Hi, two questions.
New to safari, when I hover over a link it doesn't display the web address, is there a way to turn this on or is it not available in Safari.
In regard to Hotmail, is there a way to synch up Hotmail with Mail in leopard so that when I click an email address it allows me to send via hotmail.
If not, how do you find out the email address, because when I click it, just takes me to mail and doesn't allow me to at least view what the email address is, so I can manually send it via Hotmail.

Choose Show Status Bar from the View menu.

My link preview has disappeared from the bottom left of the page (it no longer pops up when I hover over a link.) Thoughts on how to get it back? I really LIKE having it!
It is possible that the screen is too high and that the scroll bar and the find bar and add-on bar fall off at the bottom.
If that works then close Firefox (File > Exit/Quit) to save that setting.

I am not seeing the URL preview you get when you hover over a link. Why?
Until today, when I hovered my cursor over a link, a preview of the link's URL would appear on the lower left of my screen, above the Start button (I use Windows Vista). Currently when I hover over a link, no preview appears, so I don't know the web address of where I'm going when I click on the link. I thought that maybe this was due to updating to Firefox 19.0, but my friends who have also updated say that they can still see the URL preview. Did I somehow turn off the URL preview by accident? If so, how can I turn it back on? If not, why is it gone?
Do you see toolbars like the Add-ons bar (Ctrl+/) or the Find bar (Ctrl+F)?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

You could adjust the mailnews.tcptimeout preference, as explained in the 2nd point in [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Can_not_send_large_attachments this article]. Also, make sure there's no security program scanning outgoing mail attachments.

When I'm on iChat, it doesn't show the video chat icon. When I try to change it, it tells me that my camera doesn't support video chats. Please help

How to hide the Alt description when you hover over your links?
I was told that you have to have a description for images, links just about everything. But when I preview my website and hover over the links, a yellow box appears with the description of the images. How do I hide this?
You are previewing with an old (very old?) version of IE, which is the only browser on earth that does what you describe. All other browsers play by the rules and leave the alt attribute values alone (which is what they should do).
You can choose to ignore this, or 'kill' it by adding a title attribute that is empty, e.g.,
<img alt="foo" title=""...
By the way, you add alt attributes to images for accessibility reasons. People who browse with images turned off (and there are some) or people who use screen assistive devices (screenreaders) need some indication that there is an image at the point where they are looking/reading. Consequently, you would only want to add content to these alt attributes where it's important to the message of the page (i.e., a cosmetic-only image would just have an empty alt attribute value). And you only need these for images, not for any other page element.... -

my imessage isnt working properly it always shows the delivered and after the person reads it, it tells me that they have read it but right now its not even telling me if its delivered or not so can you help fix it ?

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP. I have sprint and it got all my contacts to transfer but now when I send out on a lot of my contacts it shows the number not the name, what do I do? I have tried almost everything!

What does it show? A new page or a request to pick a theme and page, i.e. as if you're creating a new site from scratch?
Try the following:
close iWeb.
delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
reboot.
launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
launch iWeb and try again.

The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by issues with opening a file from external media. You may have tried/done some of them already; 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you may find the folder here:

What to do when changes are made and refresh doesn't show the changes?
I'm new to SCSM and I have created some lists in authoring tool and when I go into console to edit them they are not showing up. Even after refresh. Also creating some new incident views for support groups are not showing up until I restart the Management
server. Is there a service or something I can restart that will make changes take affect faster?the poster is editing in the console, so no MP import/export should be required, that being said, the console does do a lot of caching, so if you don't see something, you might need to restart the console.
you can restart the three or four Services marked "System Center", you should ge the same effect as restarting the server. that being said, restarting the server should not be required. if restarting the management services is really required,
then there is probably some performance issue with your database or some performance issue with your workflow (first) management group server. -
