Safari says it's open... but it's not. updated to safari 5 6/21/10

Question

It's like Safari is hiding... but it's not there. I tell it to quit and it does so, but then a window pops up and says it unexpectedly quit. I've restarted; removed plug-ins by way of instructions online (via firefox); reset (cuz it shows safari is open); removed cache; done repaired permission; still same problem after everything I've done. Pls help. Although I have firefox, all my bookmarks & personals on Safari and have no way to use. Latest "problem details in problem report for Safari (looks hideously long):

You fill find them in one or either of these folders:

although the exact location is indicated in your crash report as quoted above - look under 'Binary Images'.
Close Safari and delete them, then restart Safari and it should be working normally. Alternatively drag them to the desktop and restart Safari. then add them back one at a time, restarting Safari every time, until you find the one (or more) causing the crash.
Check with the developers of the plug-ins in question for updates that are Safari 5 compliant.
That toolbar/ct plugin seems to cause problems for all who install it!
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
