Safari shortcuts dont work for navigating through open tabs
I read that Control-Tab or Control-Shift-Tab are shortcuts that navigate left and right through open windows in Safari.
I also ready that CMD-Shift-left arrow navigates to the left. But only moves once, and if you select same with right arrow, nothing happens.
Under Settings Application shortcuts, there are no setting setup for CMD-Shift-left arrow so I guess that this is 'built in'?
I would like to navigate using keyboard shortcuts left and right through open tabs in Safari. Please can you advise as I am stuck with the above and they dont help me....

So, I have a working shortcut in PS (ctrl+tab / of which I still don't know how to change, if possible at all) and thanks to you, I can now set one in AI as well. Unfortunately, I can not set it to be identical as in PS, since the "cmd" key needs to be included in AI's shortcut assignment dialogue, but I guess, this is as good as it gets.

I would love to set my own keyboard shortcuts for cycling through open tabs in PS and AI 2014 on OS X. I found out that this can be achieved with ctrl+tab in PS, but I couldn't manage to make any of the suggestions in the forum work for AI. As said, I would like to set a more "standard" shortcut like alt+cmd+arrow-keys for both of the apps. If that shouldn't be possible, does anyone know a shortcut in AI CC 2014?

How do I change the keyboard shortcut for Cycle through open documents in PS CC for Mac?
Sorry to bug the community with such a seemingly inconsequential task, but I am seriously tired of using the awkward default keyboard shortcut for cycling through open docs in PS. I'd like to change it to what I am used in in Chrome, which is Cmd+Option+[left] or {right} arrow keys. I noticed this is not a command listed in the in keyboard shortcuts, for whatever reason. Where on Earth can I change this?
If it is not possible to do it by default, is there a plug-in or a change to the code that will allow this basic functionality?
Thanks again guys and gals!As far as I know, you can't. It's "hard wired" in. Not even Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts is allowed to change it.
However I did find this tip:
Anyway i never found tabs in Adobe application useful, instead i prefer the old school method: simply switch off tabs feature via illustrator/ preferences/ user interface/ open documents as tabs. Then in Mac preferences panel, under keyboard, just search for the “focus on next application window” field (under menu, keyboard and text) and assign a shortcut if the default option doesn't fit you. And there is now you can easily switch between open documents!.
The best part of this is that it can be used in all mac applications, not only Adobe ones. And remember, if you want this working on Indesign, Photoshop, etc be aware of first switch off the tab features so that the system could “see” multiple documents opened not only one single tabbed document.

We all know about using the Ctrl + Tab keys for moving through individual tabs. What about moving through individual windows?

Shortcut now working for last word in phrase iOS8
Hello,
After updating my iPhone 5 to iOS 8, i've noticed that the spell checker and the keybord shortcuts arent working for the last word in sentence.
For instance, I used to have a shortcut, so whenever I texted LOL and hit the send button, it would send "HAHAHAHA" into the message.
Now, if i just type LOL and hit send, it will send LOL iinto conversation.
Has anyone managed to fix it out?

Safari 1.3.2 shortcut not working for blank tabs - normal?
Just got my powerbook back from Apple with an "updated" OS X.3.9 and Safari 1.3.2. Trying things out before I zero the drive and reinstall everything back the way I had it (OS x.3.8 and Safari 1.2)
Trouble is the keyboard shortcut for cycling through tabs seems to be broken. I used to use CMD-SHIFT-Arrow Key to move left or right through tabs. Now it won't work except on tabs that already have pages loaded. If I land on a blank tab (like one of the dozen I open in advance as habit) it just dies and then I have to use the trackpad to select a new tab.
So, is that a new "feature" of Safari 1.3.2 or is mine broken? I don't like it.Thanks for the info, Tom.
I must admit great disappointment at this "improvement". CMD-Tab-Arrows worked 100% of the time in version 1.2. Now in 1.3.2 it doesn't.
For me, it makes infinitely more sense to leave my fingers on the arrows to cycle tabs because I'm already using them alone and with other modifier keys for scrolling up and down and left and right anyway. I'm less likely to mistake the arrows for other keys (remember I'm using a highly compact keyboard).
You're right this weird bracket key [ ] shortcut works even in blank tabs. However, it's definitely 1 strike against keeping the OS and Safari at the "updated" versions. Sigh. -
Most keyboard shortcuts dont work
hello, most of the editing keyboard short cuts like crtl + c and so on dont work. however the shortcuts work for undo and save, set inpoint etc. i dont understand, they are all marked correctly in the commands list..anyone??
With at least Page Up/Page Down and Ctrl+K, they are dependent on having target tracks active. Click the track selectors in the header area (far left side of the timeline panel) to activate one or more tracks. Now, those shortcut keys should be effective.

Safari fix that worked for us after persistent crashes
In trying to back up all files on our G4 Powerbook in case our hard drive was crashing (we had tried fixing permissions, reinstalling Safari after using Pacifist to take it out of one of the software updates, resetting Safari, boosting Safari's database storage cache, and then were having Google Sketchup starting to crash as well) we got this message during the backup - 'Unable to read the file cookies.plist'. Since I'd tried resetting Safari I hadn't thought this file might be the corrupted one. I went to Library/Cookies and threw the file away and now everything's fine - Safari and Sketchup are both working. Good luck!
If doing so improved the situation, this confirms that one of Safari's database files has become corrupt and is causing the crashing, and this shows up in your crash log as Thread 3 having crashed.
The blacklists from Google’s Safe Browsing Initiative (where Safari checks for 'fraudulent websites') are contained in a database cache file called SafeBrowsing.db - the file was created when you first launched Safari 3.2, and if you have the browser open, the file is modified approximately every 30 minutes.
As an alternative to turning off 'Warn when visiting a fraudulent website', which will lose you that important security feature, you should delete that database file, (but first close Safari):
Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari (this is a folder)/SafeBrowsing.db
It will be recreated next time you open Safari, and will then start again collecting details of dodgy websites.

But as Dan said, a Production database should always be updated to the latest patchset (so here in
10.2.0.4) after checking it on your Test database.
Not only it can correct many bugs but, if you have to open a SR to MOS, you'll have a better support
(sometimes, if they think it's a bug they can ask you to apply the patchset too).

Alt shortcuts not working for alt-left/right or for é, í etc

I've had this problem for a while now… Essentially, the issue lies in the alt-shortcuts for left and right where one is usualy able to 'word jump', and the creation of accented characters like é and í using the alt-e shortcut. All other alt functions appear to work fine for the moment. The alt-left/right shortcut still works when shift is held down, and highlights all the characters that have been passed over, as it should. The output for alt-e is completely blank, and the alt-left/right output is nothing, unless shift is also held.
I have a British English MacBook Air keyboard on Mountain Lion, and I have set it to that layout, and I regularly switch between this and greek for scientific formulæ. I've fiddled around with language and input settings trying to get it to work again to no avail, and there are no shortcuts programmed to that to my knowledge. I have checked on a guest account and it seems to be account specific. Ideally I'd like to keep this account without migrating everything over - does anyone have any ideas with regards to how to track down where the problem is?

hello, since i got my computer, i've been using iTunes.
i was happy, media keys working perfectly and all, but 1 month ago, i had to install WMP to run a diferent format that itunes dont support and after that day, my media keys stop working for itunes, first i think it war my keyboard(microsoft laser 5000) and a software conflict.
but now i buy a razer blackwidow ultimate(yesterday) and still dont working...
i spend all my weekend trying to figure out whats the problem, but i dont know.
i tried tutorials for similar problems, but noting worked...
and now the media keys arent working even on WMP

Is this same case with User exits and screen exits??

SatishI guess field exits have been removed in the recent versions and enjoy transactions are the latest one, SAP has not incorporated the same.
However, user exits will work with all transactions in the latest versions as well.

Tab inside JTable (works for any key but tab)

I have looked on the internet and forums for the answer to how to do this, but I have had no solution.
I have a JTable and the second column is full of editable cells. The requirement is that when a cell is being edited and tab is pressed, that the editor moves to the next editable cell. (In this case the one below it.)
I can get the code to work for pressing an arbitrary key (like F11) but for tab I cannot get it to work.
Any help would be most appreciated.
