, by the way, i have push notifications turned ON!

If this were happening to me I would try resetting the System Management Controller. Next step would be to take it to an authorized service place.

Push notification in facebook

I had all the push notifications checked on the facebook app and it was driving me crazy so I turned them off but I am still getting notifications every time someone posts to my wall. Is there a delay timewise that it takes until I no longer receive them? It is set for no notifications right now.

Par contre moi dans mon facebook je ne l'ai pas donc je ne reçois aucune notification de mes amis

i went to general settings and everything was set to "ON" but it ONLY gives me notifications sometimes..i had a glitch for my Facebook app and was having problems so I decided to uinstall and reinstall and after reinstalling, the push notification seems to ONLY work sometimes and not often anymore. What could be causing this? a malware/infection for iPhone or what could be causing this?

Try first to check your facebook account settings--> notification tab.
Try to remove any app like IM or MSN that use facebook messages from the facebook account setting page.
you can also download facebook messanger app. if you create a US account i.e. put a fake US address.

Push notifications for facebook groups wont work

I got push notifications turned on in a few groups on facebook, It used to work but all of a sudden it stopped and i don't know what made it stop, Didn't do anything with the phone the fday it stopped working. it works from a friend of mine that has all the exact same settings activated, Is this a know issue ? All the sounds are working except for Facebook. I have enabled all the settings for the push notifications but they still do not work. I do get alerts but no sound. Please advise.

We are all in the same situation. It is very annoying. We have to get people to let Apple and Facebook know. It is not my phones (I have a 4 and a 5), because Facely HD, which is an app that accesses Facebook, works fine as does everything on both phone (native functions, native apps and non-native apps).
