Safari - won't let me send messages using face book do i need an upgrade ?

can't send message's using face book is this because i need to up grade my safari browser? and if so with what? i have a power book g4 10.2.8

Check you are allowed to make changes to your Safari cache folder..
~/Library/Caches/Safari/
Perform a 'Get Info' (Cmd+I) on the listed folder in Finder and check to make sure that it isn't locked, and that you have write privileges.

What I recommend you try doing first is to turn iMessage off then back on. If that doesn't work, make sure that your Apple ID and password are correct. If everything seems correct and you still can't send out messages using iMessage instead of text message, I think you should either try calling AppleCare at 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466) and/or scheduling an appointment at the Genius Bar at an Apple Store (that is, if there's one close to you).

Because I know enough to be dangerous... I was trying to extend the two outside columns down.... Instead of just using faux columns which I have fixed since I posted the question.
The other link problem is the left sidebar links. When you go to the event photos page I have a repeat of the sidebar links that are on the newsletter page. I used named anchors on the newsletter page to link to the particular article. From the Event Photos page the links look like this:

The problem I am having is that some of these go to the newsletter page and the anchor and some do not (I get an error message saying it can't find the page). To add to the problem is that when we choose say the President's Message, when it goes to the newsletter page and the correct anchor, the newsletter page is missing all the links to the graphics... the photos are missing the graphic for the faux columns is missing. It makes no sense. When I preview the newsletter page from Dreamweaver everything shows up fine.
I do not know if all of this is being caused because I haven't posted this stuff to the site or what. I've tried re-booting both the browser and Dreamweaver, dumping the cache and still the same nonsense.
Got any ideas?

IPhone won't let me send messages to more than 2 contacts at a time

My iPhone suddenly won't let me send messages to more than 2 contacts at a time. This is annoying as I want to send out a group SMS to people.
Any suggestions? I'm using the latest update to the operating system.

It would appear that I can send an SMS to multiple contacts, providing that it's not a forwarded message. This means that I have to start from scratcheach time, and then I can send it to over 30 recipients at a time. Not sure why though, and I'm not sure why the sign doesn't appear all of the time as an option for me to press. At other times, it is particially obscured by the curser/text box. This is obviously a glitch in the system, as it happens inconsistently.

When using Messages, I have my acount set up already, and so I just choose recipent, write the message, but the "Send"button is always gray and won't let me click on it. How can I use Messages, please help? And I am using iOS 5 by the way

If you have a 1G iPod or iOS 3.x that seems to be a problem that Apple created when they updated their website. No know solution yet except to download on your computer and sync.

Safari won't let me send attachments

I'm trying to send an attachment with my .mac account on Safari and when I select an attachment it fails to upload and instead I get this response:

Explorer in Safari won't let me attach messages

I have logged into my explorer account through the most up to date version of Safari.
When I click to attach a file, the pop up window comes up which allows me to select the file, but the box itself is too small and the "Attach File" or whatever button at the bottom of the box isn't there. I can't expand the box, or scroll down. So I can select the file but not submit to actually attach it. See the photo.

I can attach photos as attachments with my Mac Mail to send them but can't do so with my hotmail or sbcglobal accounts!?

At first, my ichat was completely frozen. I deleted the program and re downloaded it off the disc. Everything seems to run smoothly except that when i type a message it doesn't ever send. I don't think i'm receiving messages either.

Skype Website Won't Let Me Send Message To Custome...

I was charged way too early for an auto-renewal of a subscription, and to contact customer service about it, I went through the whole process several times on two different web browsers without luck, as the Skype website is having technical problems!
I was charged 8 days early in the billing cycle for my subscription, and need to get that adjusted, but if I can't contact customer service about it, then what am I supposed to do?
After going through several attempts to get to the page where I could write my message and give the info requested (multiple times being asked to sign in again only to have to start all over again), I hit send and I was taken to a page that says:
"Sorry, we’re having some problems at the moment. Please try again later. In the meantime, you can post to the Skype Community or read our FAQs."
No, I can't post to the forum about this, because it's a private issue!
Also, I want to know why Skype, especially since it's owned by Microsoft, isn't charging US customers from a US payment gateway instead of a European gateway? The way Skype has iit set up now, every time a US customer pays them, the customer's bank charges them a 3% International Transaction Fee, which shouldn't be happening.

1. According to your account you were charged correctly. You have 2 Subscriptions. To which one are you referring?
Due to the time it can take for some transactions to be processed, we charge your bank or PayPal account three days in advance to ensure prompt delivery of your subscription. You don’t lose these three days: your subscription is still valid for the full period that you sign up for (one, three or 12 months).
Although the recurring payment is taken three days in advance to avoid possible delays, your subscription minutes are reset based on the initial purchase date and time.
Minutes are added to Plans at or about midnight UTC/GMT on the due date.

Try:
- Go to Settings>General>Time&Date and make sure it is set to Automatic
- Go to Settings>wifi>the connected network and change the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8
- Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to reenter all network passwords.

Hi! I know this is much later but if anyone else has this problem I think I've found the solution, the problem is the obvious SIM Card, you may need to activate your sim card on your carriers website! I am with Orange EE and that's the verdict for me! Hope this helps P.S. I've had the same problem x
