Safari's nav bar doesn't hide upon scrolling.

Hello Everyone,
On my iPad Mini Retina (iOS7) Safari's nav bar will not hide when I scroll up, like my iPhone 5s does (the portrait/landscape mode does not matter)?

Your Safari is working correctly on the iPad. The nav bar remains in place as the is plenty of screen real estate to accommodate it. On the iPhones smaller screen the nav bar will disappear until needed.

Safari 5.0.2 doesn't hide menu bar with flash full screen mode

I have scoured these forums and others for an answer. I have deleted every little bit of Safari and Adobe/Macromedia/Flash preference file. I even tried using an older backup, which worked until I updated Safari on it.
The menu bar won't go away!
Is this a well known problem, or am I an unlucky slob?

Safari 6 progress bar doesn't include images

I've noticed this behavoiur on several forums. HTML is loaded and when it ends the blue progress bar beneath url is gone, Safari jumps the the anchor, but the images on page are still loading. I may look like the page is all set so I start scrolling but again when the images stop loading Safari jump again to the anchor which is extremly anoying. I've noticed this behaviour on Mountain Lion. On my mini at work, where I have Lion, everything is fine, so progress bar vanishes after loading whole page with images. Anyone noticed such a behaviour ? Any fix ?

Cellrenderer doesn't refresh upon Scroll

I'm finding that the only way I can refresh a datagrid
containing jpegs, rendered with cellrenderer, is by setting a
scroll event on the datagrid, then resizing the column to the same
value inside this event's function.

No, it's not just you. I manage approx 96 computers with ARD 3.2 running on a Mac Pro with 10.5.4 server.
I have this issue after running a task on multiple computers. For instance - I install an update on 15 eMacs, takes a few minutes, task is reported as completed. If I go back to the main computers list, it only shows as many as can fit on the screen (about 50), no scroll bar, but status bar still shows 96 computers. You can navigate below the bottom of the list using the arrow keys, but you won't see the computers being highlighted. +A will select all the computers too, but you won't see them, or the scroll bar until you quit and restart.
I have had to do this already about 5 times just today, as I have different machines needing different updates, and like to perform the tasks individually.
Note that this doesn't happen to me after a quick task like remote shutting down or logging out a machine, its only after I have sent an install task to more than one machine.
As for screen refreshes, they don't seem to work during a task - If I am watching a list of machines installing an application update, I have to highlight the machines over and over, to make the progress refresh. +Y doesn't work.

Another question about altering nav bar templates

I'm currently building a site using the "modern" template in iweb. So far I've been able to do a lot of customizations, which I love, but the nav bar is driving me CRAZY!
I've read a bunch of other topics and from that I've managed to create my own text box nav bar, but it's still not 100% what I'd like. Here's what I'm looking for:
I love the modern template except the rollover colour in the nav bar being red. I'd like the colour to be dark grey when rolled over just like it is when you're visiting the current page. I made my own text bar in that way but now when I'm on a specific page, that page heading in the nav bar doesn't stay highlighted in dark grey. Is that clear? I'm not familiar with web design and the language that corresponds so if there's anything I can do to clarify, please let me know. I need to know how I can get both: nav bar rolled over in dark grey AND the current page (page being viewed) in dark grey. If anyone has any information to help, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for the help. I've already done what you suggested but it unfortunately doesn't answer what I'm looking for.
In the modern template, when you're on a specific page, that page's header in the nav bar is dark grey whereas the other tabs in the nav bar remain light grey. I don't want the tabs the change after they've been clicked, rather, I want to keep the function of the template and simply change the rollover colour. Two questions:
1. Is there are way to make a text nav bar do the same thing as the template so when I'm viewing a specific page, the page's nav bar tab remains dark grey but goes back to light grey when I'm viewing a different page?
2. Thank you for the link with the HTML snippet. I had found that link last week but couldn't find it again. I don't know how to alter HTML so while this seems like a great option, I'm wondering how it works. If I put an HTML snippet in the header, is it viewable when the website is live? Is there a way to view the source code of a page?
I apologize if these questions seem rudimentary....I'm quite new to all of this!!!

Safari hides nav bar as though full screen

Lately (the last month) Safari hides the nav bar across the top as though in full screen mode; to exit this I need to hit esc twice. That then minimizes window and the nav bar shows. I can't find a way to show the nav bar in full mode (not in full screen). This is new, frustrating, and likely sending me back to Firefox. Any answers?

I agree, it should stay visible, but you can get it back with one-click by View->Customize Toolbar, then drag the "Boormark Bar" button to the toolbar. When in Full Screen, click the button:
Seems like it will stay visable in subsequent Full Screens.

Navigation Bar doesn't display in Safari

I just made a website using iWeb '09.
After i published the website, the navigation bar doesn't show up on Safari, Where as when i visit the webpage from any other browser, it works all fine,

My problem was that i didn't empty my cache of safari, did that and its all fine...
Answer:
Empty the cache of safari and hit reload!
if it doesn't work then follow the other procedures.

Chrome Browser doesn't display nav bar links

My nav bar works fine in other browsers but Chrome just shows a blank bar. Any ideas that might correct this?

What's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand?

Scroll over highlight function not working on custom nav bar links

Hi - I've created a custom nav bar in iWeb (www.HollywoodRC.com). I have it set up so that the text highlights when scrolled over. This function works in iWeb but does not work on my published site in Safari; however, works in my published site on IE. Any ideas on how to get the scroll over highlight to work on my published safari site? All the links work properly.

No. Things must have changed. I created a hyperlink with a non web safe font, LedgerD, added a drop shadow and published. I also put the same link in a shape. You can see them in this test page: Page-1 . The two items are image files but they do not contain the link text. Very strange. The hyperlink text can't be selected nor dragged to the desktop like other links, like the Click to Play links on the page, however.
However, I don't know how IE will handle it. According to this IE emulator site, http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer/, IE can see the drop shadow. But it doesn't tell us how the links will work.

Can You Help with an iWeb Nav Bar Not Displaying Problem?

I have had a website that I created with iWeb and have successfully hosted with me.com (Mobile Me) for the past 8 months. I added a new page yesterday and ever since then, the Nav Bar has stopped appearing on any browser. This happens on every page of my site where there should be a Nav Bar.
I brought up the Safari "Activity" window and when I load one of my pages in, error messages pop up that may hold the clue for someone helping out. (I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the problem.)
All the "http://..." components (not shown) load in okay, but the following "https://..." components below are followed by a "bad server certificate" error message.

I am having the same problem. I have had my website with mobile me for nearly 2 years and have never had a problem.
However my Nav Bar has disappeared on the published website. When I go into iWeb it is there. I have made some changes and republished it - a few times - and when live you can only get to the Home page, there is just a dot where all the other pages used to list.
I brought up the Safari Activity window and it tells me that only 13 of 15 items are there. It doesn't show any other errors.
I would love some help on how to fix it.

IE 8 and Nav Bar - incompatible?

My site works well with Safari and Firefox, OK with Opera, but with IE8 the Nav Bar does not show up at all. A search here shows this is a common problem - is that right? Is the only solution to hide the whole Nav Bar and make one by hand?

See How to get your iWeb Site to load in Internet Explorer from Roddy's iWeb for Musicians site. I believe he addresses navbars.
Text based navbars would be more IE friendly AND search engine friendly. However, if you have a lot of pages it can be rather tedious applying them to every page.
Since you site is already created then you can create a navbar for the first page and then copy and paste it onto all of the other pages. It's adding or removing pages that can be a drag.

Safari show all tabs doesn't work all the time

It is annoying: safari show all tabs doesn't work all the time. The little icon to the right of the "New Tab" area sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. The Shift Command Back-slash, sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. I find no rhyme nor reason for this. I have a MacBook Pro, Mountain Lion, the latest updates. It doesn't matter if I am in Full Screen or not.
I am quite confused regarding this.

First, it might be you simply put Safari in a folder somewhere. Try searching for it using Spotlight. Drag down on the screen to display the Spotlight search bar and type "Safari". If you see Safari, it is still accessible on your iPad. If not, try the following.
Reset your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.
Finally, if that doesn't help, try turning off restrictions, then turning them back on.

It was a disaster loading up my site as it changed the case of the letters and at first no pages were seen, so I had to go through and change the letters that were supposed to be cap, back to cap in every file. How to get rid of the Nav bar

I want to get rid of the Nav Bar which contains Prev, Next
Refresh and hide buttons. We can hide the buttons in that bar by
commenting writeToolBar(); in whskin_mbars.htm file. But still
unable to hide the complete bar. I am using RoboHelp 7 with WebHelp

If not, try this: Go to whskin_frmset010.htm. Find the line that start with
strHTML+="<frameset rows=\"24,*\"
Replace the 24 by a 0.
