Safari vs. Firefox and Other Browsers

As already posted in these Safari forums, a number of people can not visit certain web pages using Safari under Leopard, while Firefox and similar browsers, and also Safari under Tiger, can. Some people can not visit certain pages at all, and some people can not visit certain pages only some of the time (i.e., "their" problems appear to be random). What seems to be clear, at least to me, is that it is an Apple problem, and not problem of our individual settings.
I am posting this example hoping that someone from Apple is reading these forums. The example shows a MacWorld page as opened by Safari, and the same page opened with Firefox. Some well-meaning posters suggested that problem with opening certain pages could be attributed to Safari-unfriendly page coding, but I would not expect MacWorld to have that problem.

Initial release of an OS is going to have oddities appear. Seems this is another one in a growing list.
Best way to get Apple's attention is either via a telephone call to Apple Care, if your machine is under warranty, or send a Bug Report to Apple via the Safari Menu.

Might be an incompatible extension or plugin ...
Try troubleshooting Safari extensions and third party plugins.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

Does CRM supports firefox and other browsers apart from IE

can you pls share if CRM supports firefox and other browsers apart from IE. are their any specific settings to enable other browsers?

From The PAM choose the link SAP Application Components->SAP CRM.
Then pick your release of CRM. Then in the release detail information, choose the web browser and/or web browser platform tabs.
I.e. I did this for CRM 4.0 and found that basically only IE was supported for IC webclient.

Homepage startup on Firefox and other browsers are too slow than before.

Hi,
Whenever I go into the homepage at Firefox it loads it really fast. I was in a site today and found this program called Hide my IP or some related application. I wanted to try it out. I did and my internet was then slow, so I decided to uninstall it after unhiding it. Ever since I uninstalled it, my Firefox takes about a long time to load the homepage, however, after the homepage was done it loads every other page I go into just fine like normal. The only thing is bothering me is that Firefox takes a long time to get to the home page but seems to load everything else fine. Notice, I did not say Firefox is taking a long time to start up. I tried different browsers, disabled any existing proxy servers, and ran malware and antivirus scans, but the problem still persists. I have also cleared cache with Firefox and CCleaner and have restarted my router, but the problem still persists.

Jzip has hijacked Firefox and other browsers and I cannot get rid of it!

I installed Jzip on my computer and it has hijacked my home page on Firefox . I have tried un-installing jzip and it still happens. In the control panel my homepage is still www.google.com which is what I want, but in Firefox new tabs open with jzip.

Appearance of iWeb 2.0.2 pages in Safari and other browsers

I guess this question has been posted several times before because I can't find the relevant search terms to limit the number of answers to a reasonable count. Thus, sorry for the repetition (if so).
Is there a way to amend the appearance problems of iWeb 2.0.2 pages in Safari and other browsers?
Problems are:
Safari: color management (?) - take a look at this site: http://shivaduo.jan-groh.de - Text and frame were created with exactly the same web safe color (990033), but they differ a lot.
Firefox 2..., IE 6, Camino 1.5, Shiira: no shadows, (some) no reflections, (all) horizontally broken lines in reflections of frames, (Windows) fonts (Trebuchet MS) get changed (worked perfectly before with iWeb 1... on exactly the same computer).
Is there any remedy to this aestheical disaster (which was the main reason for me to switch to iLife '08)?

I can not get Firefox to play music backgrounds on pages in browsers it works in IE and other browsers but not firefox, what HTML or Jave script do I need too use to make them work?

I'm having a problem with firefox playing background music on some sites, it works with IE and other browsers but not with fire fox, what html or java script do I need to add to the pages so that they play the music?
I develop my pages in Front Page and I know that the music only works in IE, so if someone can tell me how to correct this problem as it is important as I use fire fox as my main browser.

If a website uses BGSOUND then it will only work in IE.
BGSOUND is not compatible with other browsers like Firefox.

You can modify the pref keyword.URL on the about:config page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or Google's "Browse By Name".

Why does my bank not recognize my computer every time I log on, and this only occurs when I log on with Firefox not other browsers

I log on to by bank and firefox remembers my account #, but when the next screen pops up the bank does not recognize my computer. Each time after answering the correct security question ,I check the box to remember this as a personal computer but it never does. This only happens when I use Firefox, not other browsers. This happened to me too. This problem started suddenly with no changes made on my part. I had 11.2 Flash version with Firefox 13. I tried updating to the new Firefox, same problem, then updated to Flash 11.3. I even uninstalled RealPlayer.
I read a solution on another forum and it was as easy as clearing my cache. Everything works fine now (even after reinstalling RealPlayer and allowing the download button function).

From my tests, everything is normal and it seems there is no setting in browser to configure this number.

IOS 8 - pictures not uploading in safari for facebook and other websites? I just upgraded to IOS 8 on my iPad 3 retina display and when I try to upload pictures in safari for facebook, the picture upload just stalls and never completes. This happens in other sites as well. How can I fix this? Is anyone also experiencing this issue???

This may not be the best place to post such a solution but maybe some users will find it. If it turns out to be a major problem with a simple solution maybe we will manage to document it somewhere.
Are you able to provide more details please:
* exactly what software and software versions is the problem with ? You appear to be a Windows 8 user, but presumably the Kaspersky software may be applicable to other Windows versions, which Kaspersky software is this tested with ?
* What is he exact error message or warning that Kaspersky generates in this situation ?
* is the problem documented elsewhere, preferably in a public open site, if so maybe you could provide a link
* can you detail simple but exact detailed Steps To Reproduce that will enable others to test out this problem and solution.
