Safari tab going blank?
Occasionally while I'm working, the safari window I have open will go white and refuse to reload. I'm always able to type in the address box, and if I have other tabs in the same window they won't blank, but I don't know why it acts this way- is there something wrong with the computer? It isn't one specific site that's causing the problem, it happens across a range of pages. I'm working with Lion software.

Hi, i have mountain lion and safari 6.2.2 (up to date)
My problem is that sometimes I'm on internet (on safari) and out of nothing, safari freezes and all my tabs go blank, if i wait nothing happens, so i have to close safari and open it to continue using it (i lost all my tabs and open stuff so is pretty bad) , sometimes if i press on new tab while all other tabs are blank a windows jumps that says that to open a new tab i must "close" or reload all other tabs that arent working…. but this not always happens.
I cant use safari really, and i hate all the others navigators.
I don't use adblock or any extension.
as i write this i will updaet flash to see if its that but i updated flash before and the problem persisted.Sure, here it is:

The little thumbnails of the open Safari tabs render as blank pages at times.
Anyone else?They are probably reloading/ refreshing the page.

Since update of Mavericks IOS 10.9.2, pages in Safari will suddenly go blank (whitepage). Is there a solution?
I have noticed also that it creates a WebProcess log almost every minute.
Everytime Safari lags and goes white it creates a WebProcess log.
Is that normal ? -
When I open Safari on my iMac, and go to youtube.com the Safari window goes blank, and will not load the website. It used to work, but hasn't for about a week now.
Updating Flash did not help. I have noticed that on other profiles on this computer YouTube works just fine. Is there a way to reinstall Safari?

Try emptying the cache and reset.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
If that didn't help, back to the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari
Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset.
If that didn't help, from the menu bar again, click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.
tried to reinstall but same issue occured
In case you are not aware, running v10.7 Lion, the only way to reinstall apps is to use Lion Recovery
Just re downloading Safari from the Apple suport page won't work. -
It started very suddenly. The tab just went blank when I tried to open a new one, and then just continued every time I open a new tab. It loads the selected website for a milisecond, and then just goes blank and says "New tab". In my own language of course. I tried reinstalling, rebooting and nothing seems to do it. I have Tab Mix Plus as a tab manager.
What can I do? Please help.That did the trick. But I had to start Firefox in safe mode, because it just went to the blank page where the Troubleshooting page should have been, of course. Thanks for the help anyway. Now I just need to get my old addons back.

[ADF-11.1.2.2] Design tab of jspx/jsff goes blank becuase of web.xml config

I had my project created in 11.1.2.0 version and got upgraded to 11.1.2.2 recently.
I think there is one following problem with new version:- When you create a new page (jspx) and drag and drop a BTW, the page at designer becomes blank. That goes for all pages under webproject. I debug and found the root cause.
under web.xml file, there are different context-param tags.
when I drag and drop BTF in jspx page, jdeveloper insert following new tag in web.xml

The problem comes when you migrate 11.1.2.0 version project to newer version. Jdeveloper adds "org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.security.FRAME_BUSTING" tag instead of replacing the deprecated tag "oracle.adf.view.rich.security.FRAME_BUSTING" when you drag and drop BTF in jspx file for the first time. As per the link by vinay, developer has to "manually" modify the web.xml content manually (if not automatically done by Jdeveloper) before we proceed with any further development in newer version.
The solution is to follow what is written in http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/docs/release-notes.html#New_in_this_Release :) -
So I run a white iPhone 5S and I recently started looking into what I thought was a faulty screen.. every time I reopened a tab in safari (usually dark images) white fuzzy dots/lines would jolt around the edges of the screen, sometimes bleeding across horizontally. It wasn't until recent research that I saw some feedback on iOS 7 Safari tabs (in the beta stage) that the anti-aliasing wasn't kicking in fast enough and the outlines were supposed to be immensly jaggerdy.. well that's still the same, and to my best guess I have a feeling that this issue has something in relation to anti-aliasing/resizing the content.

It's a little weird really.. it happens 99.8% of the time with dark photos, but only around 92% of the time with dark web pages. I did manage to screen shot it in action this morning, however only two white pixels are visible as I only just caught it (it's in different patterns each time) every other time I took one I only managed to capture a blank page with a warped web page filling out slowly; so basically the animation when reopening a tab. Ironicly if I had another iPhone 5S then I would record it in the 'slo-mo' setting but unfortunately I don't.
Has anyone else experienced/heard/seen this?

I have just updated to 7.0.3 and it's still doing ithello i have the same problem with my iphone 5 ,i'm experiencing the problem just in safari ,when i switch between dark tabs it flickering white spots dots pixels on the edge just like in your video!i have 7.0.4 and i'm wondering if i go to the retail store i would receive a replacement or a repair or something !i am going to make an apple appointment genius bar ,see if i could do something about it..

How can I turn off Recently Visited Websites when opening new Safari window?
After tapping on the two overlapping boxes on the bottom right of Safari, a new blank window appears with Favorites, but now in iOS 8, recently viewed websites are listed. How can I turn this function off? I do NOT want my new Safari windows to have history displayed of previous websites I visited. I only want my Favorites (on the top) to be displayed. Please help.

Let me try to ask my question a little more clearly:
When I tap the two overlapping boxes on the lower left (the option to Open New Windows), the new Window that appears will show your Bookmarked FAVORITES. But with my new iPhone 6, and the new iOS 8.0.2, when I tap the two boxes to open a New Window, my Bookmark Favorites show (as they always have and should), but below them, there is a dividing line underneath them, and it says Recently Viewed Websites, and has these websites available to tap.
So my question is, HOW DO I TURN THESE OPTION OFF?
*UPDATE (10.13.14): Since I have asked this question, I no longer see these Recently Viewed Websites under my Bookmarked Favorites in my new Window tabs. So I hope that Apple fixed it, or somehow it was a mistake, or somehow I changed an Option on my iPhone 6 that stopped this for reoccurring.

Wow, this reminds me of what happened with Mavericks 10.9.0 until 10.9.3 and later were released and fixed this problem.
My monitor is a Dell S2440L connected to my Mac mini late 2012 via an HDMI cable.
The monitor goes blank randomly and sometimes a snowy screen like you would see when watching a UHF
channel on an old CRT TV shows up when the video comes back on. This happens while in the OS.
I also have power management problems again with computer not sleeping properly and my Magic Mouse
being able to wake up the computer despite "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer" being unchecked.
I also have Wake for network access, power nap and start up after power failure unchecked as well.
Computer sleep and display sleep are set to "never" as I always had it with Mavericks.
These problems occurred after shutting down my Mac and restarting it this morning.
I know using a VGA cable will fix it but I don't want to do that.
Sorry for sounding frustrated but I'm not alone. So many people are having the same issue
of HDMI video blanking out while in the OS.
I love the look of Yosemite but wish I was back with Mavericks 10.9.5 where everything worked
flawlessly and I really mean flawlessly. It was magical. Not a single problem.
I guess we have to wait for 10.10.2 or 10.10.3.
I don't want to go back to Mavericks but if my screen keeps blanking out then my computer is of
no use for work or multimedia.
I'm sorry about the rant.
If anyone has figured out a workaround until Apple can issue another point release, please let me know.
I already tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM several times to no avail.

Cant get into BIOS via DEL key, screen goes blank on load RD240
Hello group, having an issue with a RD240 rackmount server attempting to bring it online for the first time. Currently in a one CPU configuration with one stick on RAM in the correct slot, using SAS. When the computer first boots prompting you to hit either DEL or TAB those keyboard commands are non-effective. Once it bypasses that screen it will move towards the LSI connfiguration utility. If you hit Ctrl +C it will say that the utility will become active after initialization. The screen then just goes blank. At that point I can hit Ctrl Alt Delete and it will reboot the server and then in the same mess again, Del is ignored, I can't boot off the CDROM, cleared the BIOS using the jumpers, nada. Any thoughts on this would be great, at this point I can't get in to configure and if I just let it boot always ends in a black screen. Checked the cables for the SAS and everything looks good across the board to me. Tried different RAM sticks, unplugging the SATA CDROM, etc. I can get into the Mgmt via the web and sensor show everything green across the board etc but something is borked. There is a LED screen on the mainboard with the number 78. I couldn't reference what that means. All drives I can hear click on, Cheetah 15k all around. Steady green light on bottom, top light out. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Try pressing F1 at the Thinkserver Screen. When Setup Bios appears, you can exit out by pressing Esc. After the screen goes blank, press Ctrl+H to get the Web Bios screen which will allow you to configure your server. I hope that this will help.

1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press the "Delete All" button
Install Adobe Flash Player.

Quit Safari.
Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
Safari > Preferences > Security
Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
Enable it.

Picture goes blank when new grad filter or brush used.
When I attempt to use a new grad filter or adjustment brush in LR3.6 the picture goes blank i.e. totally black. The history does not update and I can do no other edits until I Ctrl-Z or go to the grid pane or move to the next image. I am running on Windows 7 64 bit and I have re-installed, twice, (repaired) using the latest downloaded LR3.6 off the adobe site. I have done several integity checks which are successful and the problem occurs no matter what catalog I open, small or big. However, my LR 4 beta works perfectly!? This problem came out of the blue and the only software that I have installed on my machine recently was some Windows updates and Firetower which checks changes to my Startup processes.
AlanI have experienced this on my old machine running Win XP with 4 GB RAM except that my picture went totally white, not black. I think it happens when LR demands more memory than what is currently available.
To alleviate the problem you could try the following:
- Increase your LR Cache size to at least 25 GB (by default it is set to 1 GB). Set Cache size in >Edit >Preferences >File handling tab.
- Increase your page file, and - if possible - set your page file (a) on a different physical drive than where your OS resides, (b) on a different physical drive where your LR catalog resides.
