Safari tabs in iPad Air different from older versions?

I realized that the tabs does not show for my iPad Air safari. Instead, a ... icon appears on the right side of each tab, which requires me to click on it before being able to view my tabs. Any idea how to revert it back to the good ole tabs where I can see all my tabs in 1 go?

1, no, iPads bought in the UK will come with a UK plug. All you need is a plug adapter for it, you don't need a convertor.
2, warranty isn't international. If it's a wifi-only model then you might be ok to get it serviced in Greece if you have a problem - but you may have to return it to the UK for service.
3, from Apple no - does your country have import and/or customs taxes ?

  • Why can't I sync my ipad air to my older Dell computer????

Why can't I sync my ipad air w/ my older Dell Computer?

    Start iTunes on the computer.
Connect your iPad to the computer.
SELECT your iPad in iTunes. Look for the small device icon in the top bar of iTunes. Click on that.
A sidebar should be on the left.
Select the Music, Photos, videos, App etc. that you want to have on your iPad.,
Then click on Sync or Apply whichever shows.

    Sorry... You cannot.
Note: FaceTime may not be available, or may become unavailable, on devices purchased or used in certain countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates
Check your device's region of purchase for more information.

In safari on my iPad air if I press the + in the top right hand corner and safari closes is this a bug?

    Try this:
Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up for each open app
    then
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

NI SoftMotion:  The version of the LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module installed on the host differs from the version installed on the RT target.

    Hi Eng.Tareq
It would be better if you can give more information
    1. What is the software version are you using?
    2. What is your target hardware?
You can check the above information by open MAX -> under software tab of both computer and you target
I suspect that the software version of your host computer and the target is difference as state in the picture attached.

I currently have premiere cs4 and cs5 installed and have had no problems. I have noted on the forums here that some people were reporting problems. So the only way to realy know is make the plunge. I'm running win 7 pro.

  • Safari crashing on Ipad Air

My Safari keeps crashing on Ipad Air, is there a fix?

Sorry, a reset, etc., will not fix this problem. I and others here have been having constant problems with Safari crashing ever since iOS 7 first came out. In my case, as I've posted here, I've had this with iPad 2, iPhone 5, and now brand new iPad Air.  I have reset, cleared, reinstalled, restored, etc., you name it.  Nothing fixes this problem, which is clearly a major bug in iOS 7. Please let Apple hear from you about this problem through feedback directly to Apple:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/
There are numerous discussion threads here about the problem. Here's one of the two I started: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23889005#23889005

  • How can I have full screen while using yahoo or safari on my iPad air 2

How can I have full screen on my iPad air 2 with out having bookmarks as part of the screen

Try quitting Safari like I describe, then reset the iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
I would also suggest that you check to make sure that you have enough free space on your iPad for it to run efficiently. With iOS 8 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free.  For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.

  • How to get Safari bookmarks into iPad Air?

I have an iMac running the current version of OS X. Also have an iPad Air with IOS 8.1.3. How can I get my Safari bookmarks on the iMac over to this iPad? Because of Apple no longer allowing simple ID's, I had to create a new ID. Trying to use this same ID on my iMac, iPad, and iPhone did not work - I spent hours trying to sort that out and gave up. Anyway, how can I get my bookmarks copied over?
    Thanks, Jim

Oh, if I only knew the answer to that question. Somewhere, somehow, something got screwed up with my "new" Apple ID and the underlying email accounts. I spoke on the phone to an Apple support guy who finally gave up after 30 minutes. As it stands now, all three devices see the same email messages - very good thing. However contacts, notes and anything else on the iMac are not shared on th iPhone and iPad. The goofy thing is that those items DO share between the iPhone and the iPad, but anything I do on either of those devices is not sync'd over to the iMac. I've spent so much time messing with it that my head hurts. I wish I could simply clear out all three and start over, but the way things have worked out so far, I'd probably wind up with NOTHING working. Very, very annoying.

  • Why is there no fix for Safari's unsupported iPad Air URL problem?

With my IPad Air the Safari browser has an unsupported URL bug that needs fixing. Will there be a fix for this soon? it's really annoying.

    JimHdk,
    Thanks for your reply.
When I'm viewing news websites on my Ipad Air, like msnbc.com, there's these annoying ads that
block the next news video segment on a show The Ed Show and other MSNBC news shows.
Then an "Unsupported URL" error message is on my Safari browser. It's been happening after the most recent Ipad Air software update.
It also happens when I mirror the MSNBC website on my tv. Any ideas?

  • Problems restoring my iPad Air 2 from iTunes

This is my mum's iPad with my late fathers 7,000 photos stored on it.  They are not synchronised to iCloud.  I wanted to make sure there was a separate backup of the photos.
I successfully made a full backup of my my mum's iPad Air 2 (iOS 8.1.2)
I then tried to setup iCloud Photo Library beta and this is where it all went wrong as by the time things had installed all the photos had disappeared off the iPad.
I decided to restore from the backup.  When I did this it took 15-20 minutes.  In iTunes you could see the data usage and that there were 7,000 photos along the coloured storage bar at the bottom.  However, on the iPad the screen was blank.
Nothing seemed to wake the screen up.  I tied pressing the power button, the homescreen button but nothing.  Then I tried holding the power button for 10+ seconds, eventually holding both the home and power buttons the iPad came on but presented me with the option 'Slide to upgrade' nothing else.  Even at this stage the iTunes on my PC was still showing the same usage of storage including 7,000 photos.
However, once I went through the upgrade sequence confirming iCloud account and so on it returned the iPad to same state before the upgrade i.e. photos missing.
I've tried this 4 times now. What I have noticed is that a split second after the restore finishes the iPad screen flashes on with the normal swipe and passcode request. However it then goes blank and reverts to same as previous where I have to hold the power button until it restarts and then 'Slide to upgrade' and then back to square one.
I'm inclined to wipe the iPad and restore but worried it will just happen again.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks, John

I saw a few posts from people who's non popping iPad started popping and wanted to occasionally check in to see if Apple came up with a fix , just in case mine started. I subscribed to the thread to occasionally check any news, and partly out of curiosity.
I don't have the time or interest to read all your lengthy posts in the saga of your iPad. From what I remember, you live in Mexico and when your iPad first started popping, you tried to return it an Apple's policy there wouldn't, so you got stuck with what we all feel is a defective product. Other posters tried to help, but after a while, it seemed like all you did was complain, or at least that's the way it started to sound. Sorry if I am misrepresenting you.
