Safari update changed from english to french

I am english, in France running a pc with french Windows XP.
I downloaded Safari about 6 months ago and it arrived in english and has worked faultlessly.
I agreed to a recent auto update from Apple for Safari. Next time I opened Safari it was in french and was asking me for an access name and password. I was given no options for language and cannot find any in the preferences.
How can I get back to the original english version?

I have this exact same problem only I'm an American living in Holland so it went from English to Dutch! I also uninstalled it and reinstalled and the exact same thing has happened yet again.
Please keep me informed if you receive a solution, I would hate to have to uninstall Safari and not reinstall as I do...make that Did, enjoy the Browser very much.

If you have a MacBook, you have Mac OS X. To change its language, open System Preferences > Language & Text > Language, drag French to the first position and restart.
If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, open Settings > General > International > Language, and choose French

These applications use your system language, so you have to change the language. Go to System Preferences > Language and Text > Language, and move French to the first place. The next time you start Mac OS X, it will start up in French, and your application will show up in French

The following may help you understand about deleting photos from a library:
Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library:
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

I'm trying to sign up for the photography creative cloud with lightroom 5 and photoshop. When I click on the "buy" button is takes me to the payment page, but my country changes from the U.S. to Argentina and the language changes also.
I've tried contacting Adobe, but they're ways of contacting them are a pain in the ***. The chat doesn't work and I'm on hold forever when I call.

When I click on Images the language changes from English!

I search using Google. I then click the Images icon/tab (top left).
Images are displayed however the language changes from English to (what looks like) German. Most bizarre. Any clues as to why this would occur?

Try to clear the Google cookies.
Does it help if you set the language to English via the gear icon > Settings?

The langauage is set according to this priority:
1) Language assigned to the user (in the portal)
2) Browser's Language
3) System's language
4) JVM's Language
Check your settings.

After Effects CS4 project issues from English to French

Hi All,
So to give a quick summary of what our issue is, when a french AE designer (Using French AE) opened the project we had created in the UK (on English AE) he was getting errors mentioning that the xyz position preset was unavailable. After spending a lot of time on the support line to Adobe they told me that the issue is basically that the x, y, z position preset which is part of the animation we created apparently DOES NOT translate across from English language After Effects over to French language After Effects (not entirely sure why, might be that this is code based and that the French code and English codes aren't the same). Adobes only suggestion was for the french people to download a trial of the English language version of After Effects CS5 and make the amends and export using that.
Now being a stubborn so and so, I wondered what might be the cause, I'm guessing that the expression code is language specific, which led me to wonder whther it could literally be translated? So in english the expression is:
value + [effect("Separate XYZ Position")("X Position"), effect("Separate XYZ Position")("Y Position"), effect("Separate XYZ Position")("Z Position")]
Does anyone have French AE installed that could give us a clue to what the equivelent french expressions would be?

You should not need to take care of anything else. The internal references, functions and variable names are always English. Only the UI-centric stuff will change, that is the effect name and its control parameter, i.e. ("Slider") will become ("Curseur") in French. You could also avoid this by simply using the control index value instead of the control parameter, so ("Slider") would simply be (1), as it's the only control element. now that I think of it, just yesterday I saw an internationalizer script at AEScripts com that might be of use to you, too. If you have something odd, simply post the code and I'll have a look (or our resident Frenchmen here on this forum, Sébastien Perrier) .

HT4915 iTunes Match not updating Changes from Library and reverting to original data WHYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!?

How do I keep iTunes Match from De-Organizing my music? I have spent hours organizing my music ratings, info, and deleting duplicates only to quit iTunes and find out that it reverts back to the original when it starts up and syncs with Match. It first de-organized hours worth of my time. Then I tried it again with iTunes match off only to find out that once you turn it on it de-organizes it again!! I have iTunes match turned off on all my devices. HELP!!

Oh let me elaborate some more as my frustration kept me from being clear. I updated my library (which is of significant size) with different ratings, genre and deletion of duplicate songs. While iTunes Match was on. I closed the ITunes program and, later once I re-opened it it asked if it connect to the internet like usual and right in front of my eyes reverted what I had updated back to before I updated it.
I never had this issue before except for when I first upgraded my macbook and copied the music files straight from the iTunes folder from a backup disk which did not save any of my ratings.
I then modified a couple of songs again, closed the I-Tunes application, opened it again, and saw it revert it again.
I turned iTunes Match off on all my devices and modified some songs, restarted iTunes and the changes stayed.
Something with the "Cloud" is not allowing these changes to remain permanent. Once a change is made to a file it is timestamped right? So why is the cloud and computer not following the latest timestamp?
I have finished organizing a sizable amount of music and am now worried about turning Match on again in fear that it will screw up my entire library.
I do this about once every 5 years or so where I spend a lot of time organizing my music, photos, etc... I just wish that for once I would have technology that wouldn't make it a nightmare.
Side note: I am bilingual and recently changed my computer language from English to Portuguese. So iTunes thinks its totally cool to change the genre of only the songs that are played to the portuguese spelling of the genre, which practically duplicates all my genre. Thats pretty annoying. Just leave the freaking music metadata language alone dudes if the artist speaks english the metadata should be in english in my opinion. Or at least have this auto language update as an option under preferences one could opt out of.

Please check in Settings: General: Keyboard: International Keyboards how many there are and which.
If there is more than one you can either delete the ones that you don't use, or if you want to type on different ones at different times you can change between them using the key with a world that appears when you are using the keyboard.

IOS 5 update has switched my iTunes and iStore language from English to French in Luxembourg

So I updated my iPad 2 to IOS 5, and now iTunes is in French. My language setting is British English, and my region format is United Kingdom. It was in English before... I've tried switching to Deutsch and Deutschland and iTunes continues to be in French. It seems that the 200+ improvements included improving my foreign language skills.
Is there a way to change this back to English please?

in my case, the App Store info is now in English but the App itself is in French (recherche, catégories, sélection, etc). Tried switch back and forth the system language without success. Just annoying...

How to change Photoshop CS6 CC UI from English to French (France) ?

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, US english operating system, so when I subscribe to PS CS6 CC edition, the english UI was installed. Is it possible to change the UI (menus, help, etc.) To french (France) I live in the US but my working language and instructional materials for using Photoshop CS6 are in french, not "french canadian," but french from France. Training EU francophone clients and personnel would be a lot easier if we were all using the french interface.

It is possible to change the installed language from the Adobe Application Manager (AAM). Click on your name in the top left and from the menu choose Preferences. Switch the Language to French. You will need to uninstall the English version and then install the French version.
Of note is that some European customers select the Internation English only version of the Creative Cloud subscription. If that is the case than all languages execept International English will be a 30-day trial version.
