Safari web browser doesn't load any web page...!??

I have installed Safari Web Browser 5.1.2 on my acer laptop running windows 7 os wid 4 gb RAM, 512 MB of Intel Graphics and an i5 Processor..
On entering any url and then clicking enter, the loading progress commences upto a small fraction of the whole bar and stops right there. The same process repeats in new tabs and irrespective of any page. I have reset the browser many a time and also attempted emptying the cache and erased history ONLY IN VAIN....!
PLEASE suggest how I get this browser to work.
P.S.
The i5 processor is 64-bit, and 32-bit mozilla and google chrome work well, with occasional crashes due to faulty plug-ins(basically flash content)....

thats great, am ACER laptop user too. model travelmate timeline X8572T, just equal to your´s, accept I3 processor (Intel graphics, HD LED LCD, 4GB, SSD Samsung 470 upgrade, OS WIN7 and Linux (L)ubuntu 11.10 speedy Ubuntu.
...installed first new safari 5.05, then 5.12, resized to old version 4.05 ---- same error "can´t connect to any website", get message in "de" equal to "safari can´t open website" --- f.e. can´t open http://www.news.google.de, cause server can´t reply
what´s wrong with new safari (???), I remember, tested in past a running version 3 on my old Samsung laptop, he´s just in clouds (r.i.p), but no.3 works, but was a bit slow.
have no problem using Chrome 17, FFox 11 (answering from) and Opera 11.6 with any website at all...
...and at least something special, "have a quiet earth in NZL, Christchurch, these days, no quake..."

1. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
    Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
    Restart the computer.
    Start up in Safe Mode.

2. Delete Caches.db
    Close all windows and quit all applications.
    Hold "option" key down and click "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
    Select "Library" from the dropdown.
    Library > Caches > com.apple.Safari > Caches.db
    Right click the Caches.db file and select "Move To Trash.
    Close windows and relaunch Safari.
3. Empty Caches
    Safari > Preference > Advanced
    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
4. Delete Cookies
    Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
    Click “Remove All Website Data”.

Browser doesn't open any "https pages" and i can't add my Google account.
Time is correct.

Maybe you should check the HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (https) option within the browser settings
Check if the cookies could be accepted.

Safari doesn't load a special page

I've got a problem with Safari. It doesn't load a special page. I always got a timeout. It's the admin page from my pixelpost site. Other Browsers like Firefox or Camino etc didn't work too, but when I start Parallels and load this page in Internet Explorer all browsers under Mac OS X works perfect after I load it once in windows.
Deleting cache or deinstalling Safari completly and reinstall with Pacifist didn't solve the problem. I couldn't explain it for me, so I hope that some of you know a solution.
I've got always the newest version of all Mac OS X Browsers

Thanks for the info, perhaps some one will pipe in with more for you, I hope so.
I suggest you look at Parallels support, & contact them.
See if there is an update for it, that may help.
Other wish if I were you i would try uninstalling the Parallels software,
to see if that makes any difference to your accessabity to said site.
It is indicated that it may be the issues simce you say you can load the page if the application parallels is running, it's as if you mac is behaving like a windows box.

Hi Can any body tell me how to close the safari web pages on ipad air. I have a 5S and it has your pages collected in the right had corner you can click on this and then delete each page, but the Air does not have this. Can anybody tell me please.

I am having the same problem. My airport says i'm connected with full bars but when i click on safari it takes a few minutes then says i'm not connected to the server. Now the kicker is i have a magicjack and you need internet to run it and that works fine... also i can access my itunes store which also requires internet. I can only run safari with the ethernet cable connected. Regarding #1, your post says you have a beta version of Firefox 4. That may well be incorrect, but that is why the site says you do not have the latest version.
Losing graphics on the bookmarks toolbar and not having a working back button are not normal, but I'm not sure whether you want to troubleshoot Firefox 4, roll back to Firefox 3.6, or just move on.

When I try to send a Safari web page via Mail, Mail locks up!

No matter how I try to Email a Safari web page (using the share arrow icon or the mail icon or the File menu), Mail locks up. Then I have to Force Quit Mail and send the report to Apple. There must be a bug somewhere, but I can't figure out where! I have closed and restarted Safari, closed and restarted Mail, restarted my Mac Pro - all to no avail. I have every update installed - and, in fact, the latest update to Mountain Lion is the culprit, as I didn't have this problem before I installed it! Is it possible to uninstall this latest update? You're suffering from two common misconceptions.
1. You will never get a response from Apple when you submit a crash report. The reports are used internally, if at all.

Restart your Mac and immediately hold down the Shift key when you hear the startup chime to boot into Safe Mode. Keep holding the Shift key until you see a progress bar towards the bottom of the screen. You can let go of the Shift key at that point.
OS X asks you to log in (you will get this screen on a Safe Mode boot even if your Mac is set to automatically log in). Let the Mac finish booting to the desktop and then restart normally. This will clear Font Book's database and the cache files of the user account you logged into in Safe Mode.
Next, close all running applications. From an administrator account, open the Terminal app and enter the following command. You can also copy/paste it from here into the Terminal window:
sudo atsutil databases -remove
Terminal will then ask for your admin password. As you type, it will not show anything, so be sure to enter it correctly.
This removes all font cache files. Both for the system and the current user font cache files. After running the command, close Terminal and immediately restart your Mac.
